Round 1::: Matt Bishop  [Control] vs. Abhinav Bhardwaj [Chaos]

Game 1: I rolled, got a 6.  I go first.  I play Pot, Graceful, Delinquent, Don Zaloog [set], Waboku [set].  I drew Painful in my Pot.  Used it before Graceful.  He chose Sinister, I used Graceful discarded Sinister and something else.  Let him go.  He attacked I got rid of card in hand.  I then raped his Shining Angel with a Different Dimension Warrior Lady.  Needless to say I ggnore’d the first game.

Game 2: I didn’t side deck anything and went to game 2.  I shuffled his deck.  He shuffled mine.  We cut.  He went first.  He set 1 Magic/Trap and 1 Monster.  I drew.  In standby phase he activated Time Seal.  I pretty much got the same hand has before…  I didn’t get Pot but I did get Graceful, I got Painful, Monster Reborn, etc.  I Jinzo Controlled for the game.

1-0-0

Round 2::: Matt Bishop [Control] vs. David Greenspan [Chaos]

Game 1: We rolled I got 5.  He got 6.  He went first.  I drew 3 Mystical Space Typhoon in my starting hand.  Needless to say, I got gg’d right then and there.  He got off a Turn 2 or 3 Chaos Dragon with Witch of the Black Forest.  Ggnore.

Game 2: I got a better hand but it was full of traps.  He got the EXACT same hand as before.  I went first.  He got out another Turn 2 Dragon, removed my set Monster, Snatch Steal’d my Jinzo.  He beat me on Life Points.

1-1-0

Round 3::: Matt Bishop [Control] vs. Jamie Mendell [Control]

Game 1: I got an amazing hand.  He came back a bit, but I ended up Yata-Locking his hand.

Game 2: I got an okay hand.  He also got an okay hand.  He went first.  He played Pot of Greed.  Ugh.  I remember he got a Different Dimension Warrior Lady Lock out because I didn’t have anything over 1400 attack in my hand.  Luckily I drew Pot of Greed.  Got Snatch Steal & Monster Reborn.  I had Premature Burial in hand.  I took one Different Dimension Lady.  I used Reborn on Jinzo.  I Premature’d a Don Zaloog, Summoned Mystic Tomato.  Removed the Different Dimension Warrior Lady with mine.  Then beat his life points to a pulp.

2-1-0

Round 4::: Matt Bishop [Control] vs. Alexander Medrek [Zombies]

This kid was about eight years old.  He was the best kid to play YuGiOh that I had EVER seen.

Game 1: He got a Vampire Lord out a ways into the watch.  I used Tribe Infecting Virus to kill it.  Then Monster Reborn’d it.  I won with the direct attack on his life points.

Game 2: He got out a turn 3 Vampire Lord, I Snatch Stealed it.  I won the match quite quickly from that point as he had no hand.

3-1-0

Round 5::: Matt Bishop [Control] vs. Nigel Williams [Chaos]

Game 1: I won the match…I don’t really remember the gory details.

Game 2: I remember I lost and that it was late game.  I think he Snatch Steal’d Tribe Infecting Virus.

Game 3: We hit each other hit for hit.  I got out Jinzo and played Yata.  He had 2 Cards in hand.  I knew one was Sangan.  I played Yata instead of Don Zaloog.  I also didn’t notice at the time but I notice now that I had a Different Dimension Warrior Lady in my hand.  I would have won had I used that.  Because he had 3900 life points.  That would’ve made me 4-1.  but meh.  He won with Chaos Emperor Dragon/Sangan next turn.  He played Sangan.  Played Emperor.  Killed everything took Yata.  I draw my card, Mystical Space Typhoon.  Ugh.

3-2-0

Round 6::: Matt Bishop [Control] vs. Colyn Moody [Beatdown]

I lost the first game, but won the last two.  I cant remember the details.

4-2-0

Round 7::: Matt Bishop [Control] vs. Jason [Chaos/Polymerization/Dark Magician]

I was really surprised at his deck but he ran it really really well.  He beat me before the tournament started.

Game 1: I don’t really remember but I know I won.

Game 2: I don’t really remember but I know I lost.

Game 3: I remember that I did big damage on the last turn and won.  I asked his record.  He said 5-1 until now.  I new mine was 4-2.  I told him to take the win for his record.  I went 13 with the win so I still didn’t make top 8.  He didn’t either but he had a better shot then me.  He came 10th.  Damn regionals.

5-2-0/4-3-0

I played in two booster drafts after the tournament.  I lost the first in the finals and I won the second one.  I got a bunch of super rares.  No ultras, no secrets.  I got some more Berserk Gorillas though.  They’re always nice.  My friend played in three/four booster drafts.  He won one or two, and tied another.  I got 13 packs and he got around the same.  I traded in a Dark Ruler of Ha Des for my second booster draft.  I didn’t terribly need that.

Note to Kyle: You owe me $4.  $1 for winning round 1 and $3 for the Booster Draft :D

I placed 13th with the 5-2 record.
