Quick Notes: This was a wicked tourny with a ton of people. A lot of new faces showed up trying for the first place prize of a box. Before the tourny started, I was able to buy a Mirror Force, Swords of Light, and Goblin Attack Force, from someone selling their cards. For 30 bucks I think I got a great deal. Now onto the Tourny.

Match 1 vs George

This guy was in the finals last week, I was a little nervous going into the match. He ran a beatdown very similar to mine. Game 1 didn't last long, he got out an early Jinzo and I had no way of stoping it.
1-0 George
Game 2 was all me. I had too much power going at him and he had no way to stop it.
1-1 Tie
Game 3 was very close. Our life points were close down to the end. He made a mistake that would wind up costing him the game. As I put a GAF on the field, and called an attack, he activated turrential tribute, after calling a judge over, it was rulled that the playing of TT was too late, so I attacked and won.
2-1 Me

Round 2 vs kid with a broking wrist

He may have been crippled, but he was no cake walk. He finished 3rd last week, another match which I had to worry about. He too ran a casual beatdown similar to mine. Game 1 was all me, he didn't draw anything good and I was able to beat him pretty easily.
1-0 Me
Game 2. He got a jinzo out and I couldn't stop it in time. He won fairly easily.
1-1 Tie
Another decisive Game 3, and another controversial ruling. Life points for both of us were around 3000. The match was shifting back and forth, I was able to clear the field and monster reborned my Jinzo. He tried to play a wabaku in response to the monster reborn, but it was ruled that Jinzo being summoned outplays the wabaku, so I was able to attack. Shorty after the game was over.
2-1 Me

Round 3 vs Eddy

This guy was new a few weeks back and he won with a half beatdown half clown control deck. Today he came in with an exodia deck. He laughed when he found out he was playing me, since the last time he saw me I didnt have half the cards I have now. Game 1 was short, I stopped his exodia from coming out and ended it pretty fast.
1-0 Me
Game 2 was close. He kept bringing back his witch and got 4 pieces out. I knew he had 4 and was trying to end the game quick. It bit me in the back though when he cylindered my bazoo. Life points were both under 2000, but I was able to change of heart and attack for a win.
2-0 Me

Round 4 ( the final four ) vs New Kid who got needle worm

Winner goes onto the finals. What a lucky guy, pulled a needle worm before the tourny, he wasnt using it though. This guy ran pure beatdown with 3 goblin attack forces. I never played him before, but I wasn't about to take it easy, I was gonna go all out on him. Game 1 was kind of a getting a feel for each other match. Moved a little slow, but he had to much power and I couldn't contain it.
1-0 him
Game 2 was long and exciting. It came down to the end, where I had him running. But I new he had a magic cylinder from cyber jar, and I was under 1000 life points, so I stalled as long as possible until either a Jinzo or Harpie Duster. The Jinzo came just in time, I attacked and won.
1-1 tie
Game 3 didn't last too long. He was about to summon a quick Jinzo, and in my current hand I had nothing to kill it or defend against it, so my only choice was to use my solemn judgement. So I cut my life points down to around 3700. I was able to finally gain an edge on him late game, I was around 700 and he was around 4700. Unfortunaly I was killed by a magic cylinder.
2-1 Him

Round of losers: (playing for 3rd and 4th place) Jesse (exodia)

He ran a beatdown exodia. I don't know how he got so far, I was able to beat him real easy, both matches.
2-0 Me

Since you prob wanna know about it, this is how the finals went.

Adolph (ranked 1 in store) vs new kid who got needle worm

Adolph was running his beatdown as opposed his exodia. Game 1 was all him and was able to take the floor pretty quick.
1-0 Adolph
Game 2. Adolph had a chance to end the game, his oppenet had 4700 life points, if he flipped over his GAF and and attacked with bazoo he would have won. But he saw the match that I had against him and feared the dreaded Magic Cylinder. So he decided not to attack. It cost him the game, as the guy was able to beat him shortly after.
Game 3. The needle worm kid got out a Jinzo half way though the game. I didn't see what happened before then, but Adolph had nothing to stop it. The kid dark holed for fear of a cyber jar, which wasn't there. It gave Adolph hope, but that hope was soon crushed as he summoned a GAF and Special Summned the rock spirit and took 1st place.
2-1 Neddle worm guy

The neddle worm kid took his box and needle worm and went home, what a lucky day for him. I walked away with my 8 packs, getting 6 rares and a Kycoo and Jar of Greed. Adolph took home 12, got a bazoo and masked beast. Was an overal great tourny, I had some close games that I was finally able to win, after some tough losses in the previous weeks.

Well thats about it for my Tourny report. If you wanna ask me anything or just drop me a line, feel free to e-mail or IM me at: Leonresd2@aol.com. thanks for reading.
