The tournament registration started like at 12:30 but I got their a bit early to do some wheelin and dealin (trades) but to no avail. Its ok there is always next week. O yea I also bought a LoN pack and got nothing!! This tournament roxor'd cuz we got to use LoN cards!! So anyways I register and got a PSV pack for entering I got a cheesey Gravity Bind. O well on to the tournament. This is how it went if you lose in the first round you move on to the loser bracket. If you win you move on to winner bracket. Any losees after that mean your out of the tourney =( Round 1 : Odin (SmashnBash) vs Ray (Life Point Gaining Deck) Odin: 8000 Ray: 8000-9000-7200-4700-2700-3700-3100-4100-2800-0 Duel 1: This guy started off hard by playing a gravekeepers servant and dian keto!!! And then he played his Nimble Momongas! His life points didnt seem to go down. Who plays these cards!?!? (besides him lol). Anyways I played my 1800 Monsters like there was no tomorrow and kept poundin his life points. Because of gravekeepers servant I had to discard the card on top of my deck to attack. I ended up discarding Jinzo and my Goblin Atk Force!!! Its ok because later on I got Imperial Order and that was the end of that. Odin: 8000-7550-6450-6400 Ray: 8000-5750-6250-2200-2700-0 Round 2: He started off with Solemn Wishes!!! I started off wit my Man Eater then he played a face down card. Then I flipped Man Eater and played a La Jinn hitting him for about 2250. On his turn he played a card face down. Once more my 1800 level 4 monsters proved to be too much in the end. I had magic jammer face down from what I saw it seemed I wasnt gonna be using it any time soon so I played Heavy Storm to destroy the Gravekeepers Servant and I kept smackin his life points around. Record: 2-0 Round 2: Odin (SmashnBash) vs Carl (Mostly LoN Card Deck!!!) Odin: 8000 Carl: 8000-5700-4800-500-0 Duel 1: I kid you not this guy used all LoN cards in his deck except for like Time Seal and Gravekeepers Servant. Anyways this match was way too easy (no offense). He played Gravekeepers Servant and a bunch of mask cards. Once more they were no match for my 1800 monsters and I was able to bring out my Jinzo!! woot woot. Odin-8000 Carl: 8000-8500-6750-4850-0 Duel 2: In this duel he played Solemn Wishes. It didn't matter because I unleashed Jinzo. He started arguing with me because he didnt know Jinzo stopped all trap cards even CONTINOUS traps. *deep sigh* I slaughtered him once more...until now I have not been challenged once! Record: 4-0 Round 3: Odin (SmashnBash) vs Jeffrey (Semi beatdown) Odin: 8000-7000-4300-2700 Jeffrey: 8000-6200-6700-4800-1400-0 Duel 1: This guy was very young but he was a real challenge compared to what I faced in the first 2 rounds. Anyways this guy used morphing jar #2 and i got MeB and MoF on the field and from their on it was madness. With my 2 monsters on the field I was able to tribute for Jinzo. Jeffrey couldnt draw a monster so every turn Jinzo and my 1800 monster would go direct. Odin: 8000-5500 Jeffrey: 8000-7950-7850-5350-1000-0 Duel 2: This guy busted out Ultimate Offering to bring out summoned skull super early hitting me hard in the beginning. But in the end he gave me the upperhand by using his morphing jar #2 I got a Magician of Faith and Man Eater Bug on the field!!. From then on I played raigeki brought out Summoned Skull and kept pounding him. Eventually I won. Good Game man. Your pretty good for ur age. AND YOUR COOL TOO (Everyone who knew about Pojo wanted me to make them NOT look bad in the tourney report haha). Record: 6-0 Round 4: Odin (SmashnBash) vs Justin (BeatDown) Odin: 8000-6000-5950-5900-2800-800 Justin: 8000-5600-1400-0 Duel 1: I was scared becuase from what I know this guy is ranked number 1 in the store!! JUSTIN IS SUPER SUPER COOL!!! HES MY HERO (haha are you happy!?). During this duel I ate chili cheese fries mmm...