Be for the tournament started I got some trades. I traded a
bent up vampire lord to some kid for a 1st edition ultimate rare horus the black
flame dragon LV6 & a torrential tribute. When I was finished with my trading
I signed up for the tournament. It was $6 to enter and the prizes are 1st gets
10 packs, 2nd gets 8, and third gets 6 but to keep it friendly we some times
split it even. The tournament is advanced format only( for those not in the know
that means no banned cards).
My deck is as follows:: 40 x skull servants.........read on and you'll see
whats in my deck
The tounament is single elimation and you play best 2 out of 3 and there is
a losers tournament.
The matchs were called and I was paired up with alex
Me v.s alex
Alex is a very experienced Duelist , He's gone to
almost all the regionals in florida and has played the game since LOB. I started
playing the game in pharohs servant,anyways back 2 da duel. We cut and I got
solemn judgment and he cut a scapegoat so we went by number and i went first.my
first hand i drew 2 goats, cannon soldier , scientist, change of heart, and
cylinder. I set 2 goats and cylinder and set the soldier. He msts 1
goat and i chain it. he sets 2 m/ts and summons Gorilla and attacks soldier and
activate cylinder and he takes 2000. now its my turn.I drew mst and
destroy his face down rod. what a relief.i flip soldier launch 4 goats for 2000
, Coh his gorilla summon scientist pay 1000 and summon senshi ( u can
never be to safe ) and atk for 3700 and launch them all for game.
Round 2
Much less
complicated, but to make a long story short i lost. He played ectoplasmer and
raped me with gorillas and horus lv 8.
Round 3
This is when
it gets good. Since i lost i get to pick he goes first so i decided to go first.
I drew D.D designator , forceful , torrential , rod , fiber and time seal. I
play force ful and send horus lv4 ( his only monster ) back to his deck. I d.d
his pot of greed and set fiber face down and set every thing else. On his turn
He drew and summoned horus lv4 ( what luck! But he runs 2 so it should'nt be
such a surprise)
and I ring horus and chain time seal. Now were both at 6400.
On my turn I draw jinzo but it dosent really matter cuz i flip fiber. I drew d.d
designator , confiscation , magic drain ,don zaloog, and blade knight. I
confiscation, i Send heavy storm to the graveyard , d.d his change of
heart, summon don hit him for 1400 and discard jinzo. On his turn he skips his
draw phase becuz of time seal and activates premature and i magic drain and now
he oly has a level up! in his hand! My turn i draw pot. activate it and
draw horus lv6 and premature. I sac don for lv 6 and premature my don and hit
him for 3700 , he now has 1300. and discard morphing jar and cyber
jar from the top of his deck. he draw andsets 1 card face down. I draw and get
tiv I atk with horus and he chains call of the haunted and brings back jinzo , i
run right into a jinzo. I go to main phase 2 put don in defense and end. he sacs
jinzo for lv6 and plays level up! ( damnit!!!!) and summons the most broken
advance format monster lv 8. at atks don. my turn i draw BlS-EoB. I summon
tiv declares dragon , discard blade knight , remove don and the knight , summon
the soldier and atk for game.
I tell the judge that I won and get the next pairing
Me v.s Russel
( full blown horus deck)
We cut
and he gets lv 8 so I just let him go first. He plays lv4 2 level ups summons lv
8 prematures lv 6 and levels it up to lv8 and sets a card face down. I draw and
get , Pot, change of heart, time seal, torrential , rod , and tomato .
