I’m not sure how many people were in this tournament but I had to suffer a grueling FIVE rounds
of fierce combat against all of our good competitors.

Round 1: Me vs. Michael
Michael is a nice guy with an incredibly rude son. He hadn’t shown up in MONTHS s I had no
clue what I was up against. I told him I had gotten a LOT better since he saw me but he didn’t
believe me. Oh well. He made his first mistake. ;)

Duel 1: I don’t remember much of this duel because of my incredible memory. I do remember we
got into an argument over some new PGD cards and I won (as usual :p). The only damage I took
was from my taking his Lily and pumping it up. He got spanked.
Me: 8000-6000/Him: 8000-5700-4700-2900-0

Duel 2: Because of my incredible memory, still I can’t remember much. Don’t worry; It get’s
better later.
Me: 8000-7300-5300-5100-4600/Him: 8000-4400-3900-2900-0

Round 2: Me vs. Brian
I was a little nervous. Brian was good but he sold all his cards once and is on the brink of doing it
again. His deck would be better if he didn’t run $*** like Drop-Off and Trap Hole.

Duel 1: I had a pretty bad hand. He had a worse one. Clobbered him once I drew my Jinzo. Lily
finished him.
Me: 8000-6000/Him: 8000-400-0

Duel 2: He had a better hand this time. Actually I got scared but my trusty Lily and Snatch Steal
stole his Lily. Can you say B***h-slapped.
Me: 8000-6400-6300-4300-2300-300/Him: 8000-7300-6500-5600-4900-1600-900-0

Round 3: Me vs. Dustin
I was REALLY nervous. Dustin can beat every time if I’m not paying attention. Luckily I
discovered his strategy after the first duel. I reached for...uhh...the sideboard.

Duel 1: He got me confused when he played his Sangan. Nobody in my area runs that unless they
have...Exodia. He had 4 pieces in his hand when I clobbered him.
Me: 8000/Him: 8000-6100-5200-3800-0

Duel 2: Sideboarded for this one. I went to great lengths to destroy a single Exodia piece and
remove it from play. Doing so left me with my Imperial Order only. He kept doing stuff to keep
it in play. When we were both down to one card, I made a HUGE scene when he played his
*cough* - Yata - *cough*
Me: 8000-7800-6800-6600-6400-6200–skip a few–0/Him: 8000-6200-5500-3300

Duel 3: I have God to thank for this duel. He gave me the best hand ever while Dustin...didn’t.
Clobbered him with Jinzo. His pathetic bluffs didn’t fool me.
Me: 8000/ Him: 8000-5600-3200-600-0

Round 4: Me vs. Bye
Bye was really hard. I started getting nervous about the time he forfeited to let me go to the next
round. ;-)

Round 5: Me vs. Tyler
No clue what he ran so I wasn’t sure how to play. I figured I’d play defensively till I discovered
his strategy. Then do everything I could to counter it.

Duel 1: We both got a good hand so the duel took a long time. My defensive strategy didn’t work
so well but I got his strategy down by then.

Duel 2: He was really good, but I just got the luck of the draw (I have the “magic hand” to my
friends because I can name any card and it magically jumps to the top of the deck for me to draw
(do not doubt the “magic hand”)). Only damage I took was from his Spear Dragon connecting
with my goat.
Me: 8000-6100/ Him: 8000-7000-5000-4200-0

Duel 3: Hard to say who had the better hand but I ended out on top. All three of my Goblin
popped out and so I was able to do a lot of damage with them.
Me: 8000-7000-5300-3000/Him: 8000-5700-3900-2000-0

Round 4/Finals: Me vs. Jared
Whoa! He’s ranked number three. Hey, second place ain’t too bad. I got spanked 2-0. I won’t go
into too much detail ‘cause I don’t like telling stories about how I lose.

1st Duel: Me: 8000-7500-3100-4100-1600-0/Him: 8000-6650
2nd Duel: Me: 8000-6100-2200-3200-2900-1000-400-0/Him: 8000-7100-2900-3900-2800-3800

I got 2nd Place which ain’t nothin’ to laugh at. I got 1 whole pack for entering
(ooooooo...ahhhhhhh). I got a Fushioh Richie in my pack (Ultra-Rare).

Pros:
-Getting 2nd (stop laughing at me)
-Getting an Ultra I traded for a Marauding Captain.

Cons:
-Losing so badly in the finals
-Not much else :D
