Hey fellow Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists!  Let me start off by saying that I pride my decks on originality.  You may remember me from the lockdown deck from May.  Well ive gone through a Clown control, to a Legendary Ocean, to a Gravitybing/legendary ocean beatdown.  But now, im trying my new deck entitled “sacrifice”.  This deck does everything it can to get the job done.  It’s a beatdown, of course, but it has originality.

This tournament was a Round Robin.  There were 11 participants and you had to face each player once.  Single duel Round Robin.  Before the tourney started I traded That Thunder Gemini-elf type card (saga-saga?) or whatever for a kycoo and heavy storm.  I also traded one penguin soldier and a 4-starred Ladybug of Doom for a premature burial.

1st duel:  Sacrifice vs Manny (stall for Barrel Dragon)

OK, this duel was kinda tough.  Manny is a good duelest who can recognize good cards on the spot.  His only problem is deck construction (about 50 cards).  Anyways, the duel began with him setting 4 cards and one monster in f/d.  I heavy stormed and he activated Fake Trap to protect the rest of his cards.  Then, I Summoned an amazon and attacked his f/d monster.  Wall of Illusion.  Amazon to my hand, wall to the graveyard.  It went a lot like this until I got out my hayabusa knight w/ mask and two 7-colored fish and a tribute to the doomed on his f/d wall (again!).  He activates………mirror force!! I couldn’t believe it.  I thought I was a goner.  He summons his third wall and attacks my life points.  Right now the score is at Me:  3350, Him:  5600.  I pull, graceful charity.  Perfect, I use it and trash maha vailo and MST.  Use ultimate offerings and summon FOUR monsters to the field (cost me 1500 LP).  I use premature burial on maha, get Amazon to attack the wall, and have axe raider, jira gumo, maha and 7-colored fish attack for the win.

2nd duel:  Sacrifice vs Mike (hayabusa Beatdown):

This guy had a mean deck, and was the eventual winner of the tourney.  We started off trading blows until we were both down to about 2000 LP.  I manage to get out White Magical Hat and mask to take out his 1900 bazoo.  Use WMH effect to peg…UNITED WE STAND!! Whew, perfect.  Then I use Delinquent duo to get rid off mage power, and he gets rid of the now useless hayabusa knight.  Btw, he didn’t play the knight because he saw me accidently drop TttD, and wanted to wait until it was used.  Now, with his strat crippled, he reverts to f/d monsters and I win eventually with 350 LP left to spare.

3rd duel:  Sacrifice vs ????? (Maha beatdown):

Sorry dude I forgot your name….

Anyways, this guy ran a standard Maha beatdown with lost of equips.  this was the closest game so far.  He got out his Maha fast with a premature burial and a horn of the unicorn.  He had me on the ropes a lot until the very end where I had saved up for one final burst, because I KNEW that was the only way to beat him.  So I use Change of Heart on Maha (w/ axe and nuzzler), use ultimate offerings, summon out 2 Amazons, Kycoo, and dark elf.  MST his mirror force (thank god) and attack for the win.  Final Score: Me: 50 LP, Him: DEAD!

4th duel Sacrifice vs Ahmed (Yata Lock):

This is the oldest duelest in the store, and is constantly a champ here, at Untouchables and I think once or twice at triple play.  Anyways, we start off with a bang.  On his first move, he plays forceful sentry and sends dark elf to my deck and sets one f/d monster and 2 m/t’s.  I draw monster reborn and he uses drop off, his most annoying card.  I play delinquent duo and kill two cards, then I play tributes to the doomed on his f/d monster (cyber jar) and I use White magical Hat to attack an he has no hand now.  He draws pot of greed.  One card, dark hole (plays) and other card, confiscation (plays).  At this point, we are both top-decking.  For those who don’t know what that means, it means we both had no hand or anything on the field.  I knew this was a bad situation for me to be in, but I thought I could recover quickly.  I draw.  Nobleman of Crossout.  He draws and sets.  My turn, I draw, and my hayabusa knight is dropped offed.  His turn, he draws and gets graceful charity.  Sends sinister and delinquent to the grave.  Summons WMH and kills my hand.  My turn, and I draw Magic Jammer.  He gets yata and its done.  Good duel.  Maybe I will get him next time.

The rest of the duels were either too easy or I don’t remember what happened.  Final record:  9 wins, 1 loss.  Mike ended up beating ahmed, so the 3 of us were tied for 1st.  A dice roll decided mike was the winner.  He pulled junk in his boosters, and then it was my turn.  I won the first prize and chose a booster and all I got was After Genocide.  Then we went out for pizza and I got picked up and headed home.  A good day, all in all.
