The Bazoo Bomb Blademaster33 Artifex Entertainment San Diego, California May 10, 2003 Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready for a deck that is beyond your wildest imaginations. The Bazoo Bomb, as it is called, abuses the fact that a simple Level 4 monster can become an instant 2500 attack power monster. Along with the insane combination of Nimble Momongas, Scapegoats, and United We Stand, the Bazoo Bomb utilizes all the powerful aspects of the game. The Bazoo Bomb Monsters: 16 3 Bazoo the Soul-Eater 3 Nimble Momonga 2 Penguin Soldiers 2 Goblin Attack Force 1 Wall of Illusion 1 Witch of the Black Force 1 Cyber Jar 1 Sinister Serpent 1 Sangan 1 Jinzo Magic: 18 1 Raigeki 1 Pot of Greed 1 Monster Reborn 1 Change of Heart 1 Dark Hole 1 Harpie's Feather Duster 1 Heavy Storm 1 Premature Burial 1 Delinquent Duo 1 Forceful Sentry 1 Scapegoat 1 United We Stand 2 Nobleman of Crossout 2 Mystical Space Typhoon 2 Graceful Charity Traps: 7 1 Mirror Force 1 Imperial Order 1 Call of the Haunted 1 Solemn Judgement 1 Torrential Tribute 2 Skull Lair The tournament was at Artifex in San Diego, and I was pumped. I had won the tournament 4 times in the past, and now Bazoo Bomb was trying to win another. Since last week that I attended I have gotten ahold of a second GC, United We Stand, 2 Skull Lairs (which I find overpowered), and the Video Game Promos (Duster, Sinister, Valkyrion). I added all of those into my deck other than Valkyrion for obvious purposes. Anyway, when I go into the store I watch some duels and see my brother get his butt kicked by this little kid. He plays Maha, but he just cannot get a good grasp on the OHKO factor. Anyway, so he loses and I play a little bit of practice duels and I win them all. Yipee. Now it is time to sign up for the tourney. I'm put into the division with a lot of the more experienced players (randomly, of course), but oh well, I can beat most of them. Match One - Bazoo Bomb vs. Good Cards, No Skill I named this deck what I did because it was exactly that. The kid had 2 Cylinders, Jinzo, Geminis (3), and a whole lotta other crap, but he never busted them out on me. Momongas multiplied, sacked for Jinzo, and smacked. Next turn he kills Momonga, I Scapegoat, UWS, Raigeki, and say goodbye. Wheevee. Match Two - Bazoo Bomb vs. Good Kid This kid was actually not very bad. He had a nice solid deck with some nice solid skill, and with a little help he could be a tourney winner soon. However, I had to cut his finale run short with the Bazoo Bomb. Oh well. Basically, I control the field with multiplying Momongas followed up by Jinzo (never get tired of that trick). This kid seems to be some removal artist though, and he uses Tribute to the Doomed to kill Jinzo. Dangit. Then I use Reborn, and he uses Offerings to the Doomed. Later on into the match I find myself keeping on trying to bring back Jinzo, but he keeps destroying it with Raigeki or Dark Hole. Argh. Finally I give up and use Bazoo and GAF to knock his lights out. Funny thing was that before this match Phillip, kinda my friend, tells the kid that I play Petit and Great Moth and I'm feared as the Weevil around the place. Then he says that he, Nick, and I play Great Moth and we are all bug maniacs. I go with that, and so does Nick. The kid believes us and is looking out for moths all throughout. Hehe. Match Three - Bazoo Bomb vs. Insanely Fast Kid This guy was...erm...how do I say it...oh ya, GOOD! I mean, he was a little kid but he had Cylinders and that jack. Three Geminis with Mage Power and UWS to boot. This guy had also wrecked carnage on J.J., one of the top duelists, so I knew I had to stay on my toes. Oh well, I tried. First duel he goes insanely quick with Dark Hole + Raigeki in the first two turns to inflict damage on me badly. I remember I was taken down to 1050 somehow. Now here comes my little combacky thing. He is totally wasted, and he has no more options. Tada! Dark Hole! Then a quick Bazoo first turn, and trib for Jinzo does this kid in. Lucky me. Yay I won that one. Next one is a really messy one though. I mean, this is crazy crap. I do 8100 in one shot due to UWS from his side and UWS from my side plus Momongas and Sangan. It was crazy crap fun, but well...yeah. Favorite duel of the day. Match Four - Bazoo Bomb vs. Trappo The Ebil This guy is a trap insanity person. I mean, first turn he sets 5 traps and 1 monster. However, I just cannot seem to get my frikkin Duster. When I finally do, he has taken me down quite a bit due to those ebil (evil) trap holes. Then, when I Duster he just Jammers. I'm pissed. I Change of Heart his monster (Harpy Bro), and trib for Jinzo. Traps a nulled! Yes! Needless to say that was the end of his trappy days. Next duel was pretty much the same but I managed to take out a Cylinder, a Force, and a Torrential with me Duster. Yipppee. Match Five - Bazoo Bomb vs. Phil w/ Crazy Kycoos Well, we were evenly matched. It was the Bazoos against the Kycoos, and easily the Kycoos won. However, I took it down to a close Match 3 where he won with a crazy Hayabasu Double Axe win. Still, it was a good match, and maybe Bazoos with triumph later. I did, however, figure out that I have too much removal so I need to take out one Bazoo for something else. So, I lost, oh well. I still got 6 packs so I was happy and stuff. Yeah. I pulled Bazoo in my packs and traded it later for a Kycoo, which I added happily to my deck. One more Kycoo and I'm ready! Hip, hip, hooray! Props and Slops! Props: -Getting second place -Getting Kycoo -Playing the most fun match ever (Match 3) -Getting to go to the tourney Slops: -Losing (well, it was ok) -Getting only 1 holo in 6 packs -Erm...no, nothing more. -Blademaster33 You can email me at dark_eturnal@hotmail.com, k?
