Round 1
Kyle vs. Dan’s Friend
Kyle uses Chaos Rider Gustaph to single
handedly beat Dan’s friend, both times. Kyle wins.
Candice vs. Aaron
Aaron barely wins using a cheap equip combo,
including Sword of Destruction and Horn of the Unicorn. Aaron
wins.
Little Kid #1 vs. Dan
Dan doesn’t even hold back, and went all out
on a helpless little kid, it was total annihilation. Dan wins.
Little Kid #2 vs. Ethan
Ethan summons Dark Paladin quite quickly in
both duels, shutting down little kid #2’s Spell Cards. Ethan wins.
I got a little bit of damage from Ryan’s Ookazi’s, but
finally used a Ring of Destruction on Goblin Attack Force to finish Ryan
off. In the second match, Ryan got
me down to 1200 LP, and I had three spell and trap cards facedown, and I
attacked a Princess of Tsurugi (facedown), but then, I activated Barrel Behind
the Door to finish him off. I
win.
Round 2
Kyle got the by, since there was an odd amount of
people.
Ethan summoned all his mighty fusions, and I kept
activating spell cards here and there, and he kept negating them with Dark
Paladin, then he had no cards in his hand.
Hand advantage, baby! I
brought out my Jinzo with United We Stand and wiped him out. In the second match, I got out Gemini
Elf with Mage Power and United We Stand pretty quickly, and then Ring of
Destructioned his Manticore of Darkness to win. I win
Dan vs. Aaron
Aaron’s cheap deck, probably made out of Kaiba and Yugi
starter decks put together, was torn apart by Dan’s beatdown. He didn’t even inflict 1 LP of damage to
Dan! Dan
wins.
Round 3
I got the by, since there were three of us left and Kyle
already got a by.
Kyle vs. Dan
1st match
Dan opens up with a Goblin Attack Force, with United We
Stand. He set one card and ended
his turn. Kyle draws Pot of Greed
and plays it. Then, he summons
Chaos rider Gustaph, and equips 2 Malevolent Nuzzler to it, making it a 3000
attacker compared to Goblin Attack Force’s 3100 ATK, he attacks Goblin Attack
Force and removes Pot of Greed from play to increase Chaos Rider Gustaph’s ATK
by 200 and he attacked Goblin Attack Force. Dan is now at 7900 and Kyle ends his
turn. Dan plays HFD and Kyle
responds with Imperial Order. Dan
chains MST to it, and Kyle loses his Imperial Order and his two Malevolent
Nuzzlers. Dan summons his Spear
Dragon and attacks Chaos Rider Gustaph.
Kyle removes his two Malevolent Nuzzlers from the game to increase Chaos
Rider Gustaph’s ATK by 400, making him a 2000 attacker, so Dan’s Spear Dragon
dies. Dan is now at 7800. Dan sets a card and ends his turn. Kyle draws, and he plays Heavy
Storm. Dan activates Call of the
Haunted to revive Spear Dragon, but it doesn’t work because it is destroyed
instantaneously. Kyle Summons
another Chaos Rider Gustaph and attacks Dan for 3200, and he removes Heavy Storm
to increase 1 Chaos Rider’s atk by 200, so Dan takes 3400, leaving him at
3400. Dan draws Pot of Greed and
plays it. He draws Graceful Charity
and Monster Reborn. He plays
Graceful Charity and draws Jinzo, Mystical Space Typhoon and Kuriboh. He discards Jinzo and MST. He plays Monster Reborn on Jinzo. Then, he summons his other Goblin Attack
Force, and both of them attack Kyle’s Chaos Riders, and Kyle takes 1500 damage,
and he is now at 6500. Dan sets a
card and ends his turn. Kyle draws
and sets a monster face down and ends his turn. Dan draws, and he activates Raigeki,
destroying Kyle’s only defense. He
summons yet another Goblin Attack Force and attacks Kyle directly for 4700,
leaving Kyle at a measly 1800.
Then, he sets a card and ends his turn. Kyle summons Archfiend Soldier, and
activates Tribute to the Doomed on Jinzo.
Jinzo is destroyed. Kyle
attacks and Dan activates Ring of Destruction and Barrel Behind the Door. Kyle loses.
2nd Match
Kyle goes first, he sets a monster and two spells and/or
traps. Dan goes, activates HFD and
destroys Kyle’s facedown traps Trap Hole and Torrential Tribute. Then, he activates Raigeki on Kyle’s
monster, Kyle has no field left.
Dan summons Goblin Attack Force, sets a trap card and plays Mage Power
and United We Stand, making GAF a 4600 ATK/ 2300 DEF monster, he attacks Kyle
directly, OW 4600 direct damage on the first turn! Kyle is left at 3400. Kyle draws and plays his Archfiend
Soldier. He then plays Malevolent
Nuzzler on it and attacks Goblin Attack Force; Dan activates Magic Cylinder,
setting Kyle down to 800 LP. Then,
Kyle ends his turn. Dan draws and
sets a Trap, and ends his turn.
Kyle draws and sacrifices Archfiend soldier for Jinzo. Jinzo attacked GAF. Kyle ends his turn. Dan draws Dark Hole and plays it. Dan ends his turn. Kyle starts his turn and draws Hayabusa
Knight and attacks Dan; Dan activates his Face-down Trap Ring of Destruction and
that’s game.
Final Match
1st Match
I go first. I summon D.D. Warrior Lady. I set Torrential Tribute and Imperial Order. He summons GAF on his turn and attacks my D.D. Warrior Lady, I choose to remove both of them and I take 800 damage so I’m left at 7200. My turn, I play Graceful Charity and draw Jinzo, GAF, Mirror Force; I discard a Magician of Faith in my hand and GAF. I play monster reborn on GAF and sacrifice it for Jinzo. I attack Dan directly, score me= 7200 Dan=5600. Dan’s turn, he plays wave motion cannon and sets a monster. My turn, I draw MST and activate it on Wave Motion Cannon. Then, I summon my Tribe-Infecting Virus and attacked his facedown monster, and then Jinzo attacks him directly, leaving him at 3200. Dan draws Raigeki, plays it and summons a Breaker the Magical Warrior, attacking me directly. I activate Mirror Force, destroying Breaker. My turn, I draw my Hayabusa Knight and attack Dan for 2000 (2 attacks of 1000 damage). Score: me= 7200 Dan= 1200. Dan’s turn, he sets a monster and ends his turn. I draw and activate my Raigeki that I draw, and I attacked him directly for 2000, making that GAME!
2nd Match
Dan goes first, he draws sets 4 spell and trap cards and summons his GAF, and ends his turn. I draw, it’s Heavy Storm, I activate it, Dan loses all his spells and traps that he so graciously set for destruction. I summon my GAF and end my turn. Dan draws and sacrifices his GAF for Manticore of Darkness and then he attacks my GAF. Both of our monsters are destroyed, he ends his turn. I draw, it’s Gemini Elf, I activate Monster Reborn on his Manticore of Darkness and summon my Gemini Elf, he takes 4200 to his dome, leaving him at 3800 LP and me still at a slick, shiny 8000 LP. I set two cards (Torrential Tribute and Ring of Destruction). Dan starts his turn by drawing and activating Raigeki, I chain Ring of Destruction to destroy Manticore of Darkness and put Dan at 1500 and me at 5700. He summons his Battle Ox and I activate Torrential Tribute to wipe out his field. My turn, I draw D.D. Warrior Lady (I know, what a PERFECT draw!) and I summon it and attack him for the win.
