Hello Pojo peoples. I haven’t written a tourney report in A LONG time but I thought I might just for amusement. Name: Nick Trépanier Deck Name: You Die Faster Then Me? O.o I don’t know Entry Fee: 9 Bucks Date: Saturday June 20(I think :\ I can’t find out now it’s like 12) Participants: 12 Location: Mission: Fun and games in St.Albert Canada Well, here we go, here’s the deck I used: Monsters [16] [2] Gemini Elf [2] Goblin Attack Force [2] Spear Dragon [1] Marauding Captain [1] Jinzo [1] Fiber Jar [1] Injection Fairy Lilly [1] Witch Of The Black Forest [1] Exiled Force [1] Yata-Garasu [1] Sangan [1] Sinister Serpent [1] Cyber Jar Magic Cards [19] [6] Staples [3] Hand-Disruptors [2] Graceful Charity [2] Mystical Space Typhoon [1] Heavy Storm [1] United We Stand [1] Mage Power [1] Premature Burial [1] Snatch Steal [1] Creature Swap Trap Cards [5] [1] Mirror Force [1] Torrential Tribute [1] Imperial Order [1] Call Of The Haunted [1] Magic Cylinder Total: 40 (Note I didn’t use THIS deck, but something like it, just so people wont copy my deck) Here we go: Round One: GothicSk8er Mix vs. YU6061238 (sorry bout this I’ll just use their numbers since I don’t have any names) Duel One: I beat him clean and simple, beat downs are easy to use, no strategy whatsoever. Duel Two: Again I beat him. I am deeply sorry I don’t know EXACTLY what went on but I’m trying. Round two: GothicSk8er Mix Vs. YU6022516 Duel One: Damn this kid was good. He’s like 2x shorter then me and he has a deck almost like mine, only warrior. He gets me down and I get him down pretty low, pretty much like a blow4blow type of situation. Finally some how he manages to get out a Marauding Captain, Gearfried, Gemini Elf, and a Goblin. But see, that was this kids down fall. He Reborned his Goblin Attack Force, not my Jinzo. And of course I had a Marauding Captain on my side of the field with a United We Stand Equipped. There it sat, waiting to get killed and me losing the first round, when BAM United We Stand onto the kids Marauding Captain. Funny thing he hesitated. But then put it on it. And attacked for a whopping 4200 ATK points onto my low 2000 ATK points. Fool, he ran SMACK Dab into…MAGIC CYLINDER! Depleting his L/P and winning me the Duel. Duel Two: I used Fiber Jar about two times this game. I beat him with the one and only Yata-Lock. Man was he mad when he lost. But he was ok about it. He was a pretty cool kid. Round Three: GothicSk8er Mix Vs. You Guessed it… BYE!!!!!! WAHOO!!!! In all my dueling days I have never had a bye. ;.; Finally it has happened. I waited around for the final match. Round Four: (Finals) GothicSk8er Mix Vs. OMEGA!!! Duel One: O Crap, I’m in the finals with the BEST dude in the store. Man, my beat down came into play fast and I beat him down hard and fast. He could barely touch me. Thank you Torrential Tribute. Duel Two: Uh oh he beat me this game. He got out Captain and Goblin Raigeki and HFD. Then attacked and after he used Ring of Destruction (he got two boxes of PGD so far L darn). Needless to say, I lost. Duel Three: Dimmitt I was getting scared. I wanted 222 points for this tournament and I wasn’t ready to give them away. I don’t remember how but I did it. I beat him. So for the prize I got a TP4 and 2 cards from another, which the judge opens and lets the runner up, choose 1 first and gives the rest of the cards to first place. Needles to say I didn’t get anything. Props: Winning obviously To Pojo and its message boards for being the best To getting a PGD box the day after the tourney To getting Eggs Benedict the next day and seeing my Grandparents I haven’t seen in 6 years O.o Getting lots of points Slops: To not getting a Ring of Destruction in my PGD box Getting only Helpoemer, Torture Wheel and Barrel Behind the Door for being the only good cards in my box Umm…. Nothing else I guess… Oh, wait there’s this girl there that I like and I didn’t ask her age DOH!
