Assassins "Dream Assassination" deck By Assassin(Sean Mclellan) C & R Comics and Collectibles Wichita Kansas Thursday Feb 6, 2003 20 participants This is my first tourney report, but I've been playing tourneys once and twice a week for the past 7 months. In all honesty my tournament record is very good considering I only finish top three at least in all tourneys Ive participated in. I was a big fan of beatdown and it did well for me, and then I fell in love with dream clown, so the clown deck is pretty much what I play. Also let me note, we were allowed to use LON cards in this tourney so I included 3 Ekibyo Drakmord (equip, monster cant attack for two of your opponents turns. At the end of the second turn, if the monster is still alive, kill it and return this card to your hand), 1 Royal Command (Continuous Trap, Negate all flip effects) and a Magical Cylinders (tell me you know already!!!). So here's the decklist Assassins Dream Assassination 3 Dream Clowns 2 Hayabusa Knight 2 Sangan 2 White Magical Hats 2 Magicians Of Faith Cyber Jar Giant Soldier Of Stone 4 Star Ladybug Of Doom Crass Clown 2 Ekibyo Drakmords 2 Mystical Space Typhoon 2 Prohibition 2 Axe of Despair 2 Nobleman Of Crossout Darkhole Raigeki Pot Of Greed Change OF Heart Monster Reborn Premature Burial 3 Gravity Bind 2 Magic Jammer Imperial Order Ceasefire Royal Command Mirror Force Call Of The Haunted Sideboard: 2 Messanger Of Peace 2 Exile Of The Wicked 2 Man eater bug Jinzo Goblin Attack Force Heavy Storm Delinquent Duo Nobleman OF Crossout Card Destruction Soul Release Faketrap Ekibyo Drakmord The Prize Support was as follows: First got 30 dollars store credit, Second got 20, Third got 15 and the fourth got 10. Everyone got 2 grabbags for playing. This was a bracket tournament (think that's what its called) to where we played rounds till there were only 2 undefeateds left. It went like this for me: Round 1 - Assassin Vs Greg (older dude who used to play Exodia but never did any good with it, so recently has changed his deck to beatdown. I beat him the week before at a different stores tourney in the finals) Clowns versus beatdown, you do the math. Game one saw the fourth turn soft lock with the g bind, 2 clowns and a hat. Game two was a little better, it ended with him with a Summoned Skull out and me with G.Bind.I had 2 Dream Clowns in the yrad and he reborned one. So I quickly rip the Call of The Haunted off the top and get the dream clown outta the yard doin his thing....KILLIN!!! Me 2 ... Greg boooo Round 2 - Assassin Vs Tjaden (My partner in cards, using my beatdown with 3 very good additions, 3 Gemini Elves!!!!) Once again, I control beatdown to the fullest. First game I got the lock, second saw some problems. My first hand (and I go second) was Raigeki, Premature Burial, Mirror Force, Imperial Order, Magic Jammer. I somehow managed to burn through all that and get the lock, but it was a miracle. Me 2 ... Tjaden 0 Round 3- Assassin Vs Prophet (prophet is an older dude who just got into yugioh, but is actually fairly good. He plays beats, which meant easy work for my clowns. His name is his Halo handle, he has a buddy who signs up to the tourneys as Elf, lol) Okay, this was actually pretty amusing. In the coarse of the first game, I manage to nobleman all his man eaters and magicians, so hes got all 3 of each stacked to the side of his graveyard. Well, I win and we shuffle, cut and draw our first hands. I had Royal Command First turn, the negate all flip effects card, and he just happens to only draw man eaters and magicians all game ... He got REALLY mad... sorry prophet .... Me 2 ... Prophet 0 Round 4 - Assassin Vs Vincent (never seen this guy before, hes playin some weird g bind deck like mine but with AMEBAS and GRIGGLES?????) Im not even going to take the time to reiterate on this round. His deck lacked real direction, and both games were spent with him realizing the full potential of a clown control deck.I was drawin crazy good and locked him down both games also. Me 2 ... Vincent 0 So here we are in the finals. It would be me vs my best competition in all Wichita, Bryan Hanson. We decide to go ahead and draw, and split first and second prize, giving us each 25 bucks store credit a piece. So I went undefeated and Im not sure which one of us got first off points, but it didn't really matter. It was a fun tourney. The tourney was about 65 percent beatdown with some rouges and a couple exodia decks out there. Thanks for reading my report, and read the others Im planning on sending in.Questions, Comments, Womans Under Garments, send them all to Sean Mclellan, by way of KingDiscard@hotmail.com Props To hanson for splittin with me To C&R for hostin good yugi tourneys(big ups) To Dream Clown for being the Jesus Slops To those one kids who hang around just to jack fools for there ultra rares (you will all die young and horribly) To those anti drug and tobacco commercials who twist and bend "the truth".
