The Squirrels work well in this deck and helped me place in my first tourney ever.

The tourney at T&T is really big and has some very competitive people.

So this is my first tourney and first report so bear with me please.

My friend Taylor went with me to this tourney and we got there with some time to trade and sign up.
I traded my barrel behind the door for an Airknight, which I put in my deck after the tourney. I had been wanting one of those for a long time. I also made some small trades that are not really worth mentioning.

1st Round: Me vs. Bye (boo) I wanted to play!

2nd round: Me Vs. Some kid (sorry, I forgot your name) He had a Necrofear deck with only one Necrofear

Game 1:
Basically I beat him down using my squirrels offensively and defensively as well.
Game 2:
Same as first, except I Yata Locked him at the end.

Meanwhile Taylor got beat by a little kid.

3rd round: Me Vs. A kid named Steve (beatdown)

Game 1:
This was the longest duel I have ever had; he used fiber jar three times! We were still in this game when everyone had already finished their matches! Their was now a group of people watching us and I was getting nervous. It was close but the squirrels came through for me in the end.
Game 2:
He side decked some stuff and I never saw what they were but he beat me this game by the infamous Yata Lock.
Game 3:
This game was so close! And there was still a group of people around us so I was shaky all the way through the match. We were going neck-and-neck exchanging hits back and forth . He had just hit me directly with Don Zaloog and took 2 cards off my deck. It was my turn now. I thought I was going to lose, I had no monsters on the field and then I drew Lily! I had only united we stand in my hand he had 1 card face down in the magic/trap place. This was it. I summoned Lily, no trap so far, I equipped Injection with UWS...no trap yet. I was at like 3500 life points and him at 2800I said Lily attacks...he is looking desperately at his hand to his field and back to his hand. There was no trap. The attack took exactly 2800 off his life. Everyone in the group yelled. He slammed his hands on the table and his eyes got all watery I offered my hand and said good game and he just walked off...The quarters started immediately.

Quarters:
Me Vs. Some Kid ( Sorry I’m not very good with names)XD
Game 1: I took this one pretty fast.
Game 2: He got me this time by swarming me with a bunch of monsters.
Game 3: I took this one also (squirrels rule)

Semis: Me Vs Jason
So it was Jason Vs. Jason in the semis, I think he was the best person competing in the tourney that day. He ran a sp33d Warrior Beatdown.
Game 1: He won with his warriors.
Game 2: This was closer than the first one, he reborned his jinzo, snatched my spear, summoned marauding captain and special summoned Don with maraudings effect and killed me. But he was cool and didn’t brag and said good game.

I was out. I managed to place in my first tourney ever so I was happy. I got 2 PGD and pulled.....................CRAP.