Damn i hate Lv8. i cant play my magics or he'll just nagate them so i set
torrential , time seal and ring and set tomato he draws and sctivates heavy
storm. I chain ring and blows up a horus and time seal. were
both at 5000 now. he activates Call of the haunted brings back horus and atks my
face down tomato, i get another tomato and he atks it for 1600 and i get
scentist. i draw and get Morphing jar # 2. so I switch sicentist to defense
summon restrict and kamikazie. he draws lv 4 and atks and gets lv 6 than atks my
morphing jar # 2 it flips and it's effect goes off. He loses a pot,
forceful , rod , change of hart and a enemy controller. he gets a exiled force
and ends his turn. i draw and get cannon soldier , i play pot and get fissure
and waboku . i set waboku summon the soldier change of hart and atk him
for 2400 and i launch exiled for 500. hes now at 2100 and im at 2400. he
draws and sets. i draw blade knight summon it and luanch the soldier himself for
500. i atk and its cyber jar its effect is negated. he draws and activates
snatch steal on my balde knight atks and i waboku. my turn i draw white magical
hat and gain 1000 because of snatch.i fissure my blade knight and
summon and atk with hat. hes now at 600 at am at 3400. he draws and
sets. i draw and summon my second blade knight and atk its a fiber jar. its
effect goes off and i draw scape goat , cannon soldier , torrential, waboku, and
lv 6. i set torrential and waboku. he goes plays pot of greed , plays
heavy storm i chain waboku. he sets 2 cards face down , summons lv 4
and actvates level up and gets level 6, than activates level up again and
summons lv 8. and then pays 800 to activate premature to summon back his
lv.6.now im in trouble i summon my soldier activate scape goat i launch all the
goats , and he chains hallowed life barrier. so i set the cylinder that i just
drew and end my turn. he summons exiled and atks i cylinder and win.
We ran out of time
and i was awarded the win because i won the only game we played.
Round
3
Me v.s yanyo
yanyo is 1 of
the best duelists there. He runs burn so you know i was in for a tough duel. I
cut and i go first. I draw fiber , forceful, d.d designator , heavy , cylinder ,
and torrential. i activate forceful and send ojama trio to his deck
and remove lava golem with d.d. , I set fiber , cylinder and torrential. his
turn he activates 2 wace motion cannons sets a crad face down and summons
reflect bounder in face up atk mode and atks my face down fiber i cylinder. and
then its my turn i draw mst and flip fiber. I think i drew the best hand in the
world that day. I drew forceful , confiscation, d.d designator ,pot , and don. I
play pot and draw time seal and magic drain i set time seal and magic
drain. I forceful 1 of his wave motion cannons , confiscation another and d.d
his second lava golem.i leave him with swords , and airknight. He draws and sets
1 card face down and activates swords i magic drain and chain time seal. on my
turn i draw mst. i activate it and destroy his face down cylinder and atk with
don and discard his airknight.he draws and passes. i draw blowback sack don and
atk for 2300. he now has 1600 and i have 7000. he draws and sets monster face
down and sets. on my turn he activates drop off. it was a d.d warrior
lady. i use blowbacks effect but i got no heads , so i atk and its a magician of
faith. he gets back swords , he draws and activates pot
, then he activates
snatch on my blowback sacs it for total defense shogun and atks me for 1550. Im
at 5450 i draw and get BLS-EoB
Remove d.d and don summon the soldier for
game.
Round 2
He goes first and summons reflect bounder
activates 2 chain energys, and sets a m/t face down. my turn i draw mof ,
painful , pot ,spirit reaper , snatch steal , and torrential. I activate pot and
pay 1000, i draw horus lv 6 and serpant. i activate painful and take another
1000, I pick d.d designator , jinzo, blowback , tomato and blade knight .
he gives me jinzo. i set torrential , snatch his reflect bounder and sac it for
horus lv6. i atk him but he chains waboku. am now at 3000 and hes at 8000. on
his turn he activates level limit , sacs reflect for ha des , i chain torrential
and he sets another card face down and ends his turn. on my turn i draw
heavy storm. i activate it blowing away his 2 chains, nightmare wheel and level
limit .i set mof and end. he sets 1 m/t face down and ends his turn.i draw
shinning angel , flip mof and get back pot, i activate it and draw card
destruction and blade knight, i activate card destructuion and draw confiscaton
, serpent , mst , and white magical hat. summon hat and atk for 1300
and set mst. he discards dust tornado. on his turn he draws and sacs my mof and
hat for lava golem and activates gravity bind. i draw and take 1000 i only have
1000 life points left. i draw cannon solider summon it , mst his gravity bind
and atk for 4300 and then launch them both for game.
finals
I couldnt stay and
play the last match because my mom called and said my sister got into a
car accident and she was on her way to pick me. so I Forfited got second place
and 8 soul of duelists packs. I pulled a Horus lv8 ultra rare and a lv 4
ultimate rare and everything else was crap.
