First duel:
Me vs. Kyle (Direct damage deck/Heal yourself deck)

Match 1:
The first duel of the day was pretty interesting, I don't
see too many direct damage decks nowadays around NJ and this
one was ok. He discarded a Marie the Fallen One into his
graveyard pretty early on and I mis-timed my Kycoo's attack
and so he was gaining 200 basically the whole duel...
Oh, and somewhere along the way I filled my side with goats,
that he never attacked... and a Gearfried, that he Spellbinding
Circled, and a Swords... so I was goat-locked!! I couldn't
play my Monster reborn to get back Jinzo or my Yata! ARGGGG!
Finally (when the swords wore off) I rammed two goats into an
Opticlops to take 3600 damage myself but freed up spots for
a Jinzo/Yata lock (when he was up to 8600) and took him down:

Me: 8000 - 7400 - 6700 - 4900 - 3100
Him: 8000 - 7000 - 7.2,7.4,etc... --> 8600 - 4200 - 4400 - 200 - 400 - 0

Match 2:
Our first duel took so long that right at the beginning
time got called on us.... right after he got a Lava Golem/
Swords of Revealing out....
Me: 8000 - 7000 TIME CALLED
Him: 8000 TIME CALLED

Second Duel:
Me vs. Connor (Legendary Fisherman/Water deck)

Match 1:
This was the first time I'd fought a LF/Water deck, and it
was pretty cool to duel against. He had 3 Umi, 3 Tornado walls,
it was very annoying. Thank goodness there was no goat-lock
in this match :) Things progressed pretty evenly at first, but
then I got the upper hand when I finally got a MST and took out
UMI which toasted his (current) tornado.

Me: 8000 - 5650 - 5400 - 5100
Him: 8000 - 7400 - 5350 - 3300 - 1000 - 0

Match 2:
This match I had the advantage the whole time, except for this
one turn when he flipped a penguin soldier, bounced my two guys,
equipped the Penguin with Mage Power, Sword of Deep Seated,
Malevolent Nuzzler, Umi, his Starboy, and something else....
suffice it to say this Penguin was at 4700 ATK! Luckily I had
a waboku down ;) And next turn even 4700 ATK doesn't stand against
a Raigeki!

Me: 8000
Him: 8000 - 5900 - 1100 - 900 - 0

Third Duel:
Me vs. Brian (old school Beatdown with a Yata and some other surprises)

Match 1:
I don't have an exact record, because I didn't keep score, but it was
back and forth for awhile, Jinzo on Jinzo, Yata on Yata, Card Destruction
on Card Destruction, sheesh... Eventually I squeaked by with the win.

Me: Something
Him: 0

Match 2:
It was shaping up to be another awesome duel, but stupid time got called
again! ARG!!

Me: Doesn't matter, TIME CALLED
Him: see above ;)

Fourth Duel:
Me vs. Bryan (running a Magical Scientist deck)

Match 1:
I somehow managed to stay on top of things and keep him from getting
out his one turn kill... It took awhile...
Me: something in the 3000s
Him: 0

Match 2:
Yeah, he went first, I went second, then he won....
Me: 0
Him: something (close to 0)

Match 3:
This was another long duel, and guess what, time was called AGAIN!!
ARG!!!
Me: Something
Him: something TIME CALLED!

Finals: (top four from previous four rounds)

Fifth Duel:
Me vs. Brian (the first Brian)
Match 1:
Another great match... our decks are very similar... I managed a win.

Match 2:
We both side decked stuff ;) Ha! He managed the win that time...

Match 3:
I was getting fatigued... I just wasn't up to my full potential anymore...
It was a tough duel, I think he Ring of Destructioned me twice (because of his
Fiber Jar)... I messed up one turn and I think ultimately it cost me the duel
(though he did have like 5500 or 5600 at the end)

Me 0:
Him: 5500 or 5600

That was it for me, but I had a blast!!

Props:
Getting Third (for me, that's stellar)
Getting to duel a water deck, and defeating a 4700ATK Penguin Soldier :)
Beating a Magical Scientist deck at least once
Someone letting me borrow a Spear Dragon (see below)

Slops:
Messing up in that duel in the finals...
Losing my Spear Dragon the week before...
