Kool. Now on with the report!

Round 1 - Jester Nyte vs. Kenny (No strategy deck)

I felt kinda bad about this round. It was the kid's first ever tourney duel and he put a good fight for someone his age but I had to eliminate him to move on. I'm not gonna go into detail but the rounds were so short that i diddn't even summon relinquished.
2-0

Round 2 - Jester Nyte Vs. David (Beatdown with a Relinquished deck)

This kid is pretty good for his age. In fact, he beat my new machine deck in the unofficial Tourney the day before this one so I was spoilin for revenge. He was all paranoid about my deck and insisted on shuffling for like 5 minutes. In the end, I drew 2 relinquished, 2 rituals, a mirror force, and a lajinn on my first turn. Heh heh. He was a good shuffler i guess. That was a quick round. The second was much better. He pulled a Jinzo out on me early on and when I Absorbed it with Relinquished, he Imperial ordered to negate the Powerup (I wan't sure about this move but since Jinzo was a Magic card at the time I assumed he didn't work his affect.)
Eventually though, he went down to My TER who sucked up his Black Skull Dragon.
4-0

Round 3 - Jester Nyte Vs. Andy  (Basic Beatdown deck)

Now about 2 months ago, this kid wiped me out badly and I never got a rematch. Now was the time for revenge and I was spoiling for a good match. However I was kinda disapointed. He had good cards, but nothing amazing. First thing that happened (I went 2nd) was that I snatch stole his Mechanical chaser and tributed for Jinzo. I attacked and ended the turn. He the monster reborned and tributed for a Summoned Skull (My Jinzo hates those things) which killed Jinzo. After that, I drew Poly and summoned TER to absorb SS. I also Monster Reborned Jinzo (And so I learned later, stopped his waiting Mirror Force) From then on, i beat on him with TER for the win. The second round, he just couldn't summon any decent monsters and had to use his Magic and traps too early. I won quickly.
6-0

Round 4 - Jester Nyte Vs. Aaron (Hayabusa deck: Lotsa weinies)

Finally a decent match. Aaron beat me last week in the finals and I was ready for a rematch. He got out a hayabusa knight with 2 axes around 3rd turn and Raigekied for 6000 damage (thank god that was his only monster) but I had a relinquished waiting that sucked it up and I Monster reborned Jinzo to help with the beating. Next turn, he failed to play a monster. Yay! our 2nd game almost went to him but I mirror forced a whole bunch of Monsters (he built them up during the 3 turns from my SORL) and killed him with a mech chaser, Light of intervention, and all 3 of my Trap holes (Evil!!)
8-0

Finals - Jester Nyte vs Brandon  (Exodia deck (with a hint of Beatdown))

Another tough match and the only Exodia I faced that day. Brandon is one of my friends and this was his first time to the finals so I didn't really want to face him. Anyway, round one was sadly easy. I just had really good draws and ended up with a whole bunch of powerhouses along with Jinzo out on the field. He was so desperate to defend that he played Exodia pieces. He didn't last long. Second round was interesting. I swapped 2 trap holes for Card Destruction and soul release from my side deck. I drew them pretty early and removed the left leg of Exodia from the game. He then played messanger of peace which was his downfall. The 100 life loss slowly brought him down until he was weak enough to kill with Ceasefire. Thus, I won my first Tourney and $15 store credit along with free entry and a tourney pack. Note: In some places this rule is disputed but in my home store, you cannot destroy something like Messenger of peace until you cannot pay the lifepoints.

Good Shtuff - Winning my 1st tourney!
My little brother humiliating a kid 3 times his age with 2
                    flawless victories (Go Ian!)
Pulling a messenger of peace from a pack

Bad Shtuff - Elimnating a little kid and a friend
Getting crap in my tourney pack (my 5th Dokororider)

Id like to thank everyone who has asked for help for their decks, and to encourage anybody who needs a deck fix or any general advice and friendly talking to email me at Jesternyte@aol.com or to IM me.
Ciao!
