Well, added a few cards that I got from trading such as Cyber Jar, Forceful Sentry, Heavy Storm, and Delinquent Duo, depending on how useful they seems in duels will depend on wether they will stay or not. Also added Mask of Darkness, another Waboku, and a Skull for power.

Well, I walked in 45 minutes early, and signed up, and traded, and chatted a bit, until the pairing were announced.

So I walk over, and see Im against Trevor, who in the previoius tourney was kicked for cussing.

Match One, Participants:33

Trevor once again ran an stall/burner deck.

Duel One

Dark Winged Duelist:8000-7000-6000-5200

Trevor:8000-7500-3900-2100-0

Okay, he got me a lot with direct damage cards, but drew barely any monsters, so direct damage was easy.

Duel Two

Dark Winged Duelist:8000-7000-6200

Trevor:8000-6000-2400-600-0

This duel, he was actually able to draw Bind, but when he did, I Heavy Stormed. Delinquent Duo nailed two messengers, and Elf was able to hit.

After finishing the duel we shaked each others hands, and he left riding his bike. I had also been happening to wonder when our store would release Labyrinth of Nightmare, so I walked up to the cash register and ask and I find out the store gets Labyrinth in two weeks.

Oh well, that’s what Target, and K-Mart are for. By then, the next rounds pairings are announced, and I find Im up against Max, you runs an Relinquished/Beatdown.

Match Two, Particiants:17

Duel One

Dark Winged Duelist:8000-6200-5200-

Max:8000-6000-2400-0

Okay. He runs an well built Relinquished, and at two points in our duel, he was able to summon Restrict. Luckily, I had my monster removal just at the right time.

Duel Two

Dark Winged Duelist:8000-6200-5200-1600

Max:8000-6000-4200-3200-2200-400-0

He had the upperhand on me the whole start of the duel, and got me to 1600 before I had even layed an hand on him.

But then I played Dark Hole, and hit with an Elf. Next, I continuosly hit with White Magical Hat.

After a bit of laughter and congratulations with Max, I went outside since for the next round I had a bye and grabbed a slice of pizza.

After a 15 minute wait, I walked back to store, and waited to find my next opponent.

I find out Im up about Cole, who runs an equiment beatdown, Hayabusa, Axes, Maha Valios.

Match Three, Particiapants:5

Duel One

Dark Winged Duelist:8000-7000-3000-1200-200

Cole:8000-6000-4000-2200-400-

Dark Elf came into play here and cause me to lose a lot of life. At one point he hit me with an Hayabusa Knight with Axe because I had run out of cards in my hand, and he basically just destroyed me. But, I fissured, used the Ultimate Offering he had to set to summon an La Jinn, and Geafried for the win.

Duel Two

Dark Winged Duelist:8000-4950-950-0

Cole:8000-6200-4400-

This duel was different, he was able to hit with with an Maha Valio with Axe, and Hayabusa with Axe, monster removal kept me alive, and when I ran out of removal, I just died on the spot.

Duel Three

Dark Winged Duelist:8000-4000-600

Cole:8000-6200-5200-4200-3300-0

This time I side decked in two Eternal Rests, just incase. At the beginning he hit me with Hayabusa with Axe, but White Magic Hats hit twice, Mask hit, and I finished him off with a Skull, and Geafried the Iron Knight.

After the duel, the three remaining duelists gathered, to roll dice, and whoever eneded with the hightest number is the one who recoeves a bye. Sadly I rolled two, four, and three, which was the lowest total.

So I find out I am dueling Edgar, who runs an clown control theme deck, with Gravity Bind, as stall.

Match Four, Particiapants:3

Duel One

Dark Winged Duelist:8000-4000-3000-2000-800

Edgar:8000-6200-5200-4200-600-0

He was actually able to pull of the Clown combo, with Bind, and was hit many times by White Magic Hat. Later in the duel he had done so much discard, so all I had was a La Jinn, Stormed Bind, played two Fissures, and attaked for the win.

Duel Two

Dark Winged Duelist:8000-6800-4600-2600-0

Edgar:8000-7000-6000-

He was able to Prohibit Storm, which totally killed me. He also began pounding me with White Magical hats, ate up my hand, and I slowly died.

Duel Three

Dark Winged Duelist:8000-7000-5800-4600-2600-400-0

Edagr:8000-6000-4200-2100-300

Great duel, one of the best Ive ever had. I was able to Storm Bind until he set up an Prohibit, which I tried to Jammered, which he Solemn Judgemented. If he had not played SJ, the duel would have been over. But without, he kept pounding me with Dream Clown, and White Magical Hats.

Since I was eliminated, I received third prize (Not bad) of two Pharoahs Servant packs. I open them up and guess what, I get another Gearfried…

Oh well, anyways, Edgar went on to play Takeshi, which he dominated the duel, and took the match.

So, my mom came, since two and an half hours had passed, and we headed home. I was actually proud since I had stood my ground against a very strong duelist, and had got that far. So before I finish up, Ill re-post my new modified deck.

Well, same as usual except for the second Gearfried. The only possible modifications I can see are adding an Imperial Order, which I hopefully by next week will have. Also I may think off adding two Jirai Gumos once again, but that is only a 50% chance.

SO remember, anyone can stand a chance, so never give up, even if you don’t have great cards, and let that be you secret weapon.

That’s all folks, hopefully Ill be back next week, and by then Labyrinth of Nightmare will be out already.
