Gaia Power (taken out for Compulsary Evacuation Device at a later time) Graceful Charity Monster Reborn Mystical Space Typhoon x2 (traded one for a Blade) Pot of Greed Reinforcement of the Army The A. Forces x2 It basically gets and keeps my Amazons on the field, plus it gets them pumped up (over 3000 atk for Paladin isn't uncommon). Put in 2 Drain after magic killed me in an earlier tourney today. The only thing it needs is another Dramatic Rescue and some better magic... I almost had Raigeki for $5 but someone beat me to it. We were doing team duals but then 2 more people showed, so we went to single elimination. Round 1 vs. Llamar Random noobie. First match I got Ultimate offering out 2nd turn and filled the creatures, killing him turn 4 thanks to a short-lived swords. HE walked away before the owner and myself told him it was 2 ou of 3. Got out Offering again around turn 5 and beat him down after goign through random starter deck creatures and other noobie cards. Round 2 vs. Eric My ride and one of 2 people I constantly playtest against. Anyway he runs a 'dragon/beatdown/noob' deck. First round he ended up Yata-locking me after his Jinzo stopped my defenses (he plays massive Fissure and other removal). Second and third were a blur, though the last I remember killing Yata and beatin his ass down after a Raigeki Break killed a face-down card that wouldn't've mattered anyway. Round 3 vs. Jay, the Finals! Infamous player with a flawless Water deck, yet he still manages to throw in non-cookie cutter cards like Reload and CED. First time he got an Ocean out and overpowered my Amazons with Giga and the like. Second I got him to 5650 while he went through bad draws, but he came back in the end. Thanks to him I got Premature Burial, though. Prize was, because of the size of the tourney and the pool consisting of $2 from everyone, enough for an IOC pack. Traded my rare for CED, so all in all it was a good day. Notes: -I would NEVER have gotten to the finals if it hadn't've been for the fact that a family consisting of dad and 2 siblings were busy. They SLAUGHTER everyone, the dad usually winning. Exodia-guy with a butterfly combo in there was absent as well. -The changes were awesome, as PB rocks, though in the tourney after this I played in I lost to a beatdown deck that was as close to a rogue deck as yu-gi-oh gets. -Everyone in my region plays they're own way, even when they use archetype decks. You should too! Props go to Eric for driving me and the two guys I got my final 2 Fusins from, and the guy who gave me a bent Gearfried (holo) for free, making my Gearfried count 3. Butterfly combo 50% done! Paul Reinhardt Paulwayner2@aol.com
