I dueled before the tournament. One was with a really good duelist named Will. He used Drop Off on my Raigeki :( He also played Imperial Order on my Change of Heart :( Another was against my cousin and one against my brother. There was also this kid who said his deck was one of the best. It wasn't all that great. My cousin and I both signed up and my brother didn't. It was single elimination. Well onto the tourney. First round: Bye I got a bye first round. I watched other duels. I also had to go to the bathroom cause I was so nervous. Second round:Me vs. a big guy with glasses. The first coulple of turns he was playing high defense monsters. I destroyed them with magic cards like Fissure. It was over pretty quickly. Third round: Me vs. some kid names Paul He took a quick lead with Hyabusa Knight equiped with Black Bendent. He attacked me directly with. I was kind of getting creamed by his Knights. I killed his first Hyabusa with Harpie's Brother. Then he played another Hyabusa with Axe of Dispare. I was soon down to 2300. He was close to 8000 life points. I killed his Hyabusa with a Cyber Jar. After that I slowly whittled down his life points by Change of Hearting his monster and attacking him directly with my monster and his monster. He was down to 100 lifepoints. I was at 2300. Well after I Change of Hearted his monster and ended my turn he added 500 lifepoints to his score because I left Change of Heart on the field. I was like whatever. He got Summoned Skull out and killed my monster. I only had one card in my hand and that was my own Summoned Skull. I drew. I had Graceful Charity face-down. I activated it and got Fissure, Raigeki, and Harpie's Brother. Discarded Summoned Skull and Fissure. I played Raigeki and Harpie's Brother and won. Semi-Finals: Me vs. Nick (My cousin) I had played him the day before six times and we both won three times. He was winning when he Change of Hearted my Witch of the Black Forest, equiped his Goblin Attack Force with Axe of Despair. I change of Hearted GAF and summoned Barrel Dragon with Mage Power. He played Monster Reborn on my Witch. He didn't know I would get the effect when it died. Sacraficed it and played Summoned Skull with Mage Power. He didn't realize I had Mage Power on the field. I killed his monster with a magic card summoned 7 Colored Fish and attacked directly with both of them and won. Now it was time for the Finals. I was pretty nervous. He had and Exodia/F-I-N-A-L/ Beatdown deck. This duel was over pretty fast. He had dark Elf on the Field. I could get to his lifepoints and he got F-I-N-A-L. Well second isn't that bad.
