Subject: Tag team takedown part 2, Kevin Kruse, The Arena, Salina, Kansas,Hand disruption Tag Team Take Down Part 2- b4 u read i will warn u, i'm windy This the second tag team tournament we have had so far. The first one sucked and was ran poorly and I did no good. Well, I was with the same kid this time as last time but I made his deck for him so it was awesome and he had the skills to use it great so it was a deadly combination. His name is Kristoff (Christoff) sorry I don’t know how to spell it dude. The rules were each team had 12000 life points. Each player take turns going and if your opponent attacks u when you have no monsters on your side of the field your teammate can block for u w/ one of theirs. You can also play traps for each other and crap like that. That’s all I can think of for now. Anyway here are our decks. My deck: 40 cards 16 monsters 1 Jinzo 1 Yata-Garasu 1 Injection fairy lily (this card didn’t make it thru the whole thing, details later) 2 Don Zaloog 2 Spirit Reaper 1 Sangan 1 Witch of the Black Forest 1 Sinister Serpent 1 Exiled Force 2 Gemini Elf 1 Spear Dragon 2 Mystic Tomato 20 magic 1 Monster Reborn 1 Change of heart 1 Raigeki 1 Harpies Feather Duster 1 Pot of Greed 1 Dark Hole 1 Delinquent Duo 1 The Forceful Sentry 1 Confiscation 1 Snatch Steal 1 Premature Burial 1 Graceful Charity 1 Mirage of Nightmare 1 Nobleman of Crossout 1 Creature Swap 1 United We Stand 3 Mystical Space Typhoon Trap 4 1 Imperial 1 Ring of Destruction 1 Mirror Force 1 Call of the Haunted My partners Deck: 40 Cards Monsters 1 Jinzo 1 Yata-Garsu 2 Don Zaloog 2 Spirit Reaper 1 Sangan 1 Witch of the Black Forest 1 Sinister Serpent 1 Gemini Elf 2 Spear Dragon 1 Goblin Attack Force 1 Kuriboh 2 Mystic Tomato Magic 1 Monster Reborn 1 Change of Heart 1 Raigeki 1 Harpies Feather Duster 1 Pot of Greed 1 Dark Hole 1 Delinquent Duo 1 The Forceful Sentry 1 Confiscation 1 Premature Burial 1 Graceful Charity 1 Creature Swap 1 Swords of Revealing Light 1 Mage Power 3 Mystical Space Typhoon Trap 7 1 Imperial Order 1 Ring of Destruction 1 Mirror Force 1 Call of the Haunted 3 Waboku You might see some sort of a resemblance, duh, the secret to doing well in a tag team is to use the same strategy, u wont accomplish anything if ya don’t. I cant count how many people said yata wouldn’t work in a tag team. Whatever. Here’s how the first round went. Round one Team Zaloog (just take a guess who that is) vs. Two Heads Well, what can I say about this, not much. The best card I saw that they played was like ceasefire. They played stuff like despell and remove trap and blue eyes. U get the picture. Moving right along. Round 2 Team Zaloog vs. Team ??? (forgot name) Kinda like the first one but they just older. One was 15 and one was 14. People tend to get a little cocky when they find out their opponents are 15, me, and 12, Christoff.*points finger at Team ???* No one thought we would make it and all laughed when they heard I was w/ Christoff. Yeah, we’ll see who gets the last laugh. Anyway, they sucked too. Sigh, the first two rounds were cakewalk. Will it get harder or are we too good for everyone? Who knows, to find out SCROLL DOWN! Whether u think my sense of humor is gay or not we moving on! Round 3 Team Zaloog vs. Team Ecstasy Jeff was our opponent, and another guy. Jeff is good but he got stuck with a bad teammate. He had been gone for 2 weeks, soccer practice, and never had a chance to get a good partner. Everyone was taken. They put up a good fight for a while but you’re only as strong as your weakest link. Ok, it went me, that guy, Christoff then Jeff. We had them both open and then I attacked guy (don’t know his name if u haven’t noticed) with yata so he couldn’t do anything. So it went to Christoff automatically then he yata’d Jeff going to me. Thus the cycle going on forever until the stubborn people’s life points got down to zero. Round 4, Now its single elimination Team Zaloog vs. Team Injection Now we play Colby and Steven. Colby is supposedly my friend, last week he asked me to spend the night. Well, we were in the duel and he played monster reborn on my injection and I forgot to get it back. You would think a friend would give it back when he noticed he had it. I didn’t realize it was gone until after the tournament was over. Always count your cards! Always. Anyway, we beat them pretty good. In one duel I think it was the second I played injection with an united we stand powering it to 5400, yata being the other monster on my field, hehe. Later in the game Christoff reborned Colby’s to do some damage then Steven reborned mine to kamikaze. Us both losing 2000. In the end of that duel it was who got more damge done with injection and who did the most damage to themselves with injection. We prevailed in the second game. As well as he first one I didn’t mention. Not knowing I was without my injection I went on to the next round. Could I win without my precious Injection? Who knows. Read on! Round 5 Team Zaloog vs. (not worthy of being mentioned) Now we play the cockiest, thinks he’s better then everyone, good for nothing, cheater, cheater, cheater, cheater and his little brother. This guy is always looking for a way to counter my yata, to beat my yata, to get rid of my yata. He thinks the only way I can win is my yata. Hey loser, its hand disruption, the deck doesn’t rely on the yata. So we start playing the first game and he cheats a couple of times, he even helped his brother, cant do that. Things really started to heat up then. So I begged my friend Adam to watch the whole game paying attention to every detail to prevent cheating. Cheating went down