2 Trap Hole (I don't think they're any use anymore.)

Well, my Shadow deck is now a Clown/anti-Exodia/Hand Burning/Card Drawing/Beatdown deck.  Why I took out my Trap Holes even I don't know.  Well, since Alex is the new AM champ and I'm the new PM champ (see Part 7), we decided to go for Towson and win as many matches we can for this Mall Tour.  Well, Alex had to spend the night at my house and we could barely sleep because we were so excited about the Mall Tour and I modified Alex's deck since I saw him losing to me a little more than I'd expect.  I only got about 3-4 hours of sleep, but when I woke up, I was ready to fight and was wide awake.  We decided to leave around 8:00 am so we can get there early.  The ride to Towson was a good 1 1/2 hours, so getting there early wasn't really an option.  When we got there, we went straight to the Registration line, but when we got there, the line was nearly full.  The wait was only about 10 minutes since we got there early enough.  When I got my bag, it came with a necklace/badge (very important), a bag full of goodies (including a chance to face one of the Staff people at Upper Deck (Warning to any people willing to face these guys: All of them hold on to 3 Mechanicalchasers so beware.)) and a regular common card (mine was Oni Tank T-34.)  Well, my main objective (and Alex's) was to get all 7 stickers and beat the current record (which is 1:15 pm.), so I decided to go for the 2 hardest stickers (by the way, the 7 stickers contain the following: Signing up for the Tour, going to the King of Games challenge, Winning the King of Games Challenge, the Upper Deck Challenge, the Duelist Arcade, the Dueling Arena, and the Exodia Training Zone.)  Alex and I decided to go our separate ways for this Mall Tour to see who can get all 7 stickers first.  I decided to first go for the King of Games Challenge, but before I did that I put my name on a little postcard for the Upper Deck Challenge, ran to the King of Games Challenge area, and got my 2nd sticker for now participating for this challenge.  When I was waiting to get in, these two girls that were Staff people were flirting with me (maybe cuse I'm a redhead or sumthing).  Anyways, when I was allowed 2 get inside, my opponent was already waiting.

King of Games Challenge (KoGC) (Win 3 in a row to become champ.)
Match 1
The Shadow vs. some 15-16 year old kid (Beatdown deck)
Just b4 I start talking about the match, you have to win one match, in other words, this isn't a best out of 3 match where you play 3 matches against 3 ppl.  Neways, the match with this guy.  I have to admit when I faced this guy, his cards were just like mine (without my Morphing Jar of course.)  We were exchanging blows until we were both around 5500.  I Changed of Hearted his Goblins, offered it for the almighty Jinzo, said my saying, and started to pound the living crap out of him.  In other words, I won.
1-0 (<---for the entire day)

Well, that wasn't so hard.  When I was waiting for my next duelist, a big guy with a Yu-Gi-Oh! Staff shirt sat across from me and brought out his deck.  As soon as I saw this guy I was like "Aw great.  This is gonna be painful 4 me."  The Staff member made a deal to me.  He said if I win, he'll qualify me to become the King of Games Champion, but if I lose, then I can't duel in this challenge anymore.  I was thinking about it and I agreed.  I shuffled my deck, and was ready to face a Staff member.

Match 2
The Shadow vs. Yu-Gi-Oh! Staff Member (Mechanicalchaser Beatdown)
Well, The Shadow didn't know what to expect except for those evil Mechanicalchasers.  We were also exchanging blows until I made a huge blast at his life points with my Raigeki, Goblin Attack Force combo.  When he tried to attack my Goblins with La Jinn, I Wabokued.  Right now, I was hoping for a miracle.  I needed one of two things, Jinzo or Barrel Dragon.  I drew...Pot of Greed and used it and well, well, well.  Look what we have here.  My two cards I drew were Jinzo and Barrel Dragon.  I offered my GAF for my Jinzo and destroyed his La Jinn.  He was now at around 4800 to my 6000.  He drew and set a mon in DEF mode.  Thinking that it was a Man-Eater, I used Change of Heart on his monster and it was a Magician of Faith. I flipped it, got back my Monster Reborn from the Graveyard, reborned the GAF and offered them for Barrel Dragon and destroyed his Life Points.  I ACTUALLY BEAT A STAFF MEMBER!!
2-0

Well, the Staff Member had to stick to his promise and I got my third sticker to my Badge.  I asked the person who was running the place to see who was the first King of Games Champion and he said that it was me (o_O).  I was the first KoG Champ?!  Wow.  Well anyways, I hanged around the Dueling Field and all of a sudden, they called my name for the Upper Deck Challenge!  I was so nervous when I waited in line to face these ppl because of their experience, their Mechanicalchasers, and the fact to the matter that they might have the Labyrinth of Nightmare cards b4 ne1 else (like the Gemini Elf), but I then thought that if I was able to defeat one Staff member, then this one shouldn't be that hard...Well, when I was allowed to go in, my opponent was a short guy with glasses and short black hair.  Well, I was ready and I wanted to win myself into that Book of Kings.

