AND FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WANT TO SEE WHAT A REALLY GOOD DECK DESTRUCTION DECK LOOKS LIKE, EMAIL ME. It will be better in later sets, but right now it is extremely good. Yeah, I know, this is another beatdown, but of a much more controlled variant. I don't go for the fast and painful kill. I go for the more strategic advantage. That helps me to win. These tournaments are really fun. I like to go to them. They almost always have tournament packs and there is always good competition. I don't remember everything about this tournament because it is 2 days later. Okay. Here goes. It started off good. There were about 24 people here. I got a tournament pack and got nothing. Forrest pulled a Morphing Jar. We had 3 pulled at the last tournament. Anyway. I had to go against cody; conon had to go against don; and forrest had to go against his brother. 1st Round: Me vs. Cody Feltner (14) Cody is one of the kids I think will do very good in the next season (which is going to be here very soon). He has the strategy and deck, but he makes some mistakes and doesn't exactly run the best deck, but he has won in the past and that makes him good. Okay. I usually beat cody so I didn't really expect anything new. He traded away his Morphing Jar so I wasn't worried about that anymore, although I wasn't to begin with. In the first deul, I set some stuff early on and used Card Destruction. He had to draw 5 cards to my 2. I played Delinquent Duo and got rid of some good stuff. I don't remember what happened much now, but I removed 2 of his monsters with my 2 D.D. Warrior Ladies. I got Jinzo out later, and that was that. In the second deul, my D.D.'s dominated again (like they do in every deul. I can say that going against 3 D.D. warrior ladies does suck a lot). I just attacked with stuff like Spear Dragon, but eventually it was just a draw-and-play game. I ended up winning though. Also in this round, Forrest beat his brother and conon beat don. Round 2: Me vs. Cary Lewis (40) This is the lady that set up the tournaments originally. Nobody every really thanks her for setting them up, but they do appreciate it and I am pretty sure that she knows that. She has really good cards too, and she plays them good, but she just makes some mistakes like everybody does now and then. In the first deul, I beat her pretty bad because of my face-down D.D.'s. They are good in many situations. I got Jinzo out, but she destroyed it. I eventually won with a D.D. and she didn't have much that she could do, but she did well. In the second deul, it was pretty close. I only remember that in the end, it came down to her Jinzo with an Axe of Despair on it and another monster. She went to attack with 2900 LP to my 3 thousand something. Her Jinzo attacked my monster, but she didn't notice that it was.......Reflect Bounder sending her 3400 right back at her. Other than that, she played really well. Also in this round, forrest beat conon. 3rd Round: Me vs. Justin Heiberly (probably around 10-11) This kid has some good cards, but not that many. He might be considered new to some, but he has been playing for a while actually. I beat him rather quick. In the first deul, I got Jinzo out early and attacked. I also got out my Spear Dragon and a D.D. that finished him off in about 5 minutes. In the second deul, I got Jinzo and D.D. out really early thanks to Card Destruction. I beat him rather quick with those in about 7 minutes this time. Also in this round, forrest beat whoever he went up against. Round 4: Me vs. Forrest Gueterman (15) vs. Adam Siwek (40) This round was a round robin finals match since there wasn't enough people for 2 pairs. Me and adam both beat forrest so there isn't really much point in telling that deul since we both beat him. Adam will be doing really good next season too. He has a pretty good deck, but it is around 50-60 cards. But I don't have any changes for him if it works, which most of the time it does. In the first deul, I was getting a little worried because I was at 600 and he was at 6200. I ended up getting Jinzo out on the field and Card Destruction plus Delinquent Duo really hurt him. I won, but barely since I had to get past 2 of his Reflect Bounders. In the second deul, I got him down to about 5400, and he got me down to 1400. I used Premature Burial to get my Jinzo back, so I was at 600 again. I did win though, thanks to Jinzo, and D.D. warrior lady on his Amazoness Swordswoman. I won and got 3 tournament packs, but nothing in them. Also, later that day, I got Forrest's Morphing Jar from him so now I have 2 (TP2 and TP4). The next day there was another tournament that I won, and the winner got to pick 3 cards out of 7 packs (one for each set). I ended up getting another Ring of Destruction (that I will probably trade to Cody), another Imperial Order, and an Archfiend Soldier. Props: - getting Morphing Jar, Imperial Order, and Ring - winning 2 tournaments in a row - Mountain Dew (even though Pepsi Vanilla is better) - Papa John's (even though Pizza Inn is better) - Cary for putting on the tournaments - Falsebound Kingdom for being the best yugioh game out right now - School being cancelled for 3 days in a row Slops: - having to beat Conon in the second tournament - not getting anything in the tournament packs If you have any questions, comments, need help with your deck, or would like to see a deck that I have made/can make, email me at soccerduck89@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________ Let the new MSN Premium Internet Software make the most of your high-speed experience. http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-us&page=byoa/prem&ST=1
