Tournament Date:
This week got to the semi-finals. I came with Combat Medics a
Beatdown of My variation. This one gets me to semi finals. I decide to take the
advice of Bandit Keif “Shouldn’t post your real deck because they will just
make a counter to it”.
Round 1: Trunks Vs. Oliver
(Dice beatdown) [No
He has been here for a while just never noticed him. He runs a
Beatdown with cannon soldiers with like 2 of each Dice cards not much
Duel 1: I start off a set
a monster face down with a counter. He hits the Monster and I gain 1000 and
then more come out. I begin a assault on his Life points with 1800 hitters and
slowly heal my self I take damage. His dice get me a few times but its not
enough.
Duel 2: This one basically
the same thing except I win with more life points that I started.
He needed some of the
staple magic cards.
Round 2: Trunks vs. Thomas
(Think I spelled it rite. Control) [Rare Hunter]
I tried to
finish my first match early to try and scope out his deck to see what I was in
for. But by the time I got there I didn’t get to see enough of it to know what
kind of deck it was. But as Kevin W. suggested I didn’t need to see it.
Duel: 1
I
try to take a early field advantage with my Tribute to the doomed. But that doesn’t
work. He gets me to play in defense. Eventually he wins with bazu and Power of
Team Work. That’s the 2nd time I got mauled by it this week.
Duel: 2
This time I was more ready to expect what was coming so I side
decked some defense.
I bust out with early advantage due to the medical advantages
of my deck. At 1 point he takes advantage for a turn by using mage power and White
magical hat. But eventually I take the game with my Jinzo
Duel: 3
This is the best duel out of both of us in the whole match. I
go up to 10000 with nimbles and I take advantage by denying all magic cards
with Imperial Order. He messes up by playing playing a Raigeki while imperial
order was out. He tires to kill my healers with a Mirror Force but seven tools
kicks in. Thanks my healers I am able to up keep imperial until I get some good
magic cards I take this game with my Healers and made the Famous Saiyan
Comeback “If you do not kill a saiyan the first time, he just comes back
stronger.”
Round 3: Trunks vs. Serf
(Mt Disruptor) [DTOA Kid {No
Haven’t played Serf in a long time. The last time I played him
was back in the day of my Burner. So I kind of didn’t know what to do. So I did
what my deck did best Hit and Heal
Duel 1:
When I play
I start with my bug. Then I get a hit in. But he comes out with a giant soldier
of stone. This is the longest duel of all of them we go through like ¾ of our
decks and were tied at 5500 life points. He wins with a very big hit consisting
of a army of cannons and stone soldiers.
Duel 2:
Time to
start the Saiyan comeback. I take the early lead by getting a hit in. I also
bring in nimbles to get a life point advantage. We take hit by hit. But his
small monsters are no match for my ultimate healer the Cure Mermaid. He tries
to bring out a Jinzo to stop my Healing. But a Harpies Brother with axe is no
match. I win by bringing out 2 jinzos and taking the game.
Duel 3:
It all came down to this duel who would go on A Saiyan or The
lone wolf. I start this duel off with regular beatdown style. I go on and take
advantage with an 1800. He brings out a stone soldier to defend. He tries to
take out my life point by shooting me at a distance with cannon soldiers. He
tries call of the haunted to bring back cannon soldier and try more damage but
seven tools kicks in. Eventually I Begin the healing process with mermaids and
others. I win 9950 to 0. Comon now Serf I won with more life points then I
started what is that.
Round 4: Semi- Finals
Trunks Vs. Ishizu (Earth Deck) [K-Force 1]
This is the semi-finals for our side of the bracket. Since my
Duel against DOTA kid took so long the other bracket was already in the final.
The only 3 players that remained were 1 Saiyan, 1 K-Force, 1 Rare Hunter. Which
player would represent and win the Champion Ship.
Duel 1:
I haven’t played her in a while so all I knew was to expect
earth monsters. I don’t have my targeted removal cards with me so I have no way
to fight against the Gaia powers except heavy storms and 1 dust tornado, In a
addition to that I don’t have any earth monsters to side deck to even out the
monster field. So I go on and try to hit my hardest but it doesn’t work.
Eventually I lose.
Duel 2:
This Duel she plays a solemn judgment when she has like 7000
life points and constantly attacks with jirais and messes up on the flip.
Eventually she is lowered to around 450 life points and I take her Gemini and
bring out a Jinzo for Insurance and attack. I take this game.
Duel 3:
This duel is the longest one. I try to stall with nimbles but
that proves to be no match for her earth monsters. I was trying to go for the win
with a change of heart call of the haunted and Jinzo but she ended me before I
perform that move. Duel goes to her.
The Saiyan falls this week
but will Return
