Tourney Report:
Hola! This izz my 1st eva Tourney
report! As you all thought it is a dark beat down…. J…k! I did really well for
myself today that’s why im posting! I came to
Artifacts after my slooow mom taking us. She said she
would pick me and my friend Rex up at
Pre Match:
Well I had some time before the tourney so I found some guy to trade his asura to my for my screwed up axe (I had an extra). That’s how I got my Priest.
Round 1:
SBM (me) vs. Tim ( a kid from I think rancho Bernardo High, cause he wor a jacket, I beat that school in wrestling)
This guy had good cards but I don’t think he knew how to combo withem. He knew the systematis of the game but could not fathom the power of a light beatdown. The first game was easy. He won the coin toss and went first. He laid 4 magic/trap cards face down and 1 7 coler fish in attack. I drew and Harpie Feather Dusted all ofem… he he he. After I busted out thunder nyan nyan. From then he just went down in a spiral motian wondering what hit him faster, my light monsters of my hand hittin the table. Final score him: 8000-7900-5000-2450-100-0 me: 8000-7600. Next game he made me go first. I don’t remember how I did it but it was quick. Me 8000 him 8000-don’t remember-0. He dident touch my life. I won!!
Prematch:
I talked to Tim (the guy I beat) and I was looking for some of his cards. It took me a while but I manage to get his snatch steal off of him for my spirit message L and Michizure. Fair trade huh?...he he
Round 2:
SBM (me) vs. Stan (the guy who has every card in the entire WORLD!)
I was freakin out when I had to
face him. I saw his binder and it had like 2 needle worms 3 Magic Cylinders, and
about a hundred of every card ever made. Well this first game was a long drawn
out one. I had field and card advantage the hole time
exept for his gravity bind. I don’t remember exactly
but somewhere along he busted out a lot of monsters I
raigeki and finished him of with time wizard with an
axe mage united luminis sparks on the field, 4 other
monsters on the field and 1 other magic on the field. I finished him off. Me:
8000- I don’t know him: 8000- I don’t know-0. Second game I had a bad hand. All
magic’s except for 1 hysteric. Laid hysteric in attack mode
with noble man of cross out down as a bluff. I went downward from there
in a V-660 degree spiral I kept getting stupid hoshiningens at the wrong time. Ahhhhg!! He finaly won… Next I was
nervous so I decided to go first. Yeah I shuffled good or something but I got a
Cylinders, Mirror Force and Imperial Combo. I laid em
down and Thunder Nyan Nyan
in attack. He laid 1 face down m/t and Gemini in attack. I laid hysteric out in
attack and purposely forgot to attack to lure him into attacking. He did and I
cylindered him. The rest of this game was ups and downs but in the end he laid
down a magician down with a m/t down but since I been attacking I knew it was
nothing to worry about, a bluff. I changed of heart buster nyan nyan bust monster reborn
another nyan nyan… or a
hysteric secial summoned soul of purity and attacked
for the win. (somewhere in the 2 games I won I had 2
hoshiningens pumping up each other with help from
Prematch:
I spent most of my time looking for an Airnight. I looked around for trades and found a little kid who I took an okazi from him a while ago. I said if he wanted to duel for cards and he said no. I finnaly persuaded him to and he put up every rare in his binder against every rare in my deckbox. Naturaly I won and got a bunch of useless rares I would probably put in a grab bag… humph rares are rares.
Round 3
SBM (me) vs.
Well I was siked that I beat stan but the worst was yet to come. I asked my friend rex and he said ha ha sucks for you!!. Gee Rex is a good friend. Well This first game I kept the pressure on him. He killed my preistes early and reborned it. He forgot that it’s a sprit and goes to my hand. From there it was down hill for him. Next game he owned me. Just took me out so Id rather not talk about it. This game was drawn out I was at 1600 him at 3300 roughly. He set I monster face down and end turn. Before that I had a nobleman of crossout as a bluff. My turn and I set a monster face up a thunder. Then end turn. He flipped and it was a fiber jar and got a kykoo to finish me off. Ahhhgh!! If I would have specialed summon soul of purity and crossed out his fiber I would have won!!! Oh well props to him. I lost but if I would have won I would have gone up against the guy he lost to. Heres how it wouldov gone. Graceful discard shining angel and hoshiningen. Graceful and discard the same thing. Special sommon 2 soul of purities. Raigeki and duster. Normal sommon mahaviolo and equip it with axe united and mage for game. At least I think that’s game. Whatever I Won!!
