Got to WoB a little later than usual because we hit a snag on the way there. KForce1 immediately transformed into NASCAR INDY 500 pit crew of the century!!! Changed a bent rimmed tire with a full size in...10 min!!! hahaha. After the pit crew stint we zoomed our way to WoB with time to spare. The moment we got there we saw all the "cliques". To our left the saiyans traveling in their pack. To our right, the rare hunters. And in front of us, the rest of KForce1. Today would be different I guess because people are starting to read our deck reports and coming out to WoB to challenge us.

I took him out the game last last week and apparently came back with revenge on his mind. What was their motto again? "Don't hunt what you can't kill?" Well I was in a slump last week, but this week would be different. First duel like most beat downs I take him out quickly with some Jinn's and fish. Fish and Jinn (Gin) sounds yummy to me! I analyze his deck, nothing different from before except the additions of cannon soldiers. We exchange some ceasefires and some minor hits, but I came away with the first duel.

Second duel he comes back and stomps on me. I could not draw any hitters for defense. His cannon soldiers start popping out of no where and he starts shooting me. I take him down to 4700, but that's the best that I can do. I am near death with 1300. 2 soldiers on his field. I have swords on him. REBORN the monster! Bang Bang Bang. And we go on to duel three...

Third one I bust out Sangan and Fish. This time Phillip could not draw a monster to save him. When he draws Tribute to the doomed he takes the final 2800 hit and that's game. Good match, the good ones always go down to the third. He said he'll be back next week, and I will be looking forward to that rematch.

Scherazarde vs. Dan (unknown deck until the 2nd duel)

I have never seen this guy at World of Books before, so I did not know what to expect. He was watching my match with Phillip carefully and knew what he had to do against me. He had the upper hand. First duel he plays card of safe return (I was like wha? Straight TV show style...) Little did I know what was in store for me. Even with his cards he could not draw enough defense to save him. I stomp in the KFORCE1s and take the first duel. Me 8000-7500-6500 him 8000-6200-4400-3400-1400-0

Second duel began and he once again plays card of safe return. Then in unexpected turn of events he plays last wills, sangans, tomatoes, wotbf, vase of greed, cannon soldier (hmmm all the essentials to...oh no!!!) When he finishes playing all the combos I realized he was playing exodia and was like "NOOOO, EXODIA!" All he did was smile and say "that's right, Exodia, all 5"

Third duel, time for side deck, swap in exchange, nobleman of crossout, michizure x2. No change on his part. Time to slay "the forbidden one". I start off playing defense and he follows suit. That's when I brought out the Hysteric fairy to bring my LP up to 9000. Dark hole. Dark Elf attack. He is at 6000. I am still at 8k. He draws a couple of times due to monster reborn/ shallow grave. No matter I already have exchange in hand. The right arm is stolen!!! He takes my jinn. His only option is to now take me out with jinzo. Bad move negating the traps. I take his jinzo with snatch steal and I have an army of 5 on my side. Nuff said.

Scherazarde vs. Steven (Ballin' beat down aka. 3 elves, Goblins, torrential tribute, bazoo, kycoo, etc.)

Nick T. comes by and goes crazy about how this guy with 3 elves/goblins etc beat him down. And I go, just because you have all the good cards, does not necessarily mean automatic win. First match. I see that he barely has any monster removal. I take advantage of that and pummel him with jinn's, fish, fairy (FAIRIES?! you loco essay!) He plays Royal Command (whatever that card is that negates all flip effects) bad decision on his part because I only have 6 flip effects. I take all his monsters out for clear direct damage. He could've stayed alive if he didn't use that trap because his cyber jar would've saved him.

Second duel he takes control and knocks me down to 1650. I knock him down to 3300. I remember I reborn his Gemini and on my field I have: Gemini, MoF switched to defense, dark elf, jinn, and wall of illusion. He has 2 in the M/T field. I have solemn on mine. I take the risk. Gemini attacks! He goes "you lose, magical cylinder" and I go "wait, chain it, solemn judgment" I am at 825 and that's the end of that chapter. Nick comes by again, "you lose?" "HELL NO!"

Before the match I went to taco bell. I played the first match and nearly stole the win, but got trampled. I conceded the duel and ate my burrito. End of story.

Final thoughts: KForce1 dominated today, took the tourney by storm without K. Kaiba...Saiyans did well...Rare Hunters where you at?! I heard that it was 0-12 today for you guys, what happened?!...Project Princess in the works and almost done...Kycoo serf blinded me with his dome...my slump is officially over...time for school again...1 more week and SPRING BREAK WOO HOO!