Millennium Puzzle Challenge (win and get in the Book of Kings!)
The Shadow vs. another Staff member (Mechanicalchaser Beatdown)
Well, this Staff member was harder than the last.  We were both exchanging blows until his Dark Elf came out and he had 3000 to my 5800.  In 2 turns, the score was his 1000 to my 1800.  I was able to now protect myself from any other threats by using his Raigeki that I Exchanged away with and he Wabokued when I was about to attack with my Goblins (DAMMIT!)  I realized that his defense card my La Jinn hit before my Goblin attack was a...MAGICIAN OF FAITH?!  Uh-Oh.  I didn't like the look of this now.  I didn't have ANY trap cards and he was able to Raigeki, bring out a Harpie's Brother and beat me.
2-1

Right now, my spirit was in shock.  I still got the Millennium Puzzle Sticker which was my 4th sticker, but I just couldn't believe it.  I, The Shadow, lost to a Staff member that I had a good chance of beating.  Well, the next 2 stickers to get that are easy, The Dueling Arcade and The Dueling Field, is as easy as asking them for the sticker.  When I was trying to get my Dueling Field sticker, the guy said that I had to play at least one duel, so I faced this kid that was around my age (15) and he was using a not bad, but not good deck and I beat him 2 games in a row, so now my record today is 4-1 and I received my 5th sticker.  I said to myself, I had to get back on my winning streak.  All of a sudden, Alex faced a Staff member and he WON!?  I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!  I was now better than Alex and he got into the Book of Kings?!  Well, I saw that he had 5 stickers as well, so we were now racing and soon after talkin to the Staff member about the 6th sticker, he finally gave it up.  I booked a seat to the Exodia Training Zone which was my last place to get my last sticker and then I saw the Magician's Workshop where 2 guys that were on a stage were giving away PSV boosters and I realized that they were only picking little kids.  Us teenagers didn't like what happened and I challenged one of the people to a game of Duel Monsters.  At first, they refused until they had an idea and said that they will face me under one condition...if the match is a game of The Duelists of the Roses.  Even though I didn't kno how to play the game, I never say no to a challenge like this, so I accepted and the duel was supposed to be held at 5:00 pm.  It was 11:30 am and I only needed two more stickers and the 6th one wasn't as hard as any other stickers I had to get.  All I had to do was to ask the guy for the sticker and I got it.  What I needed now was the Exodia Training sticker and I would break the 1:15 pm record since it's now 12:00 pm.  When I arrived there, there was this little kid that won't stop talking.  Well, everyone realized that we had to face sum1 after the lecture.  We couldn't use our own decks to duel here because that would've given us the advantage (good call to the Staff ppl).  All the decks that were there were a combination of the Yugi and Kaiba Starter Decks.  I checked out what were my tribute monsters and they were Rude Kaiser, Gaia the Fierce Knight, and the Dark Magician.  After the 15 minute lecture, I had to face the annoying kid.  Well, let's see if I can beat this guy.

Exodia Training Zone
The Shadow vs. annoying little kid (both of us had to use a starter deck.)
Well, at first, he had the lead until I was able to summon Rude Kaiser with Invigoration.  2 turns later, I summoned the Dark Magician.  Another 2 turns later, I summoned Gaia the Fierce Knight.  In other words, too easy.
5-1

There it was...the final sticker!  I was so happy that I was the first person with all 7 stickers, but then out of the corner of my eye, while my sticker was being placed, Alex was getting HIS final sticker.  We got our final sticker at the exact same time.  Well, we got something to eat and we both agreed to do it all over again after we ate at Villa Pizza.  When we were eating, I saw the 2 guys that ran the Magician's Workshop and they said that I should give up on trying to beat the two of them and I said that since it would be unfair to do a 2 vs. 1, I picked one of the guys that calls himself Duel Master Rob.  Rob accepted the challenge and reminded me that it's still Duelist of the Roses.  Anyways, that time, it was now about 2:00 pm when I got another bag of stuff (This time my common was Driving Snow, and wut a coincidence that it's snowing in VA right now.)  I put my name on the card again and faced about 4 ppl in a best out of 3 match and I didn't lose one match, so my record is now 13-1.  Soon, my name was called again and this time, I had to face a guy that was in a suit like the 2 guys back in the Magician's Workshop.  I couldn't lose 2 times here.  This was my last shot into getting my name on that Book of Kings.  Well, here goes nothing.

