Well I’ve been going to Jersey’s because I have met some
good people there. Also, they are next to a great restaurant which has great
cheap Pizza!! Anyways, I have been playing Yu-GI-Oh since Pharaoh’s Servant
release. Here is my Newbie Beatdown:

Round 1- Kid who had no clue what he was doing
This duel was extremely easy. My goblins attacked early
and got him down to 3400. Then I raigeki, tribute for summoned skull with an
axe of despair and finish him off. Took about 4 turns to beat him, so I had
plenty of time to do some trading for a Gemini Elf, Kycoo and Gearfried to
replace my 7 Colored and La Jinns.

Round 2- The Kid above’s best friend
Well I guess you can say friends duel alike cause this
guy was the same... Except he had a magic cylinder. I started off by flipping
Man Eater Bug and tributing for Summoned Skull equipped with mage Power,
bringing him up to 4500 ATK. I attacked and he activated Magic Cylinder. I took
the blow and next turn I played Cyber Jar face down. He attacked it, and I got
5 MONSTERS!! He got 0. Next turn I Heavy Storm, and attack with all 5 (Goblin,
2x Fish, La Jinn, and Bazoo). I win the duel.

Round 3- Versus Cory (Great Beatdown) (Darkhorse
candidate every tourny)
I was pretty nervous because Cory and I started at the same
time and have about equal cards. I lucked out though. I had 2 face down, and he
had none. He summoned Fiend Megacyber and attacked Magician of Faith. i got
back a Snatch Steal I discarded from Graceful Charity before( I also discarded
Jinzo). I snatch stole his Megacyber, I Monster reborn Jinzo, and summon a
Goblin Attack Force. I equip Jinzo with an axe of despair, and the same with
Goblin Attack Force. I take him down hard in 1 turn and win the duel. I move on
to the semifinals.

Round 4- Versus Little Kid with Relinquished
This kid had 3 real relinquishes! Anyways, I destroyed
each 1 with Skull Lair. Believe it or not, La Jinn with 2 axes and a Man Eater
Buf killed him in 3 turns or so.

Finals versus weak Beatdown
Too easy. Beat him in about 2 turns, no joke. Change of
Heart his Cyber Jar, flip, get 4 monsters, he gets 3 I think. I Raigeki, and
tribute a man eater bug I got from CJ for Jinzo. Attack with Jinzo, 2 Goblins,
and a Gearfried. Game to me.
Round 2 was a little more complicated, but with my
magician of faith’s, I Raigeki’d twice. After that Summoned Skull and his buddy
Axe of Despair finished them off. Game, set, match, and tourney.
Well I got absolute Junk in the boosters. No holos. Boo.
