This is not my real deck so biters cannot try to copy. Well, since I did quite well this week I just decided to write a report… 1st match: Won- one of the simpsons guy Well, about 2 seconds before i sit down and get my game on, Ed tells me that this guy took him out recently in a tournament. He said this guy runs and exodia in his side deck and plays a heavy artillery beatdown so I'll probably lose. This fear doesn't penetrate me a bit. Played him both duels quickly by playing beatdown style with my goblin attack forces and some clearing holding off field control and soon ended this match easily. 2-0 2nd match: Won- some teen I was walking to Serf to find out my next opponent when my opponent just finishes his opponent and Serf tells him he is playind Donald. He then gives a noticeable "awww" and started saying how i knocked him out of the tournament the first time he got here to play. Playing so many matches I had no memory of playing this guy nor seeing him around, but he told me he was a regular so I guess he probably knows my deck. Right before the duel starts he states that he wanted to use his PHG cards and told me he is the owner of 3 ring of destructions and many other pricely new PHG cards. This startled me since it just recently came out and barely anyone has them. So he brought a bit of fair into me, but maybe not enough to win him and let him advance. Once again I did a repetition of what ocurred in the first game and won with 1 difference, he won the 2nd duel. A kid next to me decided to watch me play and started saying how that guy probably got lucky, since i knocked him out 2 times in the tourney and he knows I am no 1 at the store, then he began asking me a series of questions such as, "you think he's weak?" which is a really disrespectful question especially with the person directly in front of me, so I stated he has potential. By playing beatdown style (which is my alternate strategy) besides hand control I won with a breeze. Both these matches the players has stated "Isn't your deck a yata deck?" All i can say is, different strategy vs. different people will work a lot better. Adjusting and developing to how your opponent plays allows the weaker characteristics to fade away... 3rd match: Won- Kevin (semi finals) Well, like always I hate playing vs. friends, especially now since this guy is a part of my alliance. Kevin defeated Steffon in the last match 2-0. He told me the night before that he had eliminated a weakness in his deck and while I was watching him play Jenova i figured out he just played a lot more defensively rather then offense. The first duel I won as he carelessly leaves a lilly on the field in attack mode and I crash a witch into it, losing 2300 making him lose 2000 and I got to search for a exile force. Without a doubt not long I finished this duel, since right now my deck is at it's very peak you will have to have a very decent deck and flawless playing or careless playing on my side of the game to win. A flaw he made in this duel was that he painful choiced, and took out sinister+barrels+jinzo etc and usually I would give the person a sinister, but seeing him play a lot, he tends to forget to retrieve his sinister back from the graveyard so I gave him a barrel. This really worked, as he took quite a few open hits from me due to a drought of monsters when he could have blocked them off with that sinister. Second duel I had a beautiful hand with delinqent duo+kuriboh+imperial order and he had a hand full of monster with 1 magic. Then for some reason, I dunno why, I offered him 2 tpacks to forfeit to me and so he did. 4th match: Won- Edmund (Finals) [Family Feud] Man... the last 2 people I had to play is from my alliance... Wut the? So since he unexpectedly, filled with errors, beaten another one of our alliance members (Brandon aka Cait Sith) he was destined to meet me at the championship. I asked did he want to just have 2 packs and call it a day, but nooooooo this guy refuses. Well, I give him props for making it to the tournament. It's in the family blood. Well the first duel I did a quick yata-lock on him bringing up the tension as the crowd gathers around. The next one he goes first and confiscated my yata (most important factor of my deck **TIP**) wut a !@#$% that pretty much just sucked from then on and I lost this duel. Final duel, as I got a full hand advantage start (PoG+ charities+forceful) he knew he lost this one. As people began to say, "you can still win, if donald plays with complete lack of skills" well... I believe this isn't going to happen anytime soon as I began to get bored of waiting for his 1 hour descisions so I started beating on the table like usual and maybe this sped the process up and I won soon enough... But man... he confiscated my yata on the 2nd turn this time!! Props: -Me for winning the tourney -New Avalanche Alliance for getting far -Playing Ed in tourney (Family Feud) -Nick for doing decent with my weak/fun deck -Becoming no 1 duelist at store -Pulling anti-raigeki -Got Voltaire to do alot of push-ups because of the fee of losing to me (10 pushups per lost - he did 40) Slops: -none Shouts to the duelists: edmund, brandon, nick, kevin, steffon, serf, voltaire, james, alex, marcus + rest of kforce for bringin down alot of competition, and many other advanced duelists.
