The idea of my deck is to use the Swords of Reveling Light to Stall the opponent and get the two Cannon Soldiers on the field to do major damage.

The tournament was single round elimination.

First Round:

Me Vs Omar

I defeated Omar quite easily. My low level monsters such as Cannon soldier took care of the match. I won two out of the three duels to win the match. After the match I found out that Omar did not have any low level monsters.

Record: 2-0

Duelists left: 8

Round Two

Me Vs Bryan

I lost the first duel when Bryan played his Cyber Jar and destroyed my Barrel Dragon and attacked me with his Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning for the win.

In the Second and Third Duel I used my direct damage cards to get past his defense. It’s a good thing he did not draw and play his Black Luster Soldier, or I would have lost.

Record: 4-1

Duelists left: 4

Round Three

Me Vs Mat (Beat down Deck)

This guy used his beat down cards such as 7 colored Fish and Mad Dog of Darkness to attack. It was lucky that using pot of greed I drew Swords of Reveling Light to stall him enough to get out Barrel Dragon and attack for the win.

In the second and third match he used his Trap Hole to destroy my Barrel Dragon and I lost very quickly

Record: 5-3

Even though I didn’t get a prize I am happy I got 4th out of the 16 players that showed up.
