Match One: versus Ray?

Outcome: 2-0

I never seen him before, he had a lot of the new Pharaonic Guardian cards. I had to keep looking at some cuz I’m not use to seeing them in a play a lot. I had field control in both duels which helped me win. Keeping Imperial Order for a while helped me build up for the finishing attack in the second duel.

Match Two: versus Blake

Outcome: 2-0

I’m glad I got to play Blake, I haven’t played him in a while. The last tournament match we played he won, 2-1. I was pretty disappointed that I didn’t win that match; I had 2 Marauding Captains stalling but didn’t draw anything I could use. I beat him surprisingly easily this time, every time he set a card I drew a nobleman of cross out and kept getting wide open attacks. He didn’t seem to draw many cards in either duel to play on the field.

Match Three: versus Brandon (Cait Sith)

Outcome: 0-2

Yet again 4 members of Avalanche reached the semi finals: me, Brandon, Kevin and Donald. I was hoping to take this one once I found out Kevin beat Donald. But I underestimated Brandon’s deck. Some of the new Pharaonic Guardian cards really spruced up his deck. Namely the annoying card that won’t die… Basically Brandon’s deck stifled me for two duels, I got totally mauled in the first duel, and came kinda close the second duel, but it wasn’t enough to push for a third duel. I don’t know what to say about Brandon’s deck and win, I’m just stunned and stifled…
