Before the tournament started I was playtesting several decks. I playtested some different types of chaos. I played a local store-tournament with my burn deck and I tried out my zombies again, because I received Vampire lord several days ago from a trade with a friend. After some playtesting I decided to use this type of chaos deck at this tournament. Chaos Hybride Deck 17 monsters bls jinzo airknight 2x magican of faith 3x dd warrior lady tribe berserk gorilla fiber jar blade knight sinister serpent breaker kycoo spirit reaper 5 traps: waboku torrential tribute call of the haunted ring of destruction bottemless traphole 18 magic heavy storm mystical space typhoon mirage of nightmare emergency provisions swords of revealing light 2x scapgoat 1x enemy controller confiscation metamorphosis book of moon premature burial painful choice pot of greed nobleman of crossout forceful sentry change of heart snatch steal sideboard: royal decree enemy controller pyramid turtle v-lord 2x raigeki break giant trunade 2x sasuke samurai Mobius the frost monarch kinetic soldier exiled force emergency provisions 2x Enraged battle ox Fusiondeck: The usual guys,,, Well, I have been thinking about my side-board for several hours two days before the tournament took place. Because I just know that side-decking is the most important thing during a duel next to how your main deck is build. I played burn/meta not just to playtest the effect of it, but aswell to learn more about those different type of decks. That's why I decided to use Enraged battle ox. I just know he would come out handy. Mobius and sasuke are just plain anti-burn/stallage cards aswell to royal decree and giant trunade. I use 2x raigeki break, because I think he is very multi flexible. I can use it against ftk-decks aswell against burn. The Pyramid turtle/Vampire lord playstyle is against a deck with a lot of traps and monsterremoval decks. Well, I woke up around 8 in the morning and I tried to prepare my bag for the day. Luckly my mum bought some drinks that Timmie (my younger brother) and I could use during the long day. After leaving the house I just felt normal and I felt that I needed a bottle of coca cola before a serious match. So after waiting for a friend who came late at the Central trainstation in my hometown (Haarlem), I decided to buy a bottle and slowly comsume it during the trip to Alphen a/d Rijn. During the trip we did a little bit of chit chat and we discussed some issues of why there was priority when you summon Black luster soldier on the field, that he still could remove a monster after it was bottemless trapholed! After arriving at the Park, we were looking around where the tournament was going to be held. After seeking like little kids for Santa, we found the place. And there were already a lot of people trading, playtesting and maybe selling cards. I greeted some old friendly duelists that I know and I suddenly I just wanted to go for a casual match. I took my burn/meta burn deck and I playtested it against a plain chaosdeck. It's sometimes really cool to let some people know that you're playing with some decktype, but actually not using that decktype during the real matches. 1st match was against Xiao (Chinese guy lolz, like me) He played with some beatdown chaos deck..... I just remembered that I heavy stormed his traps very quick and that I took advantage because I had more cards and he was already topdecking in the third turn. 2-0 2nd match was against a Dutch fellow with glasses ( I am sorry I should have write down the names of my opponents) He played chaos/control with use of creature swaps. The first game was all mine because he had two tributes in his hand when I cut into his hand with forceful sentry. After a while I had Jinzo and Black luster on the field and I won the first duel. The second duel was crap, I sidedecked a enemy controller, and I drew a crappy first hand. After a while I placed down fiber jar and I didn't have much lifepoints. He played swords of revealing light,, so he killed me because of my fiber jar..... He won the second duel The third duel, I sidedecked back my confiscation. And I took advantage because of my mirage of nightmare, but I set my fiber jar again. He was topdecking, he topdecked change of heart and took my fiber jar and he renewed our game. After a while we were both topdecking again, but I had a advantage of 2 cards, but this time he had a clear field, I just needed a monster so I could attack him for 1200 direct for the win. So I topdecked my berserk gorilla and attacked for the win. 2-1 3rd match was against my friend Xun (Chinese aswell)... I know this was going to be a