then. Unfortunately Adam left for a minuteand he tried cheating. I dragged Adam back and refused to end my turn or do anything until he got back. The games took a long time because we had arguments a lot and he tried to cheat. Half the game was arguing. He sux and his brother too. We won the game easy really. On to the next. Things were going smoothly for me and Christoff. They even side decked stuff to supposedly “counter” yata. I saw an enchanted javelin even go in the decks of their’s. Lame. He even played card destruction to try to get rid of my yata. Lame. The game was easy and I had a witch and yata on my side and attacked the wide open loser. I pointed right at him and said I attack u for 1300. When he realizes its over for him he tries to say that I pointed at his brother and I attacked him and all this boul shit. Adam was there watching so I had witness. I knew it was smart to have Adam watching. Even someone who hates me was watching and he says I was right too. So loser complains to the judge and tries to do or say anything to accuse me of cheating. He even accuses me of being unoriginal. Whatever, only 3 of us here play hand disruption. I found out later from Todd that he accused me of using magician of faith and trying to get a magic out of his graveyard. I DON’T EVEN PLAY THAT LAME CARD! Whatever, moving on to the final game. Round 6, the winner takes all Team Zaloog vs. The Grumpy Old Men Both of us were undefeated, literally. Neither had lost a match let alone a single game in this tournament. The grumpy old men, Matt (in his early 30’s also the judge) and Gerald (in his late 20’s) play a beatdown. A plane jane beatown. Each with like 3 goblins, 2-3 spears, 2 marauding captains, even giant trunades, all that stuff. Everyone is afraid of them. Everyone. They have money to buy all the cards they want. All the great ones. People are intimidated of them, scared to play them, nervous, like they think they are unbeatable. They not. My only problem was my partner who was nervous and scared about playing them. He was saying oh well, we will atleast get second. He worried me. I tried to jam it thru his head to not be scared or nervous or we will lose. I’ve have repeatedly told him in the beginnig to not be too cocky, not be nervous, be confident! We didn’t do this well and make it this far to roll over and die. We obiviously had skill I told him to be here. Well, the first game had finally started. They both started their attacks with a marauding and goblin each nailing us for 7000. On their second turns of course. I saw fear in Christoff’s eyes. We had gotten down to 1000 real fast with them at still at 12000. We made a little comeback. Getting them down. In the end it was Gerald using change of heart on Christoff’s Spear Dragon attacking any of our face downs didn’t matter to win. Crap, this sucked. I asked my partner if he was was nervous and he said he was a little scared. This was a bad situation for us. This is why they are so good, intimidation. I begged him to focus and preached to him and everything. Said everything I could. Now we went on to the next game. This game was going good. I started with the forceful sentry and played it on matt. His hand had the following, marauding captain, harpies feather duster, bazoo, a goblin and I don’t a an injection. I got rid of the captain leaving harpies because Christoff had a waboku in his hand. So he would set it down then matt would waste duster with christoff activating it. Christoff started singing gay children songs and it got annoying. He knew it too, but it kept him from getting a nervous breakdown getting his mind off the fact hes playing matt and jerry. Whatever it took. The game was going great. We got our game going and dominated the second game. Moving on to the third. It started going back and forth between us teams. I was open for attack and it was Gerald’s turn. He played marauding captain summoning a Gemini elf along side with it. Gerald attacked me and the hesitant Christoff blocked it with his facedown witch. Nothing happened, their attack and defense are both 1200, whew. That may had saved us the game really. Gemini killed it and Christoff searched for a spirit reaper. Oh yeah, I used change of heart on matt’s injection and played united we stand on it to power it up to 5400 and nailed them for that much. I was drawing nothing. Nothing but magic and traps. But so was Matt. But Christoff and Gerald was. Christoff had a tomato down and jerry attacked it and he got a sangan. Later searching for a don zaloog I think. when Matt went and had nothing again and when I glanced at christoff’s hand the greatest feeling took over me. I knew the game was in the bag. He had a change of heart and a raigeki and a monster in his hand and spirit reaper down. They’re life was really down there too. When it was christoff’s turn he played raigeki and put down spirit reaper. It was Matt’s turn and he drew no monsters, his was killed by raigeki and it was my turn. I drew a monster and reborned one and we won!!!! WE WON!!!! This was awesome. We won!!!! Props: u for reading this far winning the tournament, my first in over a year my deck for being 30-0 Christoff beating loser Slops: to loser for being a loser to steven for taking my injection (I will get it back even if I have to steal it back) For the tournament lasting 5 and a half hours Hate mail, fan mail, whatever my email is kukruser_2007@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________ Enter for your chance to IM with Bon Jovi, Seal, Bow Wow, or Mary J Blige using MSN Messenger http://entertainment.msn.com/imastar
