Last week, July 10, thirteen boys, and one girl came to test their mettle against the four time champ, Jason Reeves, 26, of Brookhaven who has won every time he has entered. He runs the above deck and is brutal to beatsticks. The only time he was even challenged was when a fellow player got out Jinzo rendering his trap defenses useless. A Dark Hole while Sangan and the WotBF were on the field solved this problem and put him within striking distance of Exodia, which he pulled 2 turns later. The one girl, coincidently ishis niece, Rebecca Reeves, who runs a Ritual Summon Deck with Relinquished, Masked Beast, Black Luster Soldier, and Paladin of White Dragon. Even up against all odds of 13 boys taking turns bragging about how they were going to get an easy win over thisŠ. GIRL, she overcame and sat all but one of them down and shut them up. Her devious use of Mefist, Relinquished, and the Paladin plus the brute strength of Summon Skull, Masked Beast, and Black Luster Soldier made short work of the competition. The final duel was between her, and her own uncle, Jason, the man who had created her deck and taught her to play. She had him on the ropes with only 1600 life points left compared to her 7000, but as is the case in most Exodia duels where the duelist knows how to play his deck, Exodia made his appearance and ruled the day. The winner chose either cash or cards, the second place got the whatever the winner did not choose. The rest went home, sulking about how they had been trounced by the shear magnitude of this Reeves family tag-team.
