hi my name is Elliot and
here is my tourney report (if you lose in the first round of the tourney you are
put in the losers bracket, and if you lose after that then you are sent home)
First prize: 40$ store credit and one card of your choice, plus two
boosters.
Second prize: Jack Squat.
Third prize: Jack squat.

Before the tourney I traded
three injections for a skull archfiend of lightning, three archfiend soldiers,
and 3 don zaloogs (wich i put in my warrior deck.) round 1 this was some wierd
kid named chase who really didn't have a deck theme, and really just sucked. I
owned him. But that's ok, here's how it went:
Duel 1
I lost the dice roll. He goes, plays dian keto, and
puts the celtic guardian in ATTACK mode! I had a hand fit for kings. I
charitied, discarded sinister and jinzo, duoed him, confiscated his summoned
skull in hand, sentried his labyrinth wall, reborn jinzo, and yata locked for
game.
Chase; 8000: yata locked (i attacked celtic with robo for 1000 after
he dian keto'd)
me: 6000 (delinquent and sentry)

2:
he had the best hand he could possibly have (for
his deck that is) he played harpies brother in attack with 3 malevolent
nuzzlers, and ends his turn. I play orc in attack, and put cylinder face down.
He ookazi's, and puts mystical elf in attack. He attacks orc with harpies
brother, I cylinder it back for 3900 damage, He ends turn. I change of heart his
brother, sack orc for skull archfiend, and attack for game. Chase:8000; 4100;
2400; 0
me 8000; 7200 (ookazi)
In between the first and second round I
traded a couple cards around, dueled this one cocky kid for keeps and I got his
Vampire Lord and Judgment of Anubis, too bad I couldn't put JOA in my
deck.>_<.Then I waited for the second round with my friend Jeremy.
Second round
Duel 1
I faced this little kid named jimmy or
something. he had an OK deck, but it kind of sucked. he played cards like barrel
dragon, buster Blader, and BEWD. my archfiend soldiers owned his neo, and then i
call of the haunted jinzo, sacked soldier for robo, and raigekied him.

2
he got lucky and pulled sorl, wich bought him 3 turns to get out his
barrel dragon, and he had Imperial face down, i couldnt take down his barrel
dragon with magics, so he won. I got so pissed off.
duel 3
I went first,
put witch in attack, ended turn. He summoned mechanicalchaser, put 3 cards face
down ,attacked witch, i searched for yata-garasu, and he ended his turn. I
switched 5 cards from my hand to my side deck, and did the most dishonorable
thing you can do. I got exodia from my side deck, game over for Jimmy.
Jimmy: 8000; exodia, he lost
Me:8000; 7250
Round 3 (quarterfinals)
This was against my best friend Jeremy. Jeremy has the best Valkyrion deck
you'll ever see. He also runs really strong warriors in his deck, so I knew this
duel was going to be tuff. Here's how it Went:
I
win the dice roll. I choose to go first. my opening hand is Kuriboh x3, pot of
greed, archfiend soldier, and mirror force. I use pot of greed, get dark
necrofear and breaker. I draw archfiend soldier in attack mode, and set mirror
force. Jeremy puts GAF in attack mode, sets 2 cards and puts united on GAF, and
ends turn. I draw Ring of D and set it. With nothing to fear, I summon breaker
in attack, and he chains with his own Ring of D. I end my turn. He flips his
face-down scape-goat face-up. his Gaf now has 6300(from United), he attacks(and
goes to defense), I kuriboh, he sets a card, and ends his turn. I draw witch of
the black forest, put it in attack mode, witch attacks his GAF, he waboku's. His
turn, he summons his own witch to suicide mine, i let him do it. he searches for
freed, and I search for robo. I draw forceful sentry and play it. I send back
his Freed. I decide to end the match, so I switch injection in side deck for a
Kuriboh . I summon Injection, and attack his GAF with injection. I attack one of
his goat tokens with archfiend soldier. He goes, passes. By now we are both
relying on topdeck. I draw the one, the only........... tribe infecting virus! I
discard my necrofear and call BEAST! i pay 2000 lp to raise injection's attack
up to 3400, and attack with all three for 6900 damage, and game. Good game,
Jeremy!
Round 4 (semifinals)
Elliot Vs. the store champ! (oh noooooooo!)
the store champ is a really good duelist that I've never been able to beat.
This chick frickin means business!
Duel 1:
She
goes first puts breaker in attack, I dicard for T-viruses effect and hit her
directly with T-virus , and she used delinquent and confiscation, but thats the
only damage that was done to her. She yata locked me in 4 turns, with the help
of my tribe infecting virus' discarding factor, don zaloog, the 3 hand
disrupters & yata-garasu (darn that crow!). her: 8000; 6400; 5400; 4400
me:8000; 6600 duel 2
the same exact thing happened
exept I fell into her trap by attacking her face-down sangan that she searched
for the crow with.
me: 8000; ??????(yata-lock)
her: 8000; 6100(at one
point in time i Know I hit her directly with Breaker) and that was the
tournament! now time for props and slops;
