Yea, so I went with a good friend of mine to the tourney. I let him use my second deck which I modified into a beatdown deck with Dark Paladin.
Match 1 – Me vs. Eric (my friend with my 2nd deck)
Duel 1
Yea, I was kinda pissed that I had to play against him in the first round. Not too bad since he won’t get eliminated. The first duel was just me whipping out traps to stop his archfiend soldiers and me killing his hand with dons. I ended up winning with yata.

Duel 2
Since Eric does know how to play (he doesn’t play much), he unleashed a huge combo on me. He managed to summon Dark Paladin and Jinzo with Call of the Haunted, so I was in poop. All I had was sinister…. Yea that was bad.

Duel 3
GOOOOO DDWLS!!!! Lol, I love that card. I removed his Jinzo and witch of the black forest. Still it was a close duel, but I edged it out.

Match 2 – Me vs. Tony (beatdown deck)
Duel 1
This was a quick duel, it ended quickly with me using yata to lock him up.

Another quick one, I was surprised but he couldn’t do much. He managed to do some damage early on, but I took control with a Don to kill his hand. Reborned his luster too =P

Match 3 – Me vs. Jacob (another beatdown)
Duel 1
Total control on my part, don did most of the work as I ringed and mirror forced my way to victory. Just have to say go waboku!!! Lol

Stupid goblins…. Kept my don off the field and spears… Once I got my Jinzo on the field, raigeki and blah!! Go me!

Match 4 – Me vs. Robert (*sigh* yes another beatdown)
Duel 1
Just have to say… go fiber jar, saved my butt the entire duel. Fiber and poke at his life for a bit, then fiber again. I was down to 1200 and he was at 2700. Eventually I changed of heart his marauding with mage power attacked him sasuke and attacked him directly with ddwl... *phew* just enough

Gooo poo poo yata!! Again, I just had a nice hand. Not really much he could do. He was being persistent with his sinister, but I managed to get rid of it with ddwl.

Quarterfinals – Me vs. Jacob
Duel 1
He saw the power of my deck, so he didn’t really try too much, it wasn’t that huge of a deal for me to win. Mostly ddwls and dons all over again.

He actually just left….. so I was declared the winner.
Semifinals – Me vs. Eric
Duel 1
It was cool, my friend advanced with me to the finals. I was hoping I didn’t have to play him until finals, but I guess only one of us could go. Eric KICKED MY BUTT this duel, too many archfiends and geminis on the field!! Ahhh… I couldn’t do anything… sad really…

Duel 2
Now it was my turn to wreck havoc on him. Jinzo, V-lord and don on the 3rd turn kicked his butt. He raigekied, but still v-lord saved me. J

Now this was a close match. Eric had control of the field with skilled darks out, but I finally drew a dark hole and started my attack with tomatoes. He tried to premature, but mst all the way! Still it was cool, good match.

Finals – Me vs. Tony
Duel 1
Yea, so I just had to replay people that I beat before. Another quick duel, this time it was supplemented with Imperial Order!! Kept it out on the field and it killed him. He had premature, raigeki, pot and dark hole in his hand. I managed to poke him to death with my tomato and his snatched tribe.

Duel 2
Fun, fun, fun for me again! For a while I was worried since I knew he had a mirror force on the field (just a hunch but I guessed right). Summoned Breaker to kill it, used raigeki, attacked. Next turn waboku, then snatch, jinzo, and bleh! Go me, I win J

Yea during the whole tourney I got some sweet trades. Too many to list, but the best was my Obelisk the Tormentor (GBI secret rare) for a full exodia set with a DDS head… *sigh* that was good J

Eric for driving me there and playing with me. I had fun, hope he did too.
Eric for coming in 3rd!!! Damn not bad for his 1st tourney.
