Match 1:

TiM_FeRNo vs. Richard

Round 1

This kid was new to the whole tournament thing.  1. He played by no tributes for monsters level 6+.  2. He didn’t have much experience in dueling so I don’t want to get in to it with this part of the report.

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 7500 – 7000

Richard:  8000 – 5700 – 3800 – 200 – 0

Round 2

Again, I do not wish to get into this because he was inexperienced and I don’t want to embarrass him (no offence)

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 7700 – 6900

Richard:  8000 – 5700 – 4600 – 3200 – 0

Winner:  TiM_FeRNo

Match 2:

TiM_FeRNo vs. David (he uses blue sleeves)

Round 1

If you read my past reports then you’ll remember that the last time I dueled David he quit after I beat him.  Now he is back w/ his old Relinquished deck.  He started the duel by laying 2 cards face down and a monster in defense mode.  I retaliated by Feather Dusting his cards and used Nobleman on his face down Penguin Soldier.  Also, I played Gemini Elf in attack mode w/ Axe of Despair (total: 2900) and attacked.  During his turn he TTTD my Elf and did 200 damage to me (I think it was a monster).  On my turn I played Raigeki and attacked w/ another Gemini Elf.  Next, David Dark Holed the field and attack w/ GAF.  On my last turn I brought back both Elves w/ Pre-Burial and Monster Reborn.  Also, I played a UWS on one of the Elf and attacked him for the win.

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 7800 – 5100 – 4300

David:  8000 – 5100 – 3200 – 0

Round 2

This game could have been worse.  It ended up w/ him bringing out his Relinquished and absorbed my monster for the win.

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 6100 – 4650 – 3650 – 2850 – 1050 – 0

David:  8000 – 6550 – 5650 – 4950

Round 3

In this game he didn’t do much damage as the last game.  It ended w/ me pulling out my Skull and blasting him for the win.

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 6100 – 6000 – 4200

David:  8000 – 7000 – 5900 – 2500 – 0

Winner:  TiM_FeRNo

Match 3:

TiM_FeRNo vs. Devon

Round 1

Devon is experienced and has won past tournaments, so I knew since the get-go this was going to a hard fight.  This round started of with me playing Fiber Jar face down.  On his turn he pulled a TTTD and attacked me w/ Kycoo.  On my turn I pulled a Gemini Elf and attacked his Kycoo.  This game went back and forth until I pulled Raigeki and attacked w/ Jinzo for the win!

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 6200 – 5900

Devon:  8000 – 7900 – 5600 – 3700 – 2300 – 0

Round 2

I started this round and summoned Gemini Elf in attack mode.  He used Change of Heart and set a monster face down.  He ended his turn by attacking me w/ my Elf.  This time I won the game and the match by summoning my Summoned Skull and finishing his life points.

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 6100 – 5400 – 4700

Devon:  8000 – 7600 – 6900 – 5000 – 2500 – 0

Semi-Final Match:

TiM_FeRNo vs. Scotty (current champion) (he uses green sleeves)

Round 1

Scotty uses one of the best warrior decks you will ever see.  He won the tournament last week after beating me in the Semi’s and beating Mike (a friend of mine) in the Finals.  This time it was personal.  I started the match by laying a card face down.  He Dark Holed it and attacked me with a Hayabusha Knight w/ Fusion Sword thing.  On my turn I played the ultimate 3-card combo, Hayabusha Knight, Scapegoat, and United We Stand.  This combo gives Hayabusha Knight an extra 4000 attack to have a total attack of 5000!  Add that to the fact that he can attack twice.  Before I attacked, for safe measures, I Feather Dusted his cards away.  He had a Mirror Force waiting for me, but I got rid of it.  Finally, I finished the game off with my powered up Haya and won the game on the second turn (kind of a long story for such a short battle).

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 5500

Scotty:  8000 – 4000 – 0

Round 2

This round Scotty made 2 good moves.  One was the 2500 damage he did to me through Ceasefire.  The other was the army of warriors he summoned against me, witch were blasted away by Mirror Force.  I finished this game with my GAF and Jinzo.

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 5500

Scotty:  8000 – 5600 – 3700 – 2900 – 600 – 0

FINAL MATCH:

TiM_FeRNo vs. Dominique

Round 1

He uses Relinquishes to absorb my monsters and attack me with them.  He also uses Barrel Dragon.  This round is hard to remember.  All I know is that he finished me w/ Relinquished.

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 5800 – 1800 – 0

Dominique:  8000 – 4200 – 1700 – 1600 – 600

Round 2

Looks like his Relinquished failed him this time as I triumphed over him w/ my Jinzo equipped with UWS.

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 6600 – 4700 – 4600

Dominique:  8000 – 7500 – 7400 – 5400 – 0

Round 3

This was it!  The final match!  After this, there would only be one!  It was a back and fourth match with plenty of ups and downs.  With both took major pops in the beginning and plenty of small shots near the end.  Finally, when all was said and done, the victor of this vicious battle was… it was… it was… it was… who was it again?  Oh yeah!  It was I!

TiM_FeRNo:  8000 – 5900 – 5100 – 5000

Dominique:  8000 – 4400 – 4300 – 3200 – 1300 – 800 – 400 – 0

Results-

-1st – TiM_FeRNo

-2nd – Dominique

-3rd – Scotty

Note:  Best Day Ever!  In my 3 packs of Pharonic Guardian I pulled Reaper on the Nightmare, Mirage of Nightmare, and… RING OF DESTRUCTION!  But… Since I already had one I traded it to Scotty for a Yata-Garasu.  That’s probably the biggest trade I ever made!  Also, I traded Mirage of Nightmare (I had an extra one) for Confiscation.

Props-

-Me for getting through David again!

-Me for winning my third tournament.

-Me for pulling my second secret rare since Jinzo.

-Richard for not giving up.

-David for not quitting.

-Scotty for trading me Yata.

-Scotty for getting Ring of Destruction.

-Dominique for being a good sport.

Slops-

-Andy for not coming.

-Mike for not coming.

-Ron for not coming.

-Matt for saying I stink (boy is he wrong).
