Hello, all fans!  This weekend, I decided to try something different instead of using my Darkness Beatdown Deck.  It was always fun to seriously win tournaments with that deck, but competition was beginning to bore me (except for Broc, Tony, JP, Jeric, Michael, William, and Justin).  I built this deck out of my trading cards, which I didn't have too many good cards for burners, but here it was:

Monsters: x20
1x Magician of Faith
1x Rainbow Flower
1x Man-Eater Bug
1x Jinzo #7
1x Penguin Soldier
3x Princess of Tsurugi
1x Cyber Jar
1x Dream Clown
2x Giant Soldier of Stone
1x Mystical Elf
2x Wall of Illusion
1x Witch of the Black Forest
1x Aqua Madoor
1x Cannon Soldier
2x Dancing Fairy
Magics: x16
3x Chain Energy
1x Change of Heart
1x Dark Hole
1x Mask of the Accursed
1x Monster Reborn
3x Ookazi
1x Swords of Revealing Light
2x Toll
1x Tremendous Fire
Traps:
1x Call of the Haunted
1x Gravity Bind
3x Just Desserts
1x Minor Goblin Official

It is not too bad for a start.  It is supposed to be a Burner/Darkness Deck, but I only have but a few Dark monsters.  I still need Raigeki and Mirror Force for the deck, but as most of you know, they are some of the hardest cards to get.
Well, the tournament started like every morning..... mind if I take that back?  I got there at 11:00, which was on time, but the store was still closed.  I asked Mike, one of the employees, why the store was not yet open.  He told me that no one knew where Tod, the store owner, was.  We waited outside the store for almost an hour, but didn't bother me.  My good friend, David, was there finally, as well as Jeric, William and Justin.  We got in the store and..... well, I better not bore you with the details.  Besides, I am sure you guys are ready to hear of what happened in the tournament.  One last thing, though, is that I bought a Tournament Pack 2 and these were the cards I got:
---Sky Dragon Lv.6 ATK:1900 DEF: 1800
---Spirit of the Books Lv.4 ATK:1400 DEF:1200
---Dharma Cannon Lv.2 ATK:900 DEF:500
Not very exciting.  The worst part was that there was no rare :(.
Okay, I am sure now that you just scrolled down to my tournament report, so I will save you the strength of moving your hand and give you what you want:

Round One: Me vs. Tim B. (Anything Deck)
This kid just threw together anything he likes and had a deck is what I assumed.  He started with a Dreamsprite in attack mode with a Malevulent Nuzzler and an Axe of Despair equipped to him.  It was my turn and I spoiled his Dreamsprite with Mask of the Accursed.  He tributed it for a Gyakutenno Megami (let me know if I got the name wrong) in set position.  I change of hearted it, summoned Cannon Soldier in attack mode, attacked with both of them directly, and launched my Witch of the Black Forest (which I set last turn) and his Megami.  He drew a card and passed, then I summoned Rainbow Flower and finished his life points.
The second match didn't last long, either.  I started with Swords as he started with Harpie's Brother.  I set down Princess of Tsurugi and was ready to deal damage, but it was Change of Hearted and tributed for the Megami again.  I broke his spirit with Cyber Jar, pulled up some monsters, and drained his life points again with Mask of the Accursed.  Score: 2-0
Round Two: Me vs. Andy B. (Light Deck)
He was a pretty good duelist, considering that he has been playing for only two weeks.  I started off with two Chain Energies, as he brought out Neo the Magic Swordsman.  He kept attacking with some success, but had to pay to attack when Toll came into play.  I kept playing defense while depleting his life points every turn, until his life points gave out.
The second match was a little better for him, but Toll was once again brought out.  I kept bringing up monsters like Giant Soldier of Stone and kept stalling and taking out his life points.  I eventually brought out Cyber Jar, which helped, and he had a bigger army.  At his second main phase, he tributed two of those monsters for the Blue Eyes White Dragon.  I was a little suprised by his move, but kept up with my strategy.  Eventually, I pulled up two Chain Energies and got him so low that if he played anything, the game would be over.  If he attacked, the game would be over.  He attacked, anyways, and flipped over Princess of Tsurugi, finishing the game.  He almost had me, too.  Score: 4-0
Round Three: Me vs. Chad Green (Beatdown)
This kid said that the deck was an "anything deck", but I found out later in the game that it was a beatdown deck.  I started with two Chain Energies, but one of them were Dust Tornado'ed, which kinda sucked, considering the amount of cards he kept playing.  I had Dream Clown waiting to be switched to destroy, but was destroyed itself.  Oh well... at least I finished him off with Just Desserts.
The second match was more interesting.  He started with Swords of Revealing Light, and the same went here.  He got Summoned Skull out, but was affected by one of my favorite cards: Cyber Jar!  The duel continued on, and I eventually pulled what I call the "Death Clock", or Minor Goblin Official.  After I activated it, Princess of Tsurugi won the match for me.  Score: 6-0
Round Four (Semi-Finals): Me vs. Tony R. (Beatdown)
This match, I didn't have a good variety of cards to use, so I didn't have a good match.  I had Chain Energy activated, but it didn't seem to worry him at all.  He brought out Gemini Elf and won with it.
On the second match, I had a better hand than him for sure.  He was without a monsters and he kept putting down cards on the M/T zone.  That was great for me because it made my Princess of Tsurugi happy.  He lost about half of his life points, but I was eventually back on the defensive side.  He kept losing life points and was wiped out with Jinzo #7.
Round three was so quick that my Minor Goblin Official was effective like poison from the start.  Score: 8-1
Round Five (Final Round): Me vs. Jeric (Trading Card Deck)
You may wonder what a Trading Card Deck is, and the deck only consists of his trading cards.  It is meant to be not that strong but very creative.  He under-estimated what my deck could do, and lost because of my Princess of Tsurugi, Jinzo #7, and Gravity Bind for protection.  Thanx, Chain Energy!
The second match had the same effect.  Chain Energy was burning his life points faster than the speed of me opening a pack (and I don't take long to open one, too).  Eventually his life points were depleted by my Rainbow Flower.  Great game, Jeric :)  Score: 10-1

I got first place and won a Spirit of the Breeze in a booster pack, a WEAK MONSTER!!  Well, thanx for reading my tournament report and Happy Dueling!!! :)
