Hi, Pojo.  I’m Billy.  I run a clown control / deck/hand disruption deck.  This is my first tourney report, so it is a little off.   So here it is and how it did.  So look and enjoy.

Before the tournament I pulled a United We Stand!   Also, before the tournament, I traded two Spell binding Circles to George for a Delinquent Duo.

Match 1:  Lockdown vs. Starter Deck Kid

Duel One: This kid was new.  I have never seen this kid before, so I didn’t know what to expect.  Things were going my way until he surprised me with a Lord of D. / Flute combo for the win.  I was so ashamed.  I vow for revenge.

Me: 8000 – 6700 – 5900 – 4900 – 4400 - 0

Him: 8000 – 5400 – 4100 – 2900 – 3900 – 3100

Duel Two: Since I knew he played a Lord of D. Combo deck, I prohibited Lord of D. and Flute of Summoning Dragon.  I also didn’t get a monster for 11 turns in a row, but I had Swords out the whole time, so it was OK.

Me: 8000 – 7400 – 6900 – 5200 – 5100 - 4100

Him: 8000 – 7750 – 5950 – 4150 – 4050 – 5050 – 4250 -  3450 – 2650 – 1850 – 950 – 450 – 0

Duel Three: This was your average “clear the field and attack directly” duel.  It was over for him quick.

Me: 8000 – 7000 – 6500 – 5500 - 4500

Him: 8000 – 6000 – 4500 – 0

Match 2: Lockdown vs. Beatdown Exodia

Duel One: This guy was tough, but he played Fiend Mecacyber!  He ran a truly interesting deck.  This guy was tough, but I won with Dark Elf.

Me: 8000 – 7000 – 5000 – 4100 – 3100

Him: 8000 – 6000 – 2000 – 1100 – 0

Duel Two: I learned he plays Relinquished as well!  I tried to kill it but it came back!  Also he plays with mad gaining life points.  He won this game mainly because of his Nimble Momonaga attacking directly and attacking with the two legs of Exodia.

Me: 8000 – 5300 – 3500 – 3400 – 2400 – 1400 – 400 - 0

Him: 8000 – 6000 – 1600 – 2100 – 2600 – 1800 – 2300 – 3300 – 3800 – 2800 – 4300 – 5300 – 6800 – 8300

Duel Three: It was just a slaughter on his side.  My Muka Mukas went through his army fast and swift.  The final blow was from a Muka Muka.

Me: 8000

Him: 8000 – 4400 – 900 – 0

Match Three:  This was against a good friend and well known duelist George Hotz.  I knew he ran a beat down deck, but I wasn’t sure of what he would do.

Lockdown vs. Mad Speed Beatdown

Duel One: He was getting mad speed.  He pummeled me with GAF and Gemini Elf.  I could only watch as his army massacred my own.

Me: 8000 – 5800 – 5300 – 700 - 0

Him: 8000

Duel Two: I was winning.  I had Muka Muka on the field and a Dream Clown.  I was in the lead when he used Raigeki, flipped MoF, reborn GAF, Premature Burial Nimble Momonaga, and to just annoy me, equipped his MoF with a United We Stand!  I was humiliated and defeated.

After the tournament I traded my Gate Guardian for an Imperial Order!  Then George and I looked at my deck and made extreme changes to it.  It is now a mad speed Clown Control deck.

Props:

  1. United We Stand
  2. Imperial Order
  3. For getting farther then I have ever gone before
  4. Delinquent Duo
  5. My new mad speed deck

Slops:

  1. People who steal
  2. People who cheat
  3. My brother who quickly fell out of the tournament
  4. My brother for getting a Masked Beast
