This time it's an official english tourney, so points are at stake! When I arrived, the competition looked very tough, it wasn't gunna be an easy day. My deck is a weird deck that mainly revolves around tough monsters, however, with the Trap Drop Off, this deck could pull a quick one on someone who isn't paying attention. Well lets get started, Monsters (16) Sacrifice Monsters: Dark Ruler Ha Des Jinzo Non Sacrifice Monsters: 2x Bazoo the Soul-Eater 3x Gemin Elf 2x Goblin Attack Force 1x Spear Dragon 1x Exiled Force 1x Fiber Jar 1x WotBF 1x Cyber Jar 1x Injection Fairy Lily 1x Yata-Garasu (stupid purple crow) Now we'll move onto the Magic Cards (17) 1x Fissure 1x United We Stand 1x Mage Power 1x Dark Hole 1x NoC 1x Premature Burial 1x SoRL 1x Graceful Charity 1x PoG 1x Snatch Steal 1x MST 1x HFD 1x Creature Swap 1x Change of Heart 1x Heavy Storm 1x Monster Reborn 1x Raigeki And now we finish with the Trap Cards (7) 2x Drop Off 1x Torrential Tribute 1x CotH 1x Mirror Force 1x Imperial Order 1x Magic Cylinder ROUND ONE: Duel One: Me v.s. another Beatdown Like I said, if you don't pay attention, Drop Off can screw you up easily. This duel was won easily with Drop Off and Yata. Lps Me: 7950 Him: 6700 (he was Yata-ed) Duel Two: He stood no chance at all, Yata won again with ease. This is easy!!!!!! ROUND TWO: Duel One: Me v.s. Legendary Fisherman deck He thought he had me. But he didn't. He had everything, Tornado Wall, A Legendary City, etc. But, I played the Duster, and boom, he's devastated, him and his life points both. Lps Me: 8000 Him: 0000 Duel Two: I just couldn't play Yata, even though I would've won, I just played until the duel was over. Lps Me: 7800 Him: 0000 BREAK IN THE ACTION: Well, I haven't come against any of the regulars, but it's only round 3, anything can happen. After I got a drink, some lunch and traded a Graceful Charity and one of my 4 spare Raigekis, for a Yata and a Torrential Tribute (I normaly wouldn't have done it, but the kid insisted), I went back to play!!!!!!!! ROUND THREE Duel One: Me v.s. a Yata Deck (finally something interesting) It was more fun this time. He did alot of damage and nearly won, but with the Fensheng Mirror I side decked to my main deck, I was able to remove myself from the Yata Lock, and win. Lps Me: 4100 Him: 5850 (he was Yata-ed) Duel Two: He wanted to win, but this duel was in my favour. I had everything from Dark Ruler and Raigeki to Yata and Drop Off. Lps Me: 5900 Him: 2000 (he was Yata-ed) ROUND FOUR Duel One: Me v.s. store owner EXODIA (it was the first time he'd ever played in this tournament) Probably the best deck I've ever played against. I'd dust him, but he'd activate Jar of Greed. It was hard for me to watch him summon Exodia on the 3rd turn. I knew I'd have to make the proper side deck exchanges to have any chance. Duel Two: I've side decked most of my attackers for 3 Needle Worms, a Morphing Jar, 2 Morphing Jar #2 and a couple of hand distruption cards. This time, I was ready. We began, with me placing Needle Worm in defence, then flipping it next turn. I got one piece, but it was only the left leg. Then I tried Deliquent Duo, I got another piece. A few turns later I used Consfication, but no Head, damn. After a few more cards, I flipped another Needle Worm, still no head, but that's 3 pieces, not enough to get around Backup Soldier, and you know what, he played it right then, DAAAAAAAAAAMMMMNNNNIT. So, he has 3 in his hand, and WotBF and Sangan on the field, all he has to do (on his turn) is play the Dark Hole I know he has and win. I have one choice, flip the needle worm! I did, and got his head. After that, he forfeited (he had about 6 cards left in his deck). Lps Me: 5500 Him: 4100 Duel Three: I nailed his Exodia head right off the bat. Then just abused his deck with Yata and the 1 Gemini Elf I'd left in my deck. Finishing Thoughts: Well, overall a good tourney. What I worry about is, the only guy who has beat me more than I've beat him was kicked out in the second round by some kid. Who I found out had to leave early for some reason. This kid could be the best duelist in our store, so I have to keep dueling, so this kid can't beat me. PROPS: Great tourney, loads of fun and overall a blast! Nice People SLOPS: The Kid (evil music) _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8.
