Subject: 400 Horsepower Murray Friedman Dragons Den Yonkers NY

Hey I'm Murray from Bronx NY. I'm in 9th grade and attend Bronx Science. This is my first tournament report so don't e-mail me anything along the lines of "your report stunk". So without any more delay I give you the 400 Horsepower
Deck: 40 cards
Monsters: 20
3 Mystic Tomato's (to search for Sangan and the Witch)
2 Mof's (duh to get back magic cards)
2 Cannon Soldiers (so I can tribute Sangan and the Witch and get the pieces
faster)
2 Big Eyes (Hmm I need one piece left and its 5 turns away. Hey not anymore) 2 Mod (mostly for Backup Soldier) All Of Exodia (for once the seal is broken nothing can stand in its way) Wotbf (come to me Exodia) Hane-Hane (only current way to get the head from the graveyard) 2 Sangan (come to me Exodia) Magic Cards: 15 3 Last Will's (If I sacrifice my own Witch I can bring out Sangan. Sounds good to me) 3 Shallow Grave's (that Witch would look relay good on the field right now) Sorl (I might only need 3 turns) 2 Messenger of Peace (all my monsters can still sacrifice themselves if
needed)
Premature Burial (I don't mind paying 800 to get my Sangan back on the
field)
Monster Reborn (Even better now it's free)
Nobleman of Crossout (Cya Jar monsters)
Painful Choice (don't worry Exodia Backup Soldier will get you back) Pot of Greed (Brings me two steps closer) Upstart Goblin (one less card to deal with) Trap Cards: 2 Backup Soldier's (Stuck in the grave Exodia. Not for long) Gravity Bind (my life points are safe while I complete the puzzle) Imperial Order (No thou shalt not use card destruction) Magic Jammer (or Delinquent Duo)

O.K. if you haven't noticed I'm using an Exodia deck stop reading seriously. But what you wouldn't know is that in this tournament no Lon cards were allowed. Before the tournament as usual I played some people for fun and faced this interesting earth deck built by someone whose tournament name is Mega Yugi and played by someone called James. I'm not going to describe the deck because I'm not sure if Mega Yugi wants people copying it. Without further delay here's the tournament: Round 1: 400Horsepower vs. little kid with burner/beatdown Match 1: The kid didn't stand a chance. I can remember him using Type Zero Magic Crusher and Ozaki along with some 1600-attack monster. I pulled Exodia turn three. Match 2: Something thing except he used Card Destruction and I had to use Backup Soldier to get the pieces back to my hand. Round 2: 400 Horsepower vs. kid with beatdown whose name I forgot Match 1: This kid has a pretty O.K. beatdown. I've faced him before and I've never lost and I wasn't going to start then. He used Card Destruction and did some damage with his monsters but was unable to stop me. Match 2: I can remember him using Card Destruction at a time when I had no pieces and using Cyber Jar which did nothing so basically that's why he lost. However he did do 3500 with Cease-Fire which was knida cool. Round 3: 400 Horsepower vs. whinny adult Match 1: I'll explain why I called him this latter. First game it wasn't until about half way through that he realized I had Exodia and by then it was to late. I think he would have done better if he had known this during the match. Match 2: I tried to pull off the Painful Choice Backup Soldier turn one but he countered Backup Soldier and I was forced to wait a few turns before I could complete the combo and when I did it was game. After the match he complained I had to many cards in my hand and I tried to explain that this was only because Backup Soldier let me get three cards from my grave and science it was his turn I didn't have to discard yet but this didn't sink through. It's a shame because during the match he acted relay cool even trusting me with Wotbf and Sangan. Round 4: 400 Horsepower vs. Kid with relay good winnie rush deck Match 1: I faced him and won on Saturday so I was pretty confident. His Haysuba Nights did some damage and his Card Distruction delayed the process but I came out victorious in the end. Match 2: His winnie rush was just to fast for me and he beat me by life points before I could draw Exodia. Match 3: Well I would have one had he not used Snatch Steel on my Mystic Tomato. That and his Haysuba Nights are what relay killed. He played a relay good game and won with four Exodia pieces in my hand. Hmm I guess theirs always next time.
Props:
For me getting so far
For my Exodia deck doing good in its first test
For the kid who beat me for playing relay well.
To getting two supper rares in my four packs
Slops:
To the whinny adult may he never come back
For both supper rares being crap
To not wining it all
