Got Gemini Elf (ew...). Got reload, robbin' zombie, and stray lambs in the packs. Decided to put in reload and test it out. Looked around for a call of the haunted (i really needed one) and convinced some guy to trade it to me for my Gemini and an extra spirit repear i had on me (nice...lol). I took out one Shadowknight Archfiend for a Tribe Infecting Virus that I had ealier "borrowed" from my sister...lol...I hoped it would help. I had also come the day before, and this was only my second tourney. I noticed the guy who beat me to become 2nd, and shafted me to 5th was also there... lol, there would be time for revenge later...I tried to get some guys Snatch Steal but to no avail... -------------------------------------------- 1st Round Me vs. Some guy who had no protectors 1st Match:It was really easy. I summoned archfiend soldier face up, and immediately, i already saw the concern in the other guy's eyes. He had nothing strong enough to beat it, and soon my king and queen were backing it up. Pandomonum stopped the lifepoint pain for me, but caused much pain for him. He made an attempt to attack me with Summoned Skull but book of moon solved that. Was over real quick. 8000-nothing 2nd: Lol, what can i say, i underestimated him and had a horrible hand. Lost to his 1800 beatsticks, somehow...lol, even though half my monsters are stronger than that. Go drawing 3 typhoons in a row! 3rd: Same as first, he couldnt handle my archfiends. :P -------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, my two friends lost in the first round, damn, that sucked, oh well, looked like i would have to win for us. :D -------------------------------------------- 2nd Round Me vs. Some ganster dude 1st Match: started off with a queen face up, waboku face down, and pandemonium on the field. This was a typical opening move for me, i would either play an archfiend soldier or queen on the first move, with a pand. This way, even if they destroyed it somehow, i could search for my vilepawns using my pand's effect and at least protect myself with waboku. Anyways, he set a monster face down and some traps i think and ended. I summoned a king, attacked his face down with it, which was a spirit reaper (gr...) but book of mooned it and attacked him directly. It kinda went downhill for him there, as he kept summoning monsters in defence only to have my king crush it. I think a pulled a fiber on him a couple times as i think he somehow managed to regain control. But it didnt matter, cuz with my fiber flips i regained control and I think i eventually got a jinzo out, effectively stopping all his traps too. He managed to get a TER out, but again, book of moon ownt it and he lost. 2nd Match: This couldve been the third match actually, but i cant really remember...all i remember that this was a really long round. Oh well, lets just assume he didnt beat me and that this is the second match. Anyways, i cant remember what he did at first but he got out TER early, using the ole metamorphis combo with a random level 1 monster. He was quick to suck in my face down monster (a fiber jar) and tried to attack me directly with some random beatstick, when i quickly reminded him that TER stops his other monsters from attacking as well (lol..bummer). I got rid of his monsters somehow, with rageki or darkhole or something...and attacked with one of my monsters (memory a bit foggy). Again, he couldnt withstand the might of my kings and my army of archfiends that i eventually brought out and i eventually beat him down. ----------------------------------------- 3rd Round This was it, if i won, i would be gauranteed at least third! Lol... Me vs. THE GUY THAT BEAT ME YESTERDAY!! AHHH!! 1st Match: I actually wasnt too worried about this. I think i only lost to him yesterday due to bad shufflage. Lol. I was right too...took quick control with archfiend soldiers and kings, and ownt his monsters with books of moons and rageki's lol....It was over quick. 2nd Match: Same as the first one basically...cept i was beating him down with jinzo. killed him with a cyber jar in the end! Wheeee 900 atk!! ---------------------------------------- 4th Round (semi-finals) Me vs. Damn-hand-disruption-deck-guy-ganster-man (lol, that's right! i dont like hand-D it sucks and its un-original!! boo to all those that use it >:( ) Not bad! I was at least 3rd. I probably shouldnt have kept on telling myself this as i didnt try as hard from here on...lol, oh well 1st Match: Dont remember much, but at one point, all he had was a face up Don. So i summoned a Queen and ended, thinking i would own it on my next turn. Ah! But no, he equiped it with a united we stand and ownt my queen, making me discard my fiber jar!! NooooooO! And my cyber jar and dd warrior lady had already been previosly removed, so i basically had nothing but spirit reaper to count on (and removal i guess :P) but nothing showed up and i lost 2nd Match: He played pot, forceful, and confiscation on his first turn. AHHH mass card advantage for him lol...it kinda went down from there, as i couldnt keep up with his don's and his reapers. I made a brief attempt to survive by reborning one of his reapers and setting my dd warrior lady, but he rageki'ed or sumthing like that, and i lost. ---------------------------------------- Oh well, i got third, not bad for my second tourney, and at least i got some packs. The prize was 2 packs, but they sold packs for 5 bucks each, and had a deal where they gave 2 packs of PGD and 2 of LOD for 10 bucks, so i worked out a deal with the stored owner and got the deal of 2 packs of PGD and 2 of LOD instead of my original prize of 2 packs of anything. The lod's both had super rares (not bad!) one was fiend skull dragon (meh, could use it for a metamorphis deck im planning to make later) and the other was reinforcement of the army (nice for trading to my friend who was a warrior deck). I started to feel the PGD packs to see if they had anything good (i have a theory that the thicker ones have at least supers, and apparently i was right about the lods) and was dissappointed that the store owner had dished out "thin" ones to me. Sighing, i opened one and got phaoroh's treasure (EWWWWWW!). Chucking it aside, i opened the other, to get.......*drumroll*.......RIng of destruCTion!!!! YAY!!! lol!!! it was 1st edition too!!! lol!!!! (so much for my theory) HAHAHA, good thing i came in third, as i noticed the first and second people werent pulling anything great....:D --------------------------------------- Time for props and slops: Props: For one of my friends and his dad staying with me till the end and giving me a ride home For the store owner for working out the deal with me For the guy i got call of the haunted from For not losing to that guy again Slops: For losing in the semi-finals For having to give my sis back her tribe, it helped alot (yeah it did, i just cant remember when, so i didnt mention it) For not find anyone who wanted my exodia's right leg or solemn judgement or freed (meh) comments or suggestions? send em too fooball2foozballz@yahoo.ca will probably never reply, but comments and such are appreciated (please put archfiend ownage in subject or will be deleted)