great match. I've alwasy lost my casual matches against him, he runned his scapegoats very well, so this time I was prepared gehehehe... The first duel was really close we were both around topdecking, but suddenly I gained field control with playing change of heart on his blade knight and attacked with blade knight and my breaker direct for 3600 leaing him with 700 lifepoints left. By using my ring of destruction on breaker I won the first duel. 1-0 I side-decked two cards... ENRAGED BATTLE OX.... I threw out a faith and confiscation. This time I used mirage of nightmare, but he played heavy storm on everything I placed facedown.... so we were beating each other again and again, suddenly I attacked my facedown fiber jar and we renewed our hands. I drew crap, but luckly with fiber jar. After a few hits on each other he attacked again my facedown jar. Leaving him a bad hand. I had forceful sentry, I cut into his hand threw back his snatch steal leaving him two death cards in his hand. After a while he was topdecking and I had bottemless traphole, and scapegoats face down. He attacked with tribe, so I had only 3600 left, he had about 4400..... I played chang of heart on his tribe, he played ring of destruction on it. leaving me for 2000 en he was cut down to 2800, I summoned enraged battle ox, knowing he had a scapegoat lying there, I attacked directly for 1700, He didn't activated it. He topdecked blade knight, but I bottemless trapholed it... I topdecked pot of greed and berserk gorilla and summoned it and attacked his scapegoats for the win.... 2-0~ 4th match was again against a Chinese boy. It was Leo, I played against him two weeks ago at a traditional tournament he ended 4th... He played anti-spell fragrance and cold wave. It was really irritating, because he played a beatdown deck with berserk gorilla's and dd assailants. Cold wave just couldn't let me chain my traps. Luckly I won the first match, but I couldn't remember how.... but I just did!.... The second he won, after flipping fiber jar several times. After that I just needed some monster support, ,,, I sideboarded Vampire Lord and pyramid turtle. My first was great, and I brought out Vampire Lord in my second turn. This was great, because he had to waste a torrential tribute for it. At last he was topdecking and he killed my lord with his berserk but I brought it back with call of the haunted.. after a while I beatdowned him with lord and breaker the magical warrior...... 2-1 5th match was against to Master Burner~~~,, He runned a great burndeck and he had defeated everybody, we were both sitting at table 1.... we had the best ranking,,, The first round was for him,,,,, no chance to do any great damage.... so it was again time to grab my side-deck. I changed 8 cards..... Royal decree, 2x raigeki break, 2x sasuke samurai, giant trunade, mobius the frost monarch, exiled force and a extra emergency provisions. That last card saved my lifepoints at the end. I luckly won the second match...... I thought he was going to burn me away, after I used magical scientist a couple of times.... but he couldn't do anything after that.. luckly.. 1-1 This devastating last duel was really enjoying, I took some time to shuffle my deck.... and I drew a perfect anti-burn hand... call of the haunted, painful choice, nobleman of crossout, sasuke samurai, mobius the frost monarch. I opened to do some damage and after his turn I summoned mobius, destroying two traps,, so it was a great advantage at that moment..... I attacked a couple of times but he gained control again.... so I summoned breaker to destroy his wave motion cannon.... but he reacted with a lava golem, that I luckly bottemles trapholed...... after his turn I responded with my call of the haunted and brought jinzo back,,,, with him leaving two face down traps, I attacked for the championship!!! and won the tournament!!!! Positive things: I really love enraged battle ox, vampire lord and my mobius the frost monarch!!! I traded another vampire lord for my younger brother,,,, I won the tournament.... Negative things: My younger brother and friends didn't make it to the top 8~~ Not getting creator out of my 2 boxes of Rise of Destiny!!!.... Beating a good friend of mine (Xun) My brother lost because of cheating (Tribe infecting virus on the field, discarded while calling a attribute while there is no target of that attribute, bringing back two tribute monsters with premature burial and call of the haunted!!!) Thank you for reading my 2nd report!!!!,, I hope you enjoyed... if you have any comments or questions please mail me or add me at msn messenger: Guan Her Ng guanherng_82@hotmail.com
