This is my first tourney report people but it is my three tournament, I hope

Now I have been known to not take over, but get really far in the 
tournaments lately so not one person there wanted to practice duel me.

Well I was hoping for my friends Alex and Jamie and Jon to show up but only 
Alex and Jamie did. Bummer  Alex said he had a funny feeling he had be 
facing me but I did not think so because you NEVER know whom you’ll face but 
boy was I wrong!

Just a memo but this tournament is not sanctioned and it was 4 games (best 
outta one) and if you have 2 or more wins you go onto the playoffs where you 
face the kids in best two outta three, single elimination.

Match One:
Monster Recovery Versus Alex (Mix of beatdown and burner)


He was nervous, you could tell by the way he was sitting and moving all of 
the time my first hand was pretty crappy it included, Jinzo, Harpies Bro, 
Gemini Elf, Call Of The Haunted, Premature Burial and I drew Pot Of Greed. 
On my first turn I used POG and got Magic Cylinder and Imperial Order. I 
layed Gemini and the new cards I got and ended my turn. He puts Hayabusa 
night in attack mode and with 3 axes and a mage power he attacks once BOOM! 
Magic Cylinder and he goes oh well you’ll lose a lot too and so he attacks 
again and I flip over Imperial Order he was so pissed at me for that so he 
lost nine-hundred and on my turn I pay for Order and draw an Axe I equip it 
to my Elf and attack for the win (Jinzo didn’t even get to be played  
bummer…..)

Match 2:
Monster Recovery versus Phillip (Exodia)

First I put in Exchange and Confiscation and Delinquent Duo Forceful Sentry 
and Soul Release because it was Exodia (DUH!)

On my first turn I got Confiscation and Delinquent Duo, Jinzo Gemini and 
Soul Release so he won the coin toss and he uses Graceful 3 times! Then POG! 
I was sure he was going to have at least three so he plays one monster with 
two magic/traps. So then it was my turn I use Confiscation and Duo I chose 
the head and the right arm he chose some other crappy card. Then I use 
Forceful Sentry take his left arm and he puts it in his deck then he 
shuffles and it was on the bottom! He then claims he going to have a hard 
time getting it because he doesn’t have Sangan, at this point I start to 
feel sorry for him. Then I lay soul release on his Exodia piece and others. 
Then I play Gemini in attack mode and attack his spear cretin, effect don’t 
work since we have no monsters in our graves so I tell him to go. He plays a 
monster and tells me to go. I draw Nobleman Of Crossout and use it on his 
Exodia Piece (the end is near if your using them as monsters)then I tribute 
for Jinzo and I attack he tries to cylinder it but he must be doing 
something wrong cause it don’t work. On his turn he lays another monster and 
ends. I drew my second nobleman, use it and attack again! He gives up 
because he knows he cant win oh well it was fun Phil!

Third match: Monster Recovery versus Brent (Valkyrion deck)

This kid really knew how to use Valkyrion because he has has three of each 
magnet warrior and three Valky’s so I figured if I kept in the cards from 
the last duel I would come out on top.

On my first turn I got POG, Raigeki, Soul Release Kycoo and Kycoo. I wont 
the coin toss so I set Kycoo in attack mode and played POG and I got Bazoo 
Jinzo and Harpies (forgot to draw)and ended my turn. He played Gamma so I 
knew he had to have all three in his hand. Then he used Graceful Charity and 
POG and played one card face down to end his turn. My turn I got Premature 
Burial and I played Kycoo so he flipped Ultimate Offering (don’t they bring 
back memories…) and I played Raigeki and he said oh well so I ended my turn 
then he drew and had a smile. He put down Gamma and Beta I was starting to 
worry. He said end turn so on my turn I drew Kuriboh and I played Bazoo and 
I attacked with my Kycoo’s and then he smiled again and I said smile about 
this and I used soul release on his three warriors I juiced up bazoo and 
attacked. On his turn he couldn’t do anything so he played a monster and 
ended his turn. On my turn I drew Nobleman, used it and attacked he said 
stop and said he gave up (why do people do that?!)

Match Four:
Monster Recovery versus Jamie (AMAZING beatdown)

This was one of my toughest matches all day! He had a good deck of all 
beatdown with the essential cards for it. Well for the first time in all of 
my life I was sscared to face him. LOL! But I guess today just wasn’t his 
day.

I won the toss and got POG Gemini Kycoo Bazoo Skull and Penguin Soldier so 
onto my turn…I use POG get Raigeki and Cylinder I play kycoo and set 
cylinder. He raigeki’s and put bazoo with three axes and pumps him up with 
his affect and he attacs only for me to reveal Cylinder he was happy though 
but I didn’t now why. On my turn I draw Monster Reborn and I use raigeki use 
Reborn on his bazoo and and put mine down and pump them both up. Now he was 
starting to get ticked. So then he plays three magic and trap and one 
monster in defense on my turn I draw Graceful and use it. I get Heavy Storm, 
Nobleman and something else I discard the something else and my skull, use 
Heavy Storm and Nobleman and attack for the win.


PLAYOFFS!

Match One:
Monster Recovery Versus Chris (Final x3 Exodia)

This kid, man this was a joke I traded someone for a chain destruction when 
I figured out I was facing him. Well, it proved to work as, as soon as he 
played Destiny Board, I used it and then I used Heavy Storm he was so 
unhappy and he said he should just give up but I said don’t. He wanted to 
get Exodia so bad and I knew he had to have at least 3 pieces and i drew got 
confiscation so i used it and got rid of his head. He for some r eason wasnt 
scared and i knew why, he then used backup soldier to get it back and i knew 
i was in trouble. I ended up drawing POG and used it to get cylinder and 
CARD DESTRUCTION!!!! i used it and attacked with bazoo juiced up with 2 axes 
and i summoned a Gemini Elf and slapped an axe plus mage power and attacked 
for the win.
The second game was worse he couldnt get any monster and i just kept 
attaking with kycoo and elf for the win.

Finals:
Monster Recovery Versus Brandon (Store Champ With all three god cards and 
cards from LOD!)

This duel was well fought, i dont remember much about it except that he wont 
the first one with having all three of his god cards on the field and i got 
rid of slifer and he just killed me with two attacks from obilisk.

The second one he wasnt so lucky, i traded a card for mask of restrict and i 
didnt even havae to tribute since i killed his obilisk with gemini and kycoo 
with bazoo i gave gemini 3 axes, kycoo united we stand and bazoo i pumped 
him up and i slapped mage power and knowcked out his life points int eh 
third turn or so.

Thr third one he won and i didnt get any monster cards but i raigekied all 
of his god cards and he still dominated me with other monsters.

I came in second, not to bad i got 35 bucks for and i bought 5 packs and got 
another Gemini Destiny board and the one peice i need for it. the other 
packs were spirit of the breeze and jowgen the spiritualist and "I" of the 
messages (triples).
