Or third? Oh well Amount of People: not sure, probably round 30 or something This was a tourney with no losers bracket, and i did okay, considering this was my first realy tourney. My deck is some sort of zombie deck, and i changed it into a zombie spellcaster deck, which is way better. But that deck was after the tourney. Anyway, heres the deck. Monsters: 15, but I cant remember the other one monster... Fiber Jar Patrician of Darkness x2 Spirit Reaper La Jinn x2 (just for a bit) Magician of Faith Pyramid Turtle Cyber Jar Witch of the Black Forest Sangan Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer Sinister Serpent (borrowed by bro who didnt participate) Royal Keeper Magics: 19 6 staples (yeah, all six. count em and weep!(Sorry about that. I'm just happy i got Raigeki) Premature Burial Dark Designator Confiscation Delinquent Duo Forceful Sentry Swords of Revealing Light United We Stand Axe of Despair x2 Graceful Charity Mystical Space Typhoon x2 Book of Life Traps:6 Mirror Force Magic Cylinder Call of the Haunted Imperial Order Nightmare Wheel Magic Drain Well, as you can see, my deck has some hand disruption. Last time, I had a ritual deck, and I'm still on a budget because my allowance goes to my bank and some to yugioh. Plus, my dad's against me playing yugioh, and yet he brought me here. Anyway, i got to Card Emporium 10 minutes before the tourney. I got in and signed up. They gave me a pack of PGD for entering, and I pulled Lava Golem (which is amazing for my luck with packs). I was happy and people were gonna trade me for it and stuff. This kid was gonna trade me Fuscho Richie and Great Dezard for my Premature Burial, but I turned him down. This other dude offered me Injection Fairy Lily, Kycoo, Mirage of Nightmare, and Sprit Reaper for my Magic Cylinder, United We Stand, and Hayabusa Knight. I did it later after the tourney. I practice dueled this one kid, and he owned me both times. Then he began acting all cocky and was like, if you get paired with me, you're gonna die. Well, on to the report. Round one: Shawn (me yay!) vs. bye Well, I got a bye. Not too much to say here. Round two: Shawn (me again) vs. the cocky kid (beatdown) This is the kid I got owned by in a practice duel. After i talked to the judge dude about the second round pairings, he's like, lemme put you with... blah blah (forgot the dudes name) come here. all of a sudden, the kid turns his head and I'm like, oh God... Duel one: Well, I got my Patrician/ Spirit Reaper lock (courtesy of Ryan P.) early in the game and i had imperial order acitve for a while. This of course was after i Raigeki'ed. He lost card advantage and was soon drawing all magics. Needless to say, I won. Duel two: Basically the same, almost literally. He got more hits on my with his Spear Dragons and Kycoos, but that's about it. His expensive beatdown fell to my only 3 singles bought deck... heh heh... Round three: Shawn (me) vs. some little kid with a warrior (not the speedy kind with Maurading and Freed) beast deck Duel one: I thought he had to pretty good to get past the first round, especially at his age. He played Sogen, and tried to build up his army of Warrior Dai Grepher and Master Kyonshee and Battle Ox... I got him in my Patician lock and it was easy after that. Duel two: This time he built up his army thanks to me and my crappy draws. My opening hand was all magics, and I drew nothing after that cept for a sprit reaper which something happened to, I can't remember what though. He then had 5 monsters on the field, with Sogen. Then he attacked my face down Sinister Serpent and finished me. Duel three: Basically duel one. Man, I get a lot of same things... Round 4: Shawn (me) vs. Chan ("stall") Duel one: This was awesome. I asked him wat kind of deck he ran, and he said stall. well, it turned out to be like a yata lock deck. He got the yata lock on my in a couple of turns... Duel two: I got my Patrician lock and negated his swords with Imperial Order and kept attacking his life points. i soon won. Duel three: This one was close. I got a lot of hits on him with Patrician and stuff. He got Injection out and was about to use her effect but I cylindered and only did 400 to him, but that was done so I could stall. I then flipped up my face down Magician of Faith and brought something back but i can't remember what. He then Change of Hearted my Magician of Faith and attacked me with his Injection and My Magician of Faith for the game. (He activated Injections effect). Overall, it was a good tourney. I traded my United and Cylinder for Kycoo, Mirage, and Injection, I'm gonna trade my Lava Golem for a Jinzo, and I walked away with my deck improved big time. Here it is. Well, these are cards I'm looking for, and if you live in Minnesota and know a place (around Minneapolis) that sells yata garasus for cheap, email me! Yata Garasu, Ring of Destruction, and Don Zaloog are the cards I'm looking for.
