back !!! Hello,
everyone. Yesterday was another regular
Dream Wizards tournament- $6.30 to get in, Single Elimination, 3 TP4 packs for
the winner, 2 for the runner up, and 1 for everybody else.
After trying for
a while a warrior deck, I came back to my first love fiend deck .Here’s my
deck- It’s changed it from fiend / necrofear to fiend disruption. Just before
the tournament I bought a pack of black sleeves, the only problem was that some
times cards were stock together and cause me troubles; some of my opponents ask
the judge to recount my deck thinking I was cheating with a 39 card deck. (my advice: do not buy the brilliant sleeves ….)

ROUND 1: JM (fiend)
v. Joseph (exodia)
Duel 1
Joseph: 8000-6000-5700-6200-6000-Yata

Poor Joseph, he didn’t
get a thing he needed => Exodia. I saw him duel some of his friends before
the tourney. And he was pretty good to get his exodia out. When I lock him he
didn’t want to try to deck me out …I did not take details notes, but I think
the 300 life point was ring of destruction on his spirit reaper

The second round
was very quit, first is play delinquent duo sending one piece of exodia in the
graveyard, after play painful choice, special summon Necrofear, change of heat
his monster for Jinzo => 4600 direct hit. And I finish him off the turn
after. It was nice to duel with him.
ROUND 2: JM
(fiend) vs. William ( Beatdown)

William begin
pretty hard by change of hear my archfiend soldier for his Jinzo, On this first
duel not so to say, he just continue on to hit me hard and fast …and after a
few turn I lost the duel … bouh….

On this duel, it
was who hit the fastest, unfortunally for me after I summon
my Great Maju Garzett, he use magic cylinder on it (for the one who say that
magic cylinder is outdated, yesterday I was blast back at least 3 time and it
makes me big damage, so it is still very good when play well), but my Great
Maju did the job and I win this duel.. ouf ..i
am still in play .

This third duel
was very fast.. I change of heart his breaker for my
great magu garzett => 3200 Atk
direct hit... Second turn I play a drop off (save a couple of time yesterday)
summon an archfiend soldier and hit for the game.
I was happy to
win this duel, especially after loosing the first duel and being not easy in
the second but my deck go thru
ROUND 3 JM
(fiend) v. David (exodia)
From round 3, it
was some very worthy opponents I have to face. Concerning David, he run a classic exodia deck: goal of the duel = hit him hard
and fast

Once again, great
magu Garzett did a good job and the drop off also forcing to discard exodia
piece (but he has also an exodia necross in his deck which worried me a little bit ... but any way nothing very exiting here. He
successfully exiled force my great magu Garzett allowing me to special summon
my necrofear.

On this one,
same strategy, but I couldn’t get in my hand any prenagators,
and he use a lot of deck thinning like 3 pyramid turtle, 3 nimbles
.. just to make short, he succefully
summon exodia .. I lost … bouhhh….

Once again, great
magu did a pretty good job, allowing me to RoD him for 3800 (the only damage I took)
( Sorry my guy, it was for the cause) and winning the
game. Other than that, he play some pyramid turtle again and some nimbles. I succeed
to do a 5800 direct hit (thanks to UWS) , after he
reborn on of my archfiend soldier but did not hit me with ( thanks to sinister
serpent), I snatch and steal my Archfiend soldier and tribute him for great
magu Garzett.
ROUND 4 JM
(fiend) v. Christian (Beatdown /hand disruption) (1/4 final)
I almost lost by forfeit, I was discussing with an other player with an Elma-exodia deck, I did not heard the judge first call. Christian is one of the top players of the shop. He was using a TER deck before but change for Beatdown hand disruption: I did not take the score so I ask Christian if he can give the score sheet at the end

This first round
was pretty hard and intense. Christian begin very hard he change of heart my
archfiend soldier, summon a GAF and has an other monster on the field (breaker
without the counter) and he hit me for 5400 lp (Ouch …)
after I successfully summon my dark necrofear and I finish him with guess who?
Sure great magu Garzett ( I sacrifice dark necrofear
for him)

This second
round was as intense as the first one, Christian is a very good player and each
move is important. During this duel, Drop Off saves me two times (one RoD and
one snatch and steal). What to say I was so in the game that I did not take a
lot of note but the last move save. I was having a drop off ready, my dark
necrofear on the field and he draw (smile), I activate drop off (and I smile) and
he drop the snatch and steal he was about to use on my Necrofear, leaving him
with an empty field … This round was very intense and I was happy to win .. Thanks
Christian for the nice duel …
ROUND 5 JM
(fiend) v. Sam (Beatdown /hand disruption number 3 of the shop) (1/2 final)
Since the ¼, I was the only one not having a Classic Beatdown /Hand disruption deck….I ask Sam to keep track of the score allowing me to focus more on my strategy

This first round
was quite funny for me. Sam begin hard like every Beatdown.
He magic cylinder my great magu Garzett..
And hit him hard
but fortunately for me when we were both top decking ( not
good, I don’t like that) I draw yata and lock him .. He
was very surprise thinking he has the lead in the duel (6000 at 1200). And he
decide to try to deck me out..very stupid move (just a
waste of time) I explain him I still have my monster reborn in my deck , my
call of the hunted and my dark necrofear so 3 chance to special summon a big
monster .. but he did not believe me ..Sorry guy .. but the crow with necrofear
over power you …

This second
round was as boring as the first one> Sam was taking too long to make a move
… for me no problem, I was in the lead with the LP count so at the limit of
time, I was sure to win .but thanks to drop off and great magu Garzett I finish
him off … thanks god !!!
