Scientific Cheesiness by Batman aka Huy Collector's Corner, Oakland, CA 10/18/03 8 players, $5 entry fee, first place gets choice of 5 boosters of PSV/MRL/LON/LOD/PHG Monsters (17) Sangan Witch Amazon Archer x3 Cannon SOldier x3 Catapult Turtle x3 Scientist x3 Morphing Jar Fiber Jar Cyber Jar Magics (19) Pot Graceful Reborn Premature Raigeki Dark Hole Last Will x3 Reasoning x3 Snatch steal Soul Exchange x3 Scapegoat x2 Card Destruction Traps (4) Cylinder Jar of Greed Waboku Ring Of Destruction This deck was weeks in the making before MFC was even out. As soon as MFC came out I immediately got my hands on the last 3 cards to make this deck complete: 3 Magicial Scientists, by trading my japanese needleworm and $2. FOOLS! They had no idea the power they were giving up. They had no idea what fury I would unleash upon the store with their seemingly harmless cards. Muhahahaha. Today, I make history, by becoming the first Scientist deck to enter a tournament at Collector's Corner. The first match was: Batman vs Mike He ran a warrior deck. With Exile and Throwstone units, along with using Warrior Returning alive and Premature, Call, and Reborn to bring them back, He pounded me with one monster removal after another. I tried to stall many times with a defensive Catapult, but he exiled/throwstoned it every time. Because of the bad draw, I was finished. I sidedeck in some Gravity binds, but didn't get to use them as I busted out the 1st turn kill on the second round. The crowd went into shock and awe. This was probably the first time they had witness the incredible power of science. Third round started off with Mike taking a huge chunk off his own lifepoints by ramming his United+Axed Hayabusa Knight straight into my Magical Cylinder. 4400 damage right there. The rest was cake, as I finished him off with Cannon Soldier launches. Batman vs Louis I finished him off with a first turn kill in the first round. Whoa I would hate to be him at that moment. Imagine just sitting down and the first match is already taken in less than a minute. I could tell he was scared. Next match took a little longer, but eventually Scientist and Turtle hit the field, launching him out of the tournament. Batman vs Tony This first match was a horrible hand. Never even close to bringing scientist out and I couldn't even set up any defense. He eventually beats me down with oldschool beatdown monsters like Summoned SKull. Second match No turtle/scientist combo this round, but the victory was even sweeter. I had total control with Gravity Binds, Wabokus, Scapegoats. He could attack only when I allowed him. It was like guiding a blind person off a cliff. He gets Cylindered. He gets Ringed. He gets a 2500 Ceasefire. In the end, I had Cannon soldier on the field and launched 2 waves of scapegoats at him. Batman has made history. The first scientist deck to enter a tourney at Collectors Corner. The first scientist deck to win a tourney at Collectors Corner. Milk Delivery Force 1 was impressed with Batman's unique victory and recruited Batman into their stupid "biting off K-Force 1" clan. Props to: Ricky - For being one of the first to have a scientist deck like me. We elite! Milk Delivery Force 1 (Please note that this was David's idea and I am strongly opposed to biting off other people) David - Milkman Betty - Catwoman Huy - Batman Phil - Superman Kevin - The Cheerleader Rob - Hulk Slops to: Jonathan - for saying scientist decks ruin YuGiOh. You know you wanna build one u lyer. Jason - for being annoying as hell, and copying my sleeves, and being jealous of my scientist deck. Questions/Comments: HKisBatman@yahoo.com
