The usual Saturday tournament over at Autographs and Collectibles. Got there around 1:30 with my friend
Tim and had few practice duels; everything was working well. There were quite a few people, most of the
usuals, and some new faces; I was excited to begin.

ROUND 1: Nathan (Lockdown Deck) vs. ???? (COMPLETE NEWB)

I was pretty nervous because I'd never seen this person, but after starting the duel, it was pretty obvious that
a severe disaster would be the only thing keeping me from winning.

DUEL 1:
First pull, not too good. I had 2 clowns, but no protection for them. I did, however, have one of my favorite cards in
my deck: Delinquent Duo. I laid it down, took my 1000 LP, and picked my card. It was freaking Kojikocy, a 1500 atk
SDK card. I was pretty confident after that. I just played my White Magical Hat with some Fairy Box protection and let
the hand disruption roll. It was a slow duel, but it wasn't tough.

WINNER: Nathan

DUEL 2:
I was working the Bind in this game. I had Gravity Bind and 2 Dream Clowns, so I just played some basic Clown Control, and then threw in White Magical Hat for a little disruption, and the duel went quickly.

WINNER: Nathan

I had a bye for Round 2 for some reason, so I wandered aimlessly and checked out some of the other duels. As Round 3
neared, I found out my opponent was going to be Phillip, a very intimidating duelist.

ROUND 2: Nathan (Lockdown Deck) vs. Phillip (Burn Deck)

DUEL 1:
I was pretty nervous, but my first pull calmed me. I had a Gravity Bind and a Messenger of Peace, plus a Dream Clown. I was ready to duel. Phillip tries to summon Cannon Soldier, but I Trap Hole it. I've got Dream Clown in attack so I go for it, and he chains Scapegoat. Next turn, he plays Tremendous Fire, summons Giant Germ, equips Black Pendant, and attacks. I'm feeling the pressure. My turn, I play Harpie's Feather Duster and lay down Fairy Box, my only defense. I call it wrong twice in a row, and draw Mystical Space Typhoon, I was done.

WINNER: Phillip

DUEL 2:
The heat was on. He used Tremendous Fire, Cannon Soldier + Scapegoat, Just Desserts, etc. He left my head spinning after he beat me.

WINNER: Phillip

Well, that's it, the tournament was over, I got my pack and pulled a Susa Soldier!!! Wait, I'm not excited, that card sucks! Ah, whatever, I don't care anymore.

PROPS:
To Phillip, he's awesome
To Tim, he did well
To Autographs and Collectibles, I'm glad they have tournaments
To Pojo.com, for making the most awesome worldwide Yu-gi-oh network

SLOPS:
To Susa Soldier, for jumping into my pack and disappointing me
