From: Daniel Tate (Slim Shady) Deck Title: The “ Deck that will do for know” deck. Store: All Sports Cards Plus Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin 10/04/03 Prizes: 1st: $25 Store Credit 2nd: $15 Store Credit 3rd: $10 Store Credit 4th: 1 booster of choice Bear with me, since I left my original beat down deck at my aunt’s house and had to but these cards together from my binder to try to make a successful beat down deck, so don’t think this deck is crappy. Also, because this is the first time I’ve ever submitted something to pojo (you guys RULE!). Monsters: 17 Twin Headed Behemoth Cyber Jar Injection Fairy Lily Sinister Serpent X Force Sangan Spirit Reaper x 2 Guardian Sphinx Witch Magician of F. Hayabusa Knight Penguin Soldier Kycoo Gemini Elf Summoned Skull Jinzo Magic: 17 Staples x 5 (No Duster) G. Charity F. Meteor Crush MSTx 3 Malovolent Nuzzler P. Burial SORL Scapegoat Delinquent Duo UWS Nobleman of X-Out Traps: 9 Magic Jammer Magic Cylinder Trap Hole (underrated IMO) Waboku Torrential Tribute Acid Trap Hole (see Trap Hole) 7 Tools Imperial Order Mirror Force Solemn Judgement Round One : Slim Shady (Me) vs. Joe- Simochi / Princess Burn Match One This kid was pretty new to yu-gi-oh, but his deck was very unique. I had trouble drawing monsters, but I had cards such as FMC, United, Sphinx, and Trap Hole in the beginning. I drew no monsters for 3 turns, while he brought out his Simochi , Princess, and S. Wishes combo. I drew Hayabusa and a UWS with pot, giving me an evil idea. At the end of a turn, he pulled out 2 wishes and a Cure Mermaid, so I’d lose 1500 LP on his next turn, so I activated Scapegoat on his Main Phase 2. On my turn, I summoned Haybusa with UWS and attacked. I would’ve lost on his next turn since I had 1200 left, but I was lucky to win. Me: 1200 Him: 0 Match Two: He had to leave to go to his aunt’s house ( pick up my deck on the way why don’t ya!? :) Round Two: Bye I was checkin’ out the competition in the 20 minutes of Round Two. A stupid kid named Kyle (newbie rich kid) traded a Spear Dragon, Mage Power, Sasuke Samurai, and 3 Exodia Pieces for a Yata Garasu to another kid, so he was pretty darn desperate for one. He also traded his first edition Exodia Head and a Goblin Attack Force for a Japanese Slifer. He has a lot of brain power, eh? I was happy to see a classmate named Tom who had to get a knee surgery there for the first time in a while. He pulled a Ring out of a PGD by selling a Red- Eyes to Kyle for $6 and buying that pack with it. :) I did a little bit of trading myself. I traded 2 Nimble Momonga’s for a Cyber Jar, Graceful Charity(the one in my deck list), and a Thunder Nyan Nyan. I need it for the light deck I’m working on. I also traded a Kazejin for some Japanese card that just looks cool.; ) I dueled Tom for fun. We were both at 1800 from Dark Snake syndrome, which he MST’ed. He flips Dice Jar. I roll first and get a 6. He rolls and get’s a …………….6. I rolled a 4, and he rolled a …………….5! Dang it. Round Three: Slim Shady vs. Kyle – Stupid newbie with no deck theme and all the good cards. On his first move he sets 1 m/t and a defense monster. I play Raiegki, but he uses MST. I tell him MST doesn’t negate Raigeki’s activation, so an argument ensues. The call is in my favor. On my turn I Reborn his Gemini (???) just destroyed, summon Hayabusa Knight, with UWS, and attack for 7300. Then I set M. force and Judgement. He uses Change of Heart on Gemini, to offer for Jinzo, which I Judgement( another huge argument.) After he gets proven wrong, I summon Bazoo, and I reborned Jinzo, just for fun and attacked. Him: 0 Me: 4000 Match Two: After about 6 turns, he plays Exchange with Yata with in his hand. I give him 7 Tools and he gives my Yata (like I said, a lot of brain power). I practically destroyed his hand with by Reapers and destroyed him with you know what. After the match, he was balling like a baby when his mommy came and he started making her feeling sorry for him. Him: 0 Me: 8000 Round Four: Slim Shady vs. Jeff- man with Princess Deck. This guy just perfected his gain deck, so it was a challenge. He played Necrovalley, he used Ultimate Offering to Set 4 monsters, and ended after MSTing it. I summoned Hayabusa with nuzzler and attacked 2 of them. One was a UFO Turtle, for Princess, and a Cat of ill omen. (lets him take a trap from his deck to his hand.) He flipped the other 2 monsters, also Cats, and set 5 cards. I attacked, but used a Ring. On his draw phase he activates Solemn wishes, inflicting 500 (I’m at 4900 by the way), Imperial Order, and Gravity Bind!! :( He also flips Needle Worm, taking out, X- force, Raigeki, Skull, Injection, and………………Jinzo!!!! CRAP! Then, I die in 5 turns. Him: 9800 Me:0 Match Two: After pulling off the evil Princess, Wishes, Imperial, and Bind combo, he uses Drop Off on……… Jinzo! I draw a cylinder, which is not like he attacks anyway. Him: 10…Something Me: 0 Props: Getting a Nobleman of Crossout in my 4th place pack. Kyle ripping himself off badly. : p Me killing kyle. :) Getting a Nyan Nyan. My mom for driving me in her new Corvette. My mom taking me to McDonald’s afterwards. McDonalds. Having Fun Jeff’s cool deck. Slops: Kyle. 7 upside down. Kyle. Report by Daniel Tate Email address: cjt8rn@aol.com