*drools*. moving on to the duel....This one was quick I brought out Jinzo early and he did not seem to have an anwser. i kept playin 1800 monster to back up Jinzo and that was the end of that. Odin: 8000-5500-4200-1700-0 Justin: 8000-6200-5400- Duel 2: This one was just pure ownage on Justins part. He brought out Summoned Skull hitting me very hard. I was only able to get my La Jinn to go direct twice . I was shocked it was my first loss in the whole tournament!! Odin: 8000-5500 Justin: 8000-4400-800-0 Duel 3: This duel was insane. I won this duel with no tributes what so ever. To start things off Justin got out a Summoned Skull early hitting me hard once again haha. It wasn't looking too good haha. I was not really worried though because I had fissure in my hand. All i did was play fissure and went direct wit an 1800 monster (La Jinn). It got to a point where he had no monsters on the field and I kept pecking him more and more wit my level 4's until he had no more life points. I win the duel. Good game Justin you own. This was it the finals. Their were 3 people in the finals and to settle everything out we rolled dice and whoever had the lowest number got a bye. Unfortunately I did not so I had to duel first. To win this final one person out of the 3 had to win 2 times. Not once but twice. I played Leo in the first round of the final. Record: 8-1 FINALS (Part 1): Odin (SmashnBash) vs Leo (BeatDown) Odin: 8000-4500-3500-1900 Leo: 8000-6200-5400-1400-0 Duel 1: Man this guy was pretty good. He had some cool LoN cards too like Torrential Tribute and Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer. He gave me a run for my money as well. All I can remember in this duel was that he busted out Summoned Skull by using Change of Heart on my Harpies Brother. He then equipped it with Axe of Despair hitting me hard. I didnt worry, it got to a point where my fissures and crossouts kept handling him leading the way for my 1800 monsters to attack. Eventually I won. woot!! Odin: 8000-6400-1600-0 Leo: 8000-6200-4400 Duel 2: Leo basically owned me this duel. I remember he busted out a Raigeki and then played Summoned Skull and Megamorphed his Summoned Skull!!! Plus he had another monster on the field doing massive damage. I went from 6400 to 1600!! Haha. Odin: 8000-5500 Leo: 8000-4400-800-0 Duel 3: This duel was all me. If you check out the life point scales on most of my duels you'll notice someone busted out summon skull early hitting me very hard very early in the duel!! In this duel my fissures, crossouts, mirror force and all that good stuff were hard to deal with for Leo. He got out Kycoo the Ghost destroyer out early (I want that card!!!) he removed my crossout and Man Eater from the game. His biggest mistake was playing Cyber Jar because I drew Jinzo, Swords of Revealing Light, Raigeki, Fissure, and Gearfried. Can you guys figure out how I ended the duel? Haha. Good Game Leo you played good. Record: 10-2 FINALS (Part 2) Odin (SmashnBash) vs Matthew (Beatdown) Odin: 8000-5600 Matthew: 8000-3800-2000-0 Duel 1: If I wanted to win the tournament I had to win right here right now. Man this duel was insane, I busted out Jinzo very early. I hit his open field with Jinzo and La Jinn very early dealing 4200 damage!! He got his Jinzo to go direct on me but i fissured it . Anyways he played a card getting rid of my Jinzo but he didnt play a monster so i used my La Jinn to go direct. The next turn he played nothing so the field was mine for the taking. Odin: 8000-6200 Matthew: 8000-7550-3775-1550-887-0 Duel 2: Matthew hit me hard wit a 1800 monster but I jus flipped man eater bug and attacked doing 450 damage!! Later on in the duel I played my Summoned Skull!!! But then he used Solemn Judgement. On his turn he played a card face down. I atked with my Gearfried, it was Mask of Darkness he brought back Solemn Judgement. At this point I had two 1800 monsters ready to end it. I played monster reborn to bring back Summoned Skull but he played Solemn Judgement again!!! On his turn he got no monsters and played 4 cards face down and he killed my Gearfried (earth type monster). On my turn I removed gearfried from the duel to special summon my rock spirit he could not do anything about it (The Rock Spirit is a special summon monster with 1700 attac, but to special summon him I must remove 1 earth card from duel). I was not gonna tribute at first but I had a feeling he had Waboku so I tributed for Jinzo ending the duel!! FIRST PLACE GOES TO MEEH!!! And now for props and slops: PROPS: Pojo for being cool. Me for being sexy. Leo, Justin, and Matthew for dueling good. Me for winning first place. Chili Cheese Fries. Me for getting 1st edition Buster Blader and 1st edition Thousand eyes restrict as my prize. For having some friends down their. (sup arturo, guy from my alg 2 class, and that one guy wit 3 ground collapse, and that one guy who watched me duel the whole way through). Slops: Not being able to duel @ Cow Palace because its all the way in San Francisco. Those KForce1 people must be pretty good duelists. Questions?
