Wow, mother's day! It was a beautiful day. No clouds were hovering in the sky, and people were just chirping, especially the moms because it was is their special day.  As the best son in the world, before I went to duel this gorgeous Sunday afternoon, I had the previlege to buy my mom some flowers, and also a nice card to be given to her.  I got her a beautiful boquet composing of different types of flowers which I don't know what kind, coz you know guys can't tell the names of flowers since the only flower that they could name is the "rose".  Anyways, because the boquet consisted of many different flowers, the colors were different, too.  It looked so radiant, and my mom loved it.
Let's get into business.  I arrived at the dueling area, and saw pretty much the same people from last week.  Of course, there were some few new faces I haven't seen before.   I said "wassup" to everybody I know, and I flipped everybody that I didn't know, just kidding, I'm a really nice guy.  But if I wanted to flip someone that day, I could have...hehehe.  OK, let's get to the juicy part and someone pls tell me to shut up now so you fellas could find out what happened.

first round: I've got a chance to relaz because Serf gave me a bye.

second round: froilan vs some kid w/ a gravity bind deck
this kid wanted to trade for my chaser.  he kept bugging me about it, and he kept telling me that it doesn't worth that much anyway because it is only a super rare from TP3.  I told him, if it is only a super rare, how you don't have one? that's right.

1st duel:  he beat me fast with his cannon soldier firing eight of his scapegoats, plus he ceasefired me after I flipped cyberjar.  I hate ceasefire  being used on me. this kid was so happy that he bragged about his deck, and he somewhat scared me by the way he beat me.  I can't stop the effect of cannon soldier with anything.

2nd duel: this duel lasted for a while because everytime I had an open field to attack him with my beatdown monsters, he always happen to have those annoying scapegoats on the field.  this boy have three scapegoats.  dang them goats.  but even with his goats keep stalling me, I finally got him at the end. even though he had jinzo out and used snatch n' steal on my gemini elf, it wans't enough to wipe out my life points.  he had 450 and I had 1600, this was after I recieved my bonus from the effect of snatch and steal.  what a turn of events, my next draw was the monster reborn magic card. with jinzo out on the field, he has nothing to stop it. I monster reborn his cannon soldier, and you can guess the conclusion.

3rd duel:  this duel went fast because he decided to let me go first during this final duel.  my first draw was great,  I had cyber jar right a way.  I knew that if I set cyber jar down, he won't attack since he likes to play his first monster face down with the protection of a few trap cards on the field also.  big mistake, on my turn, I flipped my jar and here comes jinzo with mage power and united we stand, plus an elf and a kycoo.  I have him set up pretty well because what I have in my hand was monster reborn, raigeki, and heavy storm.  If you are a good duelist, you can assume what I did next.I summoned jinzo out on the field, I used heavy storm and even with his scapegoats, I still have my raigeki on hand.  Just like I pictured it, he had his scapegoats, and he did chained it but raigeki followed heavy storm.  I monster reborn the one that I tributed for jinzo, and I used mage and united on jinzo.  with the field open, I was a one hit wonder.

3rd round:  froilan vs darren (beatdown with needle worm and morphing jar, plus, ultimate offering, a strange deck)
this guy is loaded with rare cards. excluding his needle and the morphing jar, he had three, I mean three mechanical chasers TP1!!!  he told me that he travels around the country as a computer consultant for his company so no wonder he can afford all those cards. anyways, the only setback of his deck is he had 60 cards. everybody were rooting for me this afternoon since be beat a couple of tough regulars. I felt nervous since everybody were pressuring me to be darren, and these folks were saying in front of him.  OK, I was sweating bullets since I don't even have that type of outlook towards my duel with darren.  but I played along because even Serf was telling me to beat him.

1st duel:  in this duel, he used needle worm on me and his morphing jar in  two straight turns. I said to my self, man what's up with this, I never played anybody like him before, especially a deck like his.  Anyways, I guess I got lucky this first time around since I had the chance to get jinzo out, and he didn't pull out any monsters.  I beat him in three turns with jinzo and gemini.

2nd duel: same thing happened, except this time he didn't get out any monsters, even his needle worm and his morphing jar was absent from his hand, or on the field.
he congratulated me, and he also told me that THE WORLD OF BOOKS IN SAN LEANDRO, CALFORNIA was the toughest compititions that he had encountered, in comparison to other places over the country.  what a compliment from a man of his stature.

4rth round: froilan vs melvin (cool melvin w/ his limiter beatdown deck)

1st duel: this duel went quickly since after I flipped cyber jar, I had jinzo out with three other monsters on the field.  with united and mage attached to jinzo, it was deja vu all over again.  I cleared the field with raigeki, and depleted his life points to zero with one hit.

2nd  duel: melvin gave back the favor by using his barrel dragon and jinzo to kill me quickly.  It was deja vu all over again,  but not on my part.

3rd duel:  this last duel with blick for me for the first two turns.  Melvin had jinzo out in his first turn by using change of heart against me, and sacrificing my face down kycoo to summon jinzo.  he monster reborned my kycoo, and I thought that I have nothing to counter this the next turn.  but lady luck was with me this afternoon.  my next draw was the pot of greed. after I used it, I got graceful charity and monster reborn.  so, being the desperate guy that I am, I used graceful and I pulled out barrel dragon and heavy storm. I descarded barrel and nimble to the graveyard followed by monster reborning  barrel, and setting down another card face down.  I used heavy storm to clear out his traps just in case, and I used barrels effect successfully to destroy jinzo.  I attacked with barrel to destroy kycoo, and the following turn, he put a monster face down.  during my turn, I flipped magician of faith to get my monster reborn back.  I monster reborn jinzo, and I used  barrel's effect successfully again. can you guess what melvin had on the field face down? it was a cyber jar!!! I am on luck man.  that was game after I attacked with barrrel and jinzo, and off to the finals I go.  Melvin dueled well but I guess the lucky man won, and also the better duelist that day.

finals:  froilan vs kid w/ beatdown
the finals wasn't that exciting for me since this kid beat me quickly.  I didn't even scratched his life points.  he pulled just the right cards to counter my moves, and in the end it was just too much for me to handle.  it didn't matter since I was in a hurry anyways to go to work.  I was late for work, damn!!!  my manager was trippin'.  by the way, the kid that I dueled in the finals, he got a mechanical chaser from his first complimentary pack.  I guess he was luckier than me that afternoon.  Oh well, I could always look forward to next Sunday.
