Ok, this is my first tourney report,
so go easy on me. I have to tell you that most of the people here were novices.
They had like, 100-card decks! I knew that my revised beatdown deck would do
some damage, but i never expected to be undefeated (although some of the duels
were close).

Duel 1: me vs. some tall girl (i
don’t know what the hell this deck is)
This girl has a really big deck. It
needed revising. It was like a combo of a yugi and kaiba evo
deck.
Round 1: The first round of any
tourney for me is blurry, for me but i know i won. She was activating this card
and she never drew a monster.
Round 2: This duel was sort of like
the first except i had Mirror and Cylinder face down, but i never got to
activate them cause she never got any monsters out.
Duel 2: me vs. snotty brat (annoying
traps)
This guy had a never-ending fountain
of snot coming out of his nose. He also had a duel disk (stupid kid, thinking
he’s all cool...).
Round 1: This guy had annoying traps
like trap hole from a starter deck (cheap little kid). Then big daddy Jinzo came
out. Bye bye.
Round 2: He got all pumped up from
round one that he went on the offensive. I couldn’t wait until he attacked
(wink, wink, mirror force, wink, wink) He attacked, and i laughed. I used
Monster Reborn to reborn his Blue Eyes, played Graceful Charity and drew Gemini
Premature, and United, and then sacrificed Barrel and some other card. I used
Premature on Barrel and summoned Gemini with United and went on a slaughtering
direct attack (ouch).
The snotty brat had a brother, a not
so snotty brat, but more annoying. I got 2 Mad Dogs from this guy before the
tourney started.
Duel 3: me vs. annoying brother
(budget beatdown)
Round 1: This round goes to Mataza
equip with Axe. These guys slaughtered his LP. I first cleared his LP with
Nobleman and went on a double slaughter, 4600(Mataza can attack twice in the
same battle phase). He then activated Dark Hole, and i activate Magic Jammer,
sacrificing Barrel, hoping to Reborn 'em next turn. But he reborn it. He uses it
effect and gets H, T, T(yes!) and he’s ends. i summon Tribe and chose Machine.
Then i Reborn Barrel and attack for game.
Round 2: Wtf!!! The annoying brother
runs out the door and out into the store!!! I asked the snotty brat what he was
doing; a he said he was buying packs.
So im walking around in the store
and this really chubby kid (the kind that spill into two seats in a movie
theater) comes running up to me (panting) and asks for a duel. I never refuse a
duel so i say shur and i start to walk back to the tourney room. He tells me to
stop, i ask why, and he says it’s to far (its right around the corner '-_-) so
it’s me vs. Mr. Chubby in the toy section.
Duel 4: me vs. Mr. Chubby (another
novice, 100-card deck)
Round 1: This guy had a
burner/novice/warrior deck. This round was won by default. I go, setting a
monster and a trap, and i end. He goes, playing 2 Graceful Charities! I call
default and win(you can only have 1 graceful in your deck
Round 2: If you have looked at my deck carefully, most people will think that this round will be one by Tribe. If you've guessed it, you’re right. I owe this one to Tribe. He goes first, draws 2 cards ('-_-), and i tell him he can’t do that. He said ok and puts a card back. Then he plays Buster Bladder in atk mod. Wtf is this guy playing. i tell him he cant do that, so he plays a card facedown. It turns out me having 3 trap cards and a monster facedown, and him having Buster and a Don Zaloog i attack. He has 3400 LP cause of Mataza and Axe. It’s my turn and i draw Tribe. WooHoo! I summon and sac Harpies Bro. I reborn his Buster and attack for game.
I came out victorious in the end and the Toys 'R' Us guy there bought me a IOC pack, but all i pulled was some Archfiend crap. I go to these tournys weekly, so i can give the pubic these reports. Thanks, and look foward for another report next week! cya!
