But maybe this time, a _MORE_ complete deck would work. ...ehem, or something like that. Well, I can't say much for any of my other decks, except for my Light deck and my Gradius decks... that I liked them, or cared about them, at least, but this is my favorite deck of all time. It ROCKS. Plain and simple. I like this deck. It's really awesome. It brings tears to my eyes... ;_; Yus. Indeed. For those of you keeping score, this deck is 75% up and running. $6 to enter We got PGD packs for entering Prize is... well, I've never won, so ;P Round 1: Voltaire(Eternal) vs. Alan(K-Force One's Joey) Alan's a good player. We played once before in tournament, and I won on an unlucky Fiber Jar flip on his part. Well... him and me, well... it seemed to be his Fiber Jar flips that screwed him up last time. Let's see what happens this week... especially with K-Force and A-1 running around all over this place... grrr... First duel, he doesn't really seem focused. He starts out with a couple magic or trap cards and 1 set. Okay, I storm. Imperial. MST. Dark Hole. Summon Kycoo. Attack. Early hit in. Good. He takes it out and attack me back. We exchange blows for a couple of turns. Hmmm... I try to take advantage of open fields and such, but I can't capitalize on most of the "leads" I had. Cannon Soldier clinches this one. Reeling from a loss, and with a low probability of winning, I try to go the safe route. He hits my monster... a Sangan, with a Spear. Mistake. Grab Mad Sword. Attack. He takes early damage like I did. He tries to storm. Imperial. He goes defensive. I upkeep and strike. Kycoos, and FMC monsters rule the field. I keep upkeeping until I flip Fiber Jar and attack him directly. Fiber Jar is cool. *twinkly eyes* Hmmm... there seems to be something to that. Fiber Jar doesn't agree with him. With that in mind, I play Fiber and Imperial early. But Dark Hole plus MST owns me. I go defensive a bit, and then not so much with Mad Swords. I'm surprised with a move when he's a bit closer to losing... he sets a monster. My field is open. Hmm...? Summon Mad Sword and attack. Thwap! Fiber Jar. Grr... doesn't matter... Special Summon Gilasaurus to protect me. Mirror Force down. He comes at me with a Kycoo. Change of Heart. Summon Spear Soldier. Game. Close. Close. Round 2: Voltaire(Eternal) vs. Brendan(A-1's Bones) Hmm... another person with a certain alliance sent to take me out, huh? No rest for a no-account guy like me... ;;-_- Gah. Well, apparently he took Froilan out... ...ehem, or something like that. But I can't rest if he took my buddy out. I must... defeat... him. I think? But I may not be good enough. ...ehem, or something like that. So, this one is testing his deck out versus mine. Burner. I see that pretty quick. Poison Mummy. WTF? Poison Mummy? Well, whatever rocks your world, right? Maybe, but I'll soon learn to respect that... just wait till the end of this. He plays defensively and keeps doing this and that. Nightmare Wheels... Lava Golem makes a guest appearance. Whoa. I didn't see my favorites, though: Just Desserts and Ceasefire. What's up with that? More Poison Mummies and other such creative burn cards. Binds end up freezing my forces for a bit, but eventually, I MST it. I end up MSTing, Raigeki Breaking and removing a lot of stuff. But I lose eventually. Now I know he's playing burner. As always, I let my opponent go first. I don't know why. I'm just like that. He sets 4. Heavy. I Spear his set. 100 damage to him, 500 to me. Yes, Poison Mummy again. >_< Annoying, anyone? I Raigeki Break and FMC through most of his forces. We eventually end up at a frikkin close game: He's at 800, with 1 set, 2 m/ts. I have 2400. Summon Mad Sword and attack. Dice Jar. We ask for Serf's judgment... apparently, if my attack brings him to 0, DJ's effect doesn't go off. Well, I had a 50-50 chance of winning if I rolled, so I was glad I didn't have to. More burnage. I hate Poison Mummies and the like. But I do run about a thousand Raigeki Breaks, and that annoys my opponents. I keep my Spears alive with that. That, of course, and other quick removal cards. Mirror Force comes to mind. But soon enough, I'm staring down a bad situation: I have a Sinister, a Fiber and a Spear. I set Sinister. He Dark Holes, and I Imperial. I saw 2 moves ahead. He MSTs it. Attack. I set Spear. He attacks, thinking it's Fiber. Then, I set Fiber, and it confuses him a bit, but we restart. He passed Battle Phase, so just sets 2 cards and a monster. Okay. I look at the lifepoint counter. 1800 for me, 700 for him. I pot. Graceful. Hmmm... Set my Call. My Beast!!! CRUSH IT!!! *ramming sound* Pow. I see my lifepoint counter rolling down by 400, and then again by 500. It's another damned poison mummy. I think... should I set another card? No. End. He Dusts the field. Then, Raigeki. 1000 attack is enough. Game. >_<-AGE!!! Tourney Reports: -Got 3 Nightmare Wheels. Dark Snake burner here I come!!! -Traded for 2 Messengers of Peace. Thanks, Marcus. I'm giving you a free Dark Magician next week. Cons: -Grrr... lost. 700 lp margin. ;_; I guess every one counts. ...I guess. -Voltaire Abaya(Eternal) -Thunderv11@yahoo.com -Note: Shout out to all you guys at A World of Books. Special shout out to "Three Star" Terrance. In just a few weeks, you took Donald, Ricky AND Serf down. You're a really good player man. Watch out for Necrovalley... you know what to do. ;P
