Here is how we play a tag team tournament. You and your partner start out with 12000 LP. As soon as it's gone, you lose (you also lose if either of you deck out). You only play 1 game, not a match. Also, the person to go last of the first turn is the first person that can attack. That is pretty much it. It was pretty easy today, except for the last duel, so here it goes. 1st Round: Me and Forrest (Outcasts) vs. Alex and Dalton (Spellcasters) Alex is Forrest's brother, so we knew exactly how to beat his deck. Dalton didn't do much. I got to attack first. We cleared the field somewhat with my raigeki and forrest's MST on Alex's swords and I got a direct hit in with Gemini. We didn't take any damage until we decided to chain Ring of Destruction to destroy Kycoo. But by then, Alex had no hand, Dalton didn't do much, and I was just waiting for the moment with my yata in hand and Airknight on the field. I made Alex not draw when I attacked with yata, and eventually, we won. 2nd Round: Outcasts vs. Drew and Conrad (Us) Neither of these two are very good players. Drew is usually the judge of the other tournaments (ones for points, unlike this one) so he doesn't get much experience, and the only cards he ever gets is LoB, which is hardly ever. Anyway, onto the duel. I got to attack first again, but it got stopped somehow. Conrad didn't do much, except for destroy monsters with Man Eater Bugs and Dark Hole. They just didn't have the skills to match up to me and Forrest. We took them out pretty easy, but they got a good amount of damage on us with a few Des Koala on me when I had about 5-6 cards in my hand each time. 3rd Round: Outcasts vs. Donald and somebody else (Amazoness Heroes) Donald is somewhat mentally retarded, I think, literally. But he is okay for how he is. I don't remember the other guy's name, but he is okay. They were the first team to actually pull ahead of us, but that didn't last long. I didn't get to attack first this time, Forrest did. They got us down a ways, I don't remember how, but it happened. I attacked their Cyber Jar once, I know that, but the rest of the duel was kind of hazy except for the fact that we won by my Jinzo and me taking one of their monsters with Snatch Steal. 4th Round (finals): Outcasts vs. Jon and Don (Winners) I didn't have too good of feelings about this game, but we did fine, although this game lasted an hour and a half. Fiber Jar went off 5 times: 3 were mine, 1 was Forrest's and one was Jon's. Forrest got to attack first again. I don't remember much about this duel because of the amount of time, but I used Morphing Jar on them 3 times, and Needle Worm once. They were both running Magical Scientist decks. I wasn't too afraid of them because of their inexperience with that type of deck. At the end, Forrest had Jinzo on the field, I Snatch Stole Don's Catapult Turtle and summoned D.D. warrior lady. Don had 5 cards left in his deck. I attacked, then launched all of them, even though they only had 2700 life points left. But, we won (their name did not suggest their outcome). It was a pretty good tournament. I got my 2nd Reflect Bounder, 3rd Gemini Elf, and a Luster Dragon. It was a pretty good day, although I didn't get anything in my tournament packs, again. Props: - Winning - Papa John's (even though Pizza Inn is better) - Mountain Dew (even though Pepsi Vanilla is better) - Stupid people - getting good trades - winning Slops: - taking too long for the last round - Not getting anything in my packs - Conon not being there Well, if you have any questions, comments, or need help with your deck, me email address is soccerduck89@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________ Enjoy a special introductory offer for dial-up Internet access — limited time only! http://join.msn.com/?page=dept/dialup
