I still couldn't get the proper cards for the machine deck I planned for, so I went back so my most successful deck ever; my light. Really, I'm waiting for Mythological Age... which will be released with Struggle of Chaos in the upcoming LOD. "Goatkiller" Asura, Volt Girl(MY Geminis) and Heavenly Knight Perseus will help this deck along. This deck needs some power, though. :p >_< One more Cyclone Laser to go! Come on... just one more for my machine deck! $6 to enter TP3 at last. I don't know what the prize is, ;p Round 1: Voltaire vs. Nick Heheh. Nick. Unlike me, he defeated one of Upperdeck's "Professional" players... back at the Mall Tour. He's also a very good player, and is pretty well-known at A World of Books. Meh. I probably belong in the beginner tourney, but it's less fun to tell stories about losing to half-witted little kids. ;p First round, I'm feeling strong. Jeff aka Bandit Keif is standing pretty close waiting for his next duel, so I'm kinda nervous about my performance. I'm a fan of his, you see. Well anyway, I start pretty early by taking one of Nick's Geminis' attacks personally. A little bit into the game, I take a little more overflow damage. Soon, I'm staring down a Jinzo, a Kycoo and a Gemini. My only creature is Bazoo, and with Kycoo out, I can't do anything. Probably would've been my last card if I had not drawn... Raigeki. I must've been wearing some kind of version of the Millenium Puzzle, 'cause it came just when I needed it. BAM! Gone. I start an offense, and take him out. Pure luck! Pure luck! But will my luck last? I won the first one, so that supposedly makes it harder for my opponent to win... seeing as he has to win 2 in a row. My first move, Graceful. Then I make him discard 2 of his own. What luck! Out of the 4 cards in his hand, I make him discard... Raigeki. Whoa. I play Hysteric, as I myself am hysteric. But he change of hearts it, summons Sangan, and after attacking, tributes both to gain a whole 1000 lps. Damn. He soon whittles me away. This one's pretty quick. He hits me quick. I hit him back with a big-boosted Bazoo, Mage Power and his own effect. But then... Change of Heart. I'm not disheartened, because face-down I have a Mirror Force. Holy Barrier- Mirror Force, of course, not the 306 Evil Barrier- Mirror Force... well, ehem... he starts counting. He removes 3 more... That's 2500+900+2000... 5400. He asks, "That's game isn't it?" I reveal Mirror Force. He uses 7 tools. Gah! Tourney Highlights: -Got to play Serf today. He's good. Definitely. -I watched many good duels today. I'm overwhelmed! Cons: -Meh!!! Will I ever get a single win? Guess not... -Voltaire Abaya(Eternal) -Thunderv11@yahoo.com -Note: Meh. Just another Cyclon Laser and it's complete. A Barrel would be nice, though... But it's probably just going to be a beefed up version of this next week. Meh.
