Anyway, you know the drill. **Round 1 vs. Jeff** Jeff runs a non-themed deck with some tricks. He's usually a good source of trades too. -Match 1 Painful in opening hand! Picked my usual 3 Fiends, Sinister, and Jinzo. He chose Jinzo to go into my hand. Prematured Sangan, sacked it for Jinzo, got a Kuriboh. He didn't get any good monster draws so that was pretty much game. -Match 2 Ended up in him winning when I snatched and Changed of Hearted his Nimbles, then Ringed a Nimble on his turn when I was at 600 :\ -Match 3 Stormed his m/t's and Raigeki'd his face down Nimble, Painfulled my usual. Forgot what he did on his turn, but I CotH a Jinzo. Played Orc, Raigeki'd his side and shot for 4600. He played a face down but I Change of Hearted it on my turn. Record: 2-1 **Round 2 vs. Mike** Runs another non-themed deck, though this one's alot more coherent. Got my 2nd CotH from him after this round. -Match 1 No Painful in hand, plus it was pretty crappy. Anyway he won because he got all of his equips when I had nothing to deal with them. -Match 2 Drew into an okay hand, ended up getting like 10 cards in my grave first turn thanks to Painful, Graceful, and like 3 magics. Ended up dealing with his equips and coulda tied with Ring, but I continued because I didn't want to still be down a match. Ended up winning with Slate after I got him topdecking. -Match 3 Don't remember this one but I won it because I got him topdecking again. Record: 4-2 **Semis vs. April** I've yet to beat her in a round. She plays a beatdown with 3 GK Spy to stop attacks from 1900's. She's the eldest daughter (like 14 though shes REALLY immature) in a family that plays every week. -Match 1 Her freagin Spies stopped Slate, Change of Hearted for the win. It was rather close though. -Match 2 She got out Cyber, I Ringed beforehand though I prolly shoulda kept it. Got us both down to around 2600 but she pulled 3 monsters while I pulled Sangan. Shortly after, I had no hadn and she had 5 in hand, so it was game anyway. Record: 4-4 Pros: -Me getting my Fiend deck back in working order -Getting my 2nd CotH, making my Fiend and Beast decks two separately complete decks -Selling DMoC for $10 and learning that the same store that bought that buys Shinatos for $6 (I heard about it but I haven't seen it), Dark Magician Girls for like $14, and CED's for $27 (price em at $65, though no one's bought any). Cons: -Eric for remembering I owed him $1 -Home Field for horrible, horrible prices ($65 for CED, $35 for Mirror Force, etc etc) -Not selling my cards as well as I did on Saturday -There being nothing to do in this town past 6 on Sundays Paul Reinhardt, Jek on the Yugioh ladder and chat Paulwayner2@aol.com
