Nothings wrong, just getting some stuff worked out. ANYWHO! Glad I didn't miss this one. It was a clean and pretty exciting tourney (plus the judge could not attend so I got to fill in) but back to the duels. Our 3 sets of Semi-Finallists were (and forgive me if I did not get your last name, but you know who you are so quit ya gripin) 1. TJ vs. Dr. Zoidberg Nerveball (Brandon Rushing) = Nerveball twitches his way to a victory 2. Ice Boy (Adam O'Malley) vs. Jish (Josh) Ice Boy slides in for a win 3. Levi (Adam Garret) vs. Killer Kyle Kyle cleanly conquers the kid Finals: Nerveball vs. Ice Boy = Nerveball turns on that Exodia heat and melts the Ice Boy's hopes. Dr. Ziodberg Nerveball vs. Killer Kyle: I wrote down the major events of this one. and this is how the 2 duels went (Kyle had no losses, and Brandon had 1, so Brandon had to win 2 times) DUEL 1: Kyle goes first and lays a Bazoo the Soul Eater, not a bad first turn play. He ends and Brandon draws, then plays Swords of Revealing Light. Bazoo is stuck, and Brandon plays one card face down. Kyle draws a lays a face down monster and ends his turn. Brandon, safe behind his swords, flips his face down, Magician of Faith, and gets his Swords back from the graveyard (he has the rare one that does not stay on the field) and plays a monster face down. Kyle's turn, he draws and flips his Jowls, taking Brandon's face down card. Its Emissary of the Afterlife. Kyle then plays Ring of Destruction on his own Bazoo and deals 1900 to both players. (Kyle: 6100, Brandon: 6100) then plays Call of the Haunted on his Bazoo. Kyle ends, Brandon draws and plays Swords AGAIN. Kyle is stuck again. Brandon flips a face down card, Penguin Soldier and returns his own Magician of Faith and Kyle's Bazoo. He then plays one monster face down. Brandon ends. Kyle draws and flips his Jowls taking Brandon's face down monster, Penguin Soldier. He flips it and returns his own Jowls and Brandon's Emissary. He lays one card face down and then ends. Brandon draws and plays one monster face down. Kyle draws and flips Cyber Jar, destroying a Sangan on his side of the field and an Emissary on Brandon's. Brandon searches for the last piece of Exodia and gets it. Brandon wins by OBLITERATION.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA *ahem* (clears throught and composes himself) Sorry, lost my mind there a minute. Anywho. On to the second and final duel. Brandon 1, Kyle 1. Kyle lost so Kyle goes first. He plays Slate Warrior in attack mode. Brandon's turn. He draws but plays nothing. Kyle draws and plays one monster face down and attacks Brandon directly for 1900 with Slate Warrior (Brandon: 6100, Kyle: 8000). Brandon draws and can do nothing. He ends. Kyle draws and attacks with Slate Warrior again (Brandon: 4200, Kyle: 8000). Brandon draws and lays one monster in face down defense. Kyle's turn. He draws and flips his Jowls taking Brandon's face down Dark Mimic Lv 1, drawing a card by its affect. He then attacks directly with Jowls, Slate Warrior, and Dark Mimic. (Brandon: 2000, Kyle: 8000) Brandon draws, but just hangs his head. He ends, and Kyle draws and attacks with Slate Warrior and Jows of Dark Demise. (Brandon: 0, Kyle: 8000). And that was that. Kyle walks away with...with...HEY what where the prizes? OOPS! Forgot what they were, oh well, either the cards or the 5 bucks. So anyway thats all I got for ya, untill next time. CYA Props: To Kyle for mercilessly defeating ALL IN HIS WAY! *ahem* Brandon, for doing suprisingly well with his new Exodia deck. Mr. Freels (as always) for holding this tourney. And to me for finally getting to attend another one of these Slops: The judge (Brody) for not showing up (had a cheak-pinchin family reunion to attend) Other than that, not much :) pretty good day all around.
