I arrived at the tournament 15 minutes early. I paid my entree fee (5 bucks) and got a PGD pack. My brother got a Legacy of Darkness, and my friend got a Labyrinth of Nightmare. My brother pulled a Shadow Tamer and I laughed at him. HAHAHA. my friend got a Bazoo, HAHA (new rulings) and I got a Mirage of Nightmare. I traded my bro Mirage for a Spear Dragon, because I already had a Mirage in my deck. We also saw my friends friend, and his little brother. On to the tourney!
First Match: Jake (Mega Beatdown) vs. 4-eyes (Beatdown)
Duel 1:
He went first, and set a monster and a trap. I did the same thing on my turn. His next turn he just drew and that was it. I drew Feather Duster and used it to destroy his Mirror Force. I flipped my Newdoria, and NoC'ed his WotBF. I summoned Kycoo, and They both attacked. He went and played SoRL, and set another card. I drew Heavy Storm, and used it to destroy his cards. I summoned a GAF and they all attacked and that was game.
Duel 2:
He went first again and summoned his Lily, and set two cards. I played fissure, summoned a Spear dragon, and attacked, but it was Magic Cylindered. I set a card, and ended my turn. He Summoned a GAF, and went to Attack, but I used Book of Moon. I tributed for Jinzo, and Premature Burialed my Spear dragon. I poked with spear dragon, then attacked Directly, with Jinzo. His turn, he reborn his Lily in Defense and played SoRL, and started laughing hysterically saying "ha this is my only ha defense ha-ha" I was frightened so I decided I needed to Finish him off.. I used MST on swords, Summoned Newdoria, and used Monster Reborn on his GAF. What else can I say? That was the end for this insane glassed wielded freak.
Victor: Me
After I beat the kid, I saw my bro and my friend had won. I also saw my friends friend whose named Anthony, is 7, beating down a 10 year old kid. I walked over there and Anthony attacked with a Opticlops but in response to the attack his opponent uses "trap hole". I started laughing, and everyone said you can't do that obviously. The kid started making a bogus excuse, then realized he was wrong and started sobbing like a little sissy girl. I almost started crying also, because of the laughter. I don't know what was so funny about a 7 year old kid making a 10 year old kid cry over a Yu-Gi-Oh game, but if you've seen it happen before, you know what I mean.
Match 2:
Me (Beatdown) vs. Anthony (Make 10 year-olds cry deck)
Duel 1:
This match I got a terrible hand so I actually had to set cyber jar. He attacked it just to my luck, he got 4 monsters, and I got none. He attacked with all of them and I only had 3300 left. Luckily for me, I drew a spirit reaper to delay his attacks. Finally I got Raigeki, used it, then Tributed Spirit Reaper for Jinzo, Monster Reborned his 7 colored fish, equipped Jinzo with united we stand, and pretty soon, it was all over for Anthony.
Duel 2:
This match the same thing happened with Cyber Jar again, and then I Dark Holed, and Annihilated him. Nothing else to tell.
Victor: Me
Once again I got done early, and started walking around. My friend got eliminated by a kid who beat me last time I was here. But my brother advanced with me, to the semifinals.
Match 3:
Me (Beatdown) vs. Roger (Machine Beatdown)
Duel 1:
The first match of this duel went buy quickly. I summoned GAF, set Rod, and ended my turn. He summoned Mechanical Chaser and used Limiter Removal, and Attacked, but I blew the Mechanicalchaser up with RoD. It was my turn, and I summoned a Spear Dragon, and Monster Reborned the Mechanical Chaser. He lost.
Duel 2:
After I beat him the first duel he started saying "every time I make a deck, it does good the first to rounds, then it starts to fizzle" Once again, frightened by my opponent, I wanted to get the match over with. I summoned my GAF again, and he Snatch Stole, then summoned his Mechanicalchaser. He attacked with both. I set a WotBF and played SoRL. He drew HFD and played it. He Summoned a Gemini Elf, Monster Reborned his Jinzo he threw out with Graceful Charity, and his Gemini attacked WotBF. He then said that's game after attacking with Mechanicalchaser and Jinzo with Limiter Removal. But then I said "no" I took Kuriboh with WotBF and used Kuriboh on the Jinzo. Unfortunately my triumphant move, didn't last and he just attacked worth Gemini Elf for the duel.
Duel 3:
He won.
My brother was also eliminated in the semi's at the hand of the kid who beat my friend. We left and didn't watch the finals but I bet The kid who took out my bro and friend won it. He said alls he wanted was cases for his cards, if he won, but the store was out of cases! Hahahaha!