Millennium Puzzle Challenge
The Shadow vs. Staff member in a suit (Mechanicalchaser Beatdown)
Well, his deck was like mine, but the only differences were that he played Mechanicalchasers and Harpie's Brother instead of La Jinn and Morphing Jar.  We were exchanging some very hard blows until all of a sudden, he had a Harpie's Brother with an Axe of Despair and a Jinzo out and seeing that I was at only 600 Life points to his 2300, I conceded the match to him.
13-2

Now I was shell-shocked.  I didn't want to see myself lose like this.  I saw that the King of Games challenge was about to begin again so I took my seat and faced my first opponent.

King of Games Challenge
Match 1
The Shadow vs. Some kid (Beatdown Deck)
Well, this match wasn't very hard.  He tried everything he could to take out Jinzo, but he just couldn't get that job done, so I won.
14-2

Match 2
The Shadow vs. a black kid (Trap Killing Beatdown)
This guy was trying to stop all of my traps by using Trap Master and Reaper of the Cards.  I made sure that using their effects was not an option, so I used all my hand killing cards and my field 0wning cards to beat him.
15-2

FINAL MATCH!
The Shadow vs. Some guy that looked like Adam Sandler (Maha Vailo/Relinquished Deck)
Well, at first I was in the lead until he flipped over the Invader of the Throne.  He said that he takes my monster, so I looked at the card and it said to exchange control with IotT and one monster, but he was too reluctant, so i had no choice but to let things go.  He was able to summon Relinquished and absorbed my WoI and when I had my Goblins out, one of his cronies was telling him to be some trap on me.  I didn't kno wut it was until he flipped it and it was METALMORPH?!  He equipped it on Maha Vailo and took out my life points.  Alex also saw wut happened and he said that I was robbed from my win, but he just wouldn't admit on wut happened.  Right now, I curse that guy.  I curse him that he shall lose the next 619 matches and will get nothing out of his next 619 boosters.  Cheater.
15-3

Right now, I was extremely angry until I saw that it was almost 5:00 pm and my Magician's Workshop Challenge was about to start.  Before I went there, I got another sticker from the Dueling Arcade for a total of 4 on the 2nd badge.  After giving out more boosters (NOW he gives more boosters to teenagers), Duel Master Rob and I were now ready 2 duel each other.  2 PS2 controllers came out and then all of a sudden, the TVs were now screens that showed the game.  I can't really describe the rules, but then all of a sudden, Rob called out 2 little kids to the stage.  He exclaimed that these little kids were going to be like our pawns.  We had to tell them what to do and soon, there was a crowd that was probably about 75 ppl watching our duel.  There was a time limit of 10 minutes.  It was now time to see if a first timer like me can beat an experienced player like Duel Master Rob.

The Duelist of the Roses Challenge
The Shadow vs. Duel Master Rob
Since I didn't kno how to play the game, I let Rob and his little pawn, Conner, go first.  I saw what I had to do.  I had to aim for that guy that was over that rose to do serious damage, but my monsters could only go one space at a time, so I had to go through his monsters first.  After a couple of turns, I saw him now setting Sebek's Blessing and I was hoping that he wouldn't activate it cuse then when he would attack with his strongest monster, the Two-Headed King Rex, he would gain 1600 Life Points (We started with 4000).  It was now my turn and I told my pawn, Jack, to try and summon a monster and then I saw a monster with 1850 called the Crow Goblin.  I told him to summon it and move it one space.  Rob told Conner to send the Two Headed King Rex over the Sebek's Blessing.  I then made a big smile then I explained to him that you cant send monsters over magic cards or the magic card would be destroyed.  He destroyed his own Sebek's Blessing and there were only 3 minutes left with my team at 3550 and his team at 3000.  I then told Jack to attack the THKR with Crow Goblin and it destroyed the overgrown iguana with a Double Tornado Blaster (as I liked to call it).  Time ran out and our team won!  That was my first time playing it and I won 3550-2750.
16-3

Rob couldn't believe it and gave each of us one booster for beating him (which I got a Gravity Bind out of).  All of a sudden, I heard this chanting going on from the crowd.  They were saying "Shadow!  Shadow!"  I couldn't believe it!  I am now getting more respect than I would back at Springfield!  I saw that it was time to go home and since my mom didn't like driving back there the next day, Alex and I agreed to not go on the 2nd day.  By the way, the next day, I got Duelist of the Roses.  So now I HAVE to do Props and Slops.